@BunnyBangercouple things. never run any mods for skyrim outside of MO2. Install, yes there are 3? mods that are installed outside of MO2. SKSE, dyndolod main files, and ENB files, but 99% of mods will be installed and ran through mo2 from now on.

screen 3 you are attempting to run dyndolod outside of MO2. you missed a step in adding the dyndolodx64 to MO2 executables.

Spoiler

image.thumb.png.e459f942ecfb2f73f7d2ce4721e68d82.png ther green and blue gears at the top.

screen 2 wrong dyndolod file you are attempting to install. and it looks like you are trying to install to a protected system file. i would suggest you move everything to a seperate hard drive or at least make a folder outside of program files.

screen 1 you didn't run the launcher for skyrim thru MO2.

@BunnyBanger

Sorry, but i can't be more clearer than in the entry 'DynDOLOD' in 'Installation'. If that doesn't work for you then you have to check youtube.

Also you have to initialize the game.

I am sure this video will work wonders tomorrow after I get a good sleep.

I apologise if I have offended you. I have not attempted to mod Skyrim in a long time and so there are a lot of steps that I simply do not understand and do not know.

GamerPoets seems to do a great job with the videos on youtube. I will consult his videos to get a better understanding of how to set up the main mods.

Cheers for the effort you put into this guide. I am sure once I learn a few more bits and bobs, it will all come together in my head. Right now, there is missing information that I am unable to fill. However, I will get there son enough. :-)

Cheers guys <3

I have experience modding in the past and I understand how complex the process can be. Such as running FNIS regularly after installing mods with new animations.

Even with my limited knowledge, I consider myself a beginner because so much has changed since I used to mod.  Now Bethesda fights back with random creation content updates which breaks SKSE which breaks mods, and then some mods never get updated to work again.

I am very much out of touch with the process and so it will take some time to learn, and many more questions in the future.

In the past, I used to write a list of all the mods I wanted to use. I would then check if they still work. I would then make a list of the prerequisites, and another list of prerequisites for the prerequisites. Haha.
Then I would slowly one by one install them all backwards, and hope to dear god that it all still works. 8 hours of labour later, I would discover something was broke. Once i got what i could working, it was then time to set up each mod one by one in the menus in game.

Modding skyrim is like a full time job! haha.

I envy the folk who can just do it without thinking. I am jealous. :P

I'm having trouble with Lawbringer again. I'm getting CTDs anywhere in the Rift just south of Ivarstead if I try to enter into any building or access any menu. I thought that maybe disabling the Nilheim plugin would make a difference, but it doesn't. Disabling Lawbringer as a whole fixes the problem. I've got it installed using the separate feature and have disabled the two troublesome plugins (Bannermist Tower and Falkreath Watchtower). Still it goes kaboom. Anybody else having issues with it? Seeing as how I've used it a grand total of zero times I'm inclined to just toss it.

to be fair i had to watch a video to understand how to install it the first time.

wait.. me.. type to fast? i don't hunt and peck, it's more like search and destroy each key. I never learned how to properly type when i was younger so.. eh.

This is why my skyrim never updates unless i start skyrim from steam..

Heyo, thanks for a great guide, took a long break from Skyrim, thought it would be time to move to SE. Followed up to "Physics and Animation" section and got a little confused. I installed CBBE body and Demoniac CBBE skin, and I've noticed that "Physics and Animation" section has other bodies following down the line (CBBE 3BBB for ex.) Now, to make it clear, i do want physics on my bodies, so should i uninstall CBBE body and change it for the CBBE 3BBB? Or must I keep CBBE body and install 3BBB on top of it? Same goes for the Wrong Body. Sorry if this was asked before, i checked a number of pages for an answer, but couldn't find one. Thank you once again!

IMATOSSIT!

@Navegante You need CBBE first and install everything else on top of it. CBBE is required for 3BBB, CBP, C3PO, R2D2, etc.

As Aylis said, you really are overthinking it. other than the skin (be it demoniac, bijin, niesa, aylis. pick one.) just install the rest of the mods you want. if it says (group x) next to it you need all mods in that group. keep going until you have them all.. MO2 will throw up a missing masters error until you get all the way to sexlab. after you get all the mods installed run skyrim launcher once to set the mo2 ini files run fnis, bodyslide, dyndolod. add outputs for each as you run them. i just posted a video for dyndolod. then you can modify the skyrim ini and skyrimpref ini to fit what you need. and done.

This post has definitely felt like I've been forcing myself to play skyrim in the past for so long now. The only reason I've stuck to modding LE for so long is because I didn't know how to mod SE in the way I want and here is a seemingly perfect guide on how to do so that I just never bothered to check. The modlist does seem a bit terrifyingly large tho so i might just take what I want from it and see if it works.

Are those just uploads of the standard files available at Nexus and Lover's Lab or are they converted or tweaked  by you?

standard files, but because some of them are on pages or posts on the original LE mod it just seemed easier to post them since i don't have the form 43 issue others seem to and these are the ones i have.

The next big update for Win10 is showing up. Hopefully it won't kill my system...

Still alive. ;)

Starting to work on the next batch (#3 done up to Skyrim HD I).

Are there any more Bodyslide presets? Only found one more other than Wrong Body on nexus thats got CBPC config.

many. the one i use rather than wbody is booty body most to me are just way beyond what i would call believable but i use smallest preset and it looks fine. But it has over 50 presets so /shrug, you can even modify them if you don't like them

Why is my bodyslide blank when I run the exe?  Outfit/Body and Preset are both blank in the drop down menu.

Are you running it within MO2?
