So currently there's a sale going on for Sims 4 DLC, and I was wondering which expansion pack would work best with wicked whims?

Expansion pack: (I already have get to work), I was considering on getting get famous because of what it adds to the core game.

Game pack: Maybe spa day? Not too sure.

Stuff pack: perfect patio stuff due to the hot tub, but I don't think I'll ever go all out designing a backyard.

The newest one is pretty good actually. Got quite alot to do with both the new skills, the media production stuff, and the new active careers in acting and fashion design. Also really like the new neighborhood, even if its a bit lacking in lots. I also really like the clothing from laundry day, but yeah, depending on what it costs it may be a bit too much for just clothing, I don't care that much for the laundry mechanic in and of itself.

Why not buy Vampires along with Get Famous? You get the most out of the Undying Fame reward trait when your Sims also happens to be undying.

It doesn't matter if they can't walk around in the sunlight (at first, anyway) as the only light that matters is the Limelight.

I like "Seasons" and "Get Famous". "Laundry Day" has good stuff, and it's fun for about 30 minutes, then laundry gets a little tiresome. My only real advice; Stay away from "My First Pet Stuff". I bought it because I have everything else. Now, I don't think I'd want it, even if it was free.

50% off for Get Together is a steal to me, (too bad I paid full price tho), adds clubs, dancing, DJ's, and a decent sized nice new town.

Only EP I have but could't live without it now, (I made a Sex Club that works pretty nice with WW BTW).

So many other EP's fall short by not including a decent sized town, or none at all.

Spa Day is OK & Bowling is OK, at least they add some new things for sims to do.

Patio stuff & Backyard stuff have the best value per content and some added usable new items, not just static ones.

(Although my sims don't like to use the hot tubs at all, needs a higher fun rating (EA is still slacking).

I'm waiting for a 50% off sale on Backyard stuff and Dine Out now.

Hey guys!

So I made decision and bought: Get Famous, Spa Day, and Vintage Glamour stuff.

So far I'm loving all the new items I got from the packs, I was shocked how much stuff got added into my game!

I am a bit disappointed though that there's no sex animations in the sauna, the one place I expected them :( anyone know of a mod that does this?

But overall I think the three work in conjunction pretty well! I have two famous sims who have a butler, who gives them massages and other stuff, or if the butler sucks they can just go to the spa instead lol.

I will buy more dlc in the future when it is cheaper, I just bought these three for now to hold myself off because I really wanted to try out get famous.

There's definitely animations for the sauna by some creators. Off the top of my head at least Mike24 and Azmodan have made animations for the sauna, and probably more as well.

After I posted that comment I realized that there is an option, I didn't see the option before because my sims were using the sauna already lol.

I really like the Vampire Pack. Beeing a vampire turns the game into a mini RPG with level-ups and unlockable abilities. It is also a pretty cool idea that you have to select a weakness (like lower resistance to sunlight or losing the abitlity to eat normal food) every time you level up. I don't think I have seen that in any vampire videogame so far.

I might buy that one the next time there's a sale

Bumping this thread. I'm just getting into the base game now and am curious what opinions are of what to buy? I have not yet messed with WickedWhims, but plan to. So with that in mind, what are "Essential" or "Recommended" content to purchase?
