Thats the physics/skeleton going bonkers. Did you try my other thread regarding physics (link is in post #5)?

 

I got the same and suspect the ENB. If i find a fix for that i'll add it to the bugs section (this can't be intentional, right?). So far it is neither the textures nor 'Wet Function'. Those were my first suspects...

Looks like Sexlab Kidnapped Redux SE is very sensitive when it comes to the load order. At first it could cause a random CTD almost everywhere - now i seem to have found the right spot for it. Will have to check it longer to determine if it could be added.

yes it's a mod it should be in the char/PC section of your list wetfunction redux is the actual name, there is also a setting depending on the skin you use in it's fomod. i belive aylis skin and bijin skin both have "sweaty" specular maps in the fomod when you install. If you don't use wetfunction redux then i would re-install the skin without any wetness maps.

EDIT: Apparently Aylis is also having the issue you speak of mine looks like that during sex but not after. it may be one of the LL mods or dripping when aroused

Don't forget to activate/edit mods after they load. Don't leave the jail cell until you have gone through all the MCM mods and edited them for what you want. And activate defeat last..

MO2 isn't installed in Program Files, its on a totally separate drive.

 

As for Antivirus, I only use Windows Defender (or so I thought) but I recently found out (and am pretty sure this is the reason its happening) that some other Antivirus software has somehow made its way into my Registry files. More details on this in the spoiler:

I'm pretty sure its because I'm running this on a laptop that came with a bunch of bloatware and I didn't think much about uninstalling AV software, so I uninstalled it through Windows and not by using the AV Uninstaller program (whatever AV it might be).

 

I've already found some McAfee crud hiding in the Registry files and have since removed it, but something else must still be hiding in there somehow, though I have no idea what it could be. I only found this out because apparently my Windows Defender isn't even turned on, and I don't have the access to turn it on (something about IT administrator limiting access).

 

I've tried reinstalling windows while keeping my files with no luck, so I think my only option might be to back up everything to an external HDD and then wipe the system. It is what it is.

 

Yeah, I made sure to give both administrative rights.

 

I'll try your FNIS files once I can and just cross my fingers, but at this point I find it pretty unlikely.

 

Also @Dirknina I actually started with FNIS XXL and then downsized to the regular FNIS thinking that might've caused it, but both had the same issue.

that sounds like a work or school computer. And yes IT routinely puts in the "corporate approved" software as it's own antivirus. I'm hoping you bought a used laptop from someplace like Dell and not out of the trunk of an '77 towncar from a man named "pockets" or "slim"

Mcafee there is a tool online you can get from majorgeeks that will actually scour the registry and all the little places mcaffee likes to hide their shit and remove it

McAfee yuck  don't ever use it  I use Kaspersky it finds alot and got alot of features.

Alot that's on list are ESL mods, if you hover over the total it gives you a break down of esm, esp, esm+esp, and esl.  As long as the esm+esp don't go over 255 your good.  I have about 289 mods active,  I think 186 where esm+esp. I'm still at work so I cant give ya good numbers or a picture.

Almost. ESL, and it doesn't matter how many you got, count as one ESP.

 True so say 250 for some testing room. Plus you can ESL-ify others too if you know how. I believe step has a guide for ESL-ifying mods.

It's actually a personal computer I got from Newegg (not buying from them again, they've given me many problems throughout my time with them), but still came with all the fun bloatware laptops often come with. I've used that Mcaffee tool, but there's still something in there (or somewhere) apparently.

 

As for the IT message, apparently it was a bug that came up in an old windows update in January that was supposed to be fixed. Guess not for me though. ?‍♀️

 

Anyways I'm just waiting for an external HDD to come in now and Ima reset everything once I get my files on there. Here's to hoping that'll finally work.

lol so far i've built 3 computers for it and fallout... one for LE and 2 for SSE with bigger and better gpu and cpu's each time. This last one was a pain though, first time i went custom watercool loop and it took me 2 months of hair pulling to figure out that while btp and fpt are theoretically the exact same threading there is a minute enough change that your shit will leak out if you use a fpt on a bpt fitting.. and a destroyed desk. and there is no place locally i can get bpt fittings since it's a European thread. And that you want thicker tubing if you're a noob to bending... ?

oh yeah. @Aylis The Engarde mod that was suggested a couple of pages ago, if it was put in and xedit ran after animations etc (you know, when you don't need the pretty pretty stuff) it's actually a good mod to mess with if you are a stamina user, it makes the stamina just leap back rather than slowly filling back up, it's closer to reality you could say, your bow draw cost 10 stam, you get back 8 after 1-2 seconds, so the rapid fire muscle fatigue is in there, but if you hit zero you will not even draw the bow, you are to tired to even defend yourself, but i would give it a thumbs up but it would need to be in the animations section along with the patch that needs to be built. Zedit has an issue with loading the full mod list, so cutting it to the foundation, skse, animations should be low enough to patch and run correctly, along with ordinator  And the dual wielding parry animations you need for it as well.

I did shut off smp weight painted hairs on mine. May take a look at that.

One lightweight mod I like to recommend is MyBugs... NSFW Moths and Butterflies (CBBE or UNP) which turns moths & butterflies into (naked) fairies. Absolutely hilarious with the catching sounds from Catching Fairies

What i'm working on...

 

Wrong Body looks good but seems to have some issues with a few animations from LL we use. Eva - Bodyslide CBBE 3BBB works much better in that regard. Sadly it doesn't have all the options for presets 'Wrong Body' offers. Atm i'm trying to mix those two for the best results.

 

Parallax seems to slowly getting adopted to SE and it looks fantastic (that's what i really missed coming from LE). The ice already works and now we got something for the farmhouses as well.

 

I also found something for the rocks so our PC doesn't hover above the ground. Its only a small mod but it looks way better than before. Hopefully we'll get more mods like this.

 

It is somewhat funny to see how much still gets released for Skyrim.

I just downloaded the mxpf.zip, put it into the SSEEdit and done, clicked Ok, asked me with a pop up saying "New Module File" - "Filename without extension: ", pressed Ok and done, hope thats how you do it, or i missed something?

Charurs life looks good and OA has a lot planned but the SE version is not supported. I think I'll do my own conversions for that one if I put it in still working on ironing out my issues with smp hair for i want movement in my hair on char.

@Aylis  i need your help to confirm a possible bug in combat  my char T poses when i equip any weapon for in a fight but goes normal if a sheath it.  running the combat animations you have listed  reinstalled skeleton took off animations ran fnis and still t pose when i walk forward when drawn weapon. if im in sneak mode animation looks fine.   im at a loss here.

Ok, after installing everything, using the bodyslide, FNIS... all the files in the order shown in the post, i got a CTD when the main menu is going to show. I mean, appear the ENB reading, then the main menu background with the loading icon in the lower right, and after that loading, crash, cant even see the New Game or anything, someone know what should be the problem? something i can provide you for help? im gonna try to disable mods and look which one is causing it...

 

EDIT: After disabling mods, found the crasher was the "Skyrim Water Flow Fix" in Final, i dont know if thats only to me or others with that problem 2 but i make that clear.

The first one works. The version for SE didn't exist when i started the list. Will change the link. Done
