Thanks for the advices. However, why in DOA5LR we did not have to update the program AutoLink every time a new version of the game appeared? Everything worked without problems at 1.02 and at 1.10C. Will we continue in this way to jump from one version of the game to another?

If you can't wait for the REDELBE patch but want to still use your mods, then follow these steps. Only takes a few seconds.

So, in the meanwhile, if someone cannot wait for the update, you can fix current REDELBE with a bit of xml editing.

Locate the three following patches in Layer2.xml: "PatchSRARTA", "PatchSRSV", and "PatchSRVS". And add this thing to the three of them: search_up="0x2000000"

 

(example: <Patch name="PatchSRVS" type="hook" search_start="0x1742CD0" comment="signature 1.03b" search_up="0x2000000" >)

Where is the problem.
Edit the file or just wait.
DoA 5 and DoA 6 are different games not compareable.
And with autolimh not all worked flawles, if TN changes some slots etc.

 

In short.
Edit the file or wait complaining will not help you.

REDELBE can some times survive some exe changes due to the signature approach, but that doesn't always work (it depends on how much TN is updating their code). In today case, it wasn't a signature problem, but just a search-range thing in the signature finding, if it wasn't by that, it would have survived todays update.

 

Also, to support new dlc, and new filenames, those filenames and string hashes need to be cracked, the information about those cannot be guessed in advance. There isn't much that can be done about that, as they don't longer include their internal project files with filenames since 1.02.

Sorry, but you just misunderstood me. I am not complaining, I am ready to wait as long as necessary.  I am simply surprised because the two games are very similar.

Well I for sure am glad to see you back.  There is too much tittie around here and someone needs to balance things out!
