Hey Everyone! Now that V4 is released I am concentrating on the Vampire Lord Replacer I had told you all I was working on a while ago. It is all about done and ready for the next update ( that will be known as an "Addon" instead of a release ). Below is a sneak peek of the Vampire Lord! Don't forget to set the quality to 720HD for best viewing. Enjoy!

P.S : If you pay attention and have the Celestials mod already you may notice the breast size changes for the form. Yup I also started work on a larger breasted variant of Devil Knight with most clipping fixed that will be about the same as the Naked Body and Angel Knight Forms sizes :)

Hey everyone!

 

I decided to stop by and ask... do you all think this is an "adult only" mod? My wife asked me why I only released it in the adult section, and well, I'm 33, and there IS partial see through nudity (somewhat). Anyone else think I could release this in a place other then an "adult only" section?

In a general sense I'd say it's not 'adult' as there's no real explicit content, it's sexy but not sexual.

 

However as far as this board goes, anything not 'G' rated tends to get classed in the adult section, and I'd consider this too revealing for children etc.

(It doesn't pass the 'comfortable with mother watching' test)

 

That said, it's not really a bad thing to be in the adult section as post count wise it's the more active side XD

Funny enough, the other day I was working on the Vampire Lord replacer when my mother came over for an hour to wait to pick up my kids for the weekend ( had to wait for my oldest to get off the bus ).... and I didn't feel uncomfortable and she didn't even seem to notice what I was doing lol.

 

Guess I have a pretty cool Ma. Either that or it pays to be an adult sometimes, heh.

Good news and bad news all...

 

The good news... For the next release, I have been able to start figuring out what I need to do to fix the Vampire Lord problem ( when you come out of vampire lord form NPC's will not see you as a vampire ), , fixed the whole "eyes and hair etc don't want to stay the way they are and allow you to change them " bug, and other bugs just like these....

 

The bad news is.... sigh, it will be my first release NOT compatible with my previous releases. You will have to make a new character, if you install my next release, your old Celestial will turn into a Nord, and any time you come out of Vampire Lord / WereWolf / and other such things you will be a Nord again, and would have to use showracemenu each time to put yourself back as a Celestial.

 

Doh.

 

*EDIT* P.S : If it helps any, I have begun restructuring the facegen file paths so you can use any Head or .tri you want when making a Celestial. I also will restructure naked body. Only paths that will stay the same are the forms. This will make the mod compatible with other mods like enhancedcharacteredit, any body mesh ( for when your naked ) you want, etc.

KNOWN BUGS / ISSUES:

 

If doing Dawnguard and becoming a Vampire Lord' date=' leaving Vampire Lord form will make all the other vampires in the castle treat you as though you are not a vampire. You can solve this until I can fix it by opening your console with the ` key and typing "player.setrace CelestialRaceVampire" ( without quotes ). I have removed all the ugliness that goes along with being a vampire, so you will not notice any change to your characters appearance should you do this.

Or escape immediately from the Castle, go any Inn sleep +24h come back to the Vampire Castle.

All Vampire in the castle are friendly now.

Well one, thanks so much for the compliment, but you will be happy to know that first video was just Alpha 1 testing. I've never been happy ( and I know a LOT of others are not either ) with the stretched deformed neck / hands and rather brutish animations of Vampire Lord Armor replacers, SOOOO, I've started work on fixing that :) I will have a new video up in a few hours to show what I've been working on the last few days. If you thought the first video of Vampire Lord I posted was Fantastic, I think the next one will have you shitting bricks :P

Well as promised here is a video of Alpha stage 2, however today I ran into some problems ( melee combat is not working right ), hence it being an Alpha. Not really ready for release yet unless all you want to do is use magic as a Vampire Lord.

I've always wondered why the vampire lord, the two hands so stupid to keep up looking a Robot lol.

Your Idle in the Video is much much ...better then Vanila.

 

So i hope you release this soon :D

Absolutely love the weapons and armor! Might I suggest adding an angelic OH dagger? Also, would love BodySlide support, or just bigger TnA armor versions if possible!

A larger breasted version of Devil Form is otw with the next release. If your talking about JUST Celestial Armors, tbh I have not done really much with it since I started on the Race and the Transformations. Between the scripting / bug fixes / next release idea work. I really have not had much time to go back and go over those original armors. If anything I want to try and get my next Celestial Race addon done and then who knows, I might go back over them again as well :)

 

P.S I'm open to suggestions about an Angelic offhand when it comes to Celestial Armors. I wanted to keep both sets unique and couldn't find one I thought matched the Angelic Set. Skinning / texturing for me is not a problem, as well as .nif manipulation ( adding alphas, glow maps, etc ), but I am REALLY bad at making meshes. If you think you have an idea of what might make a good Angelic Offhand let me know!

 

P.P.S : On a sad note, I seem to be at a loss with a problem I am having with the Celestial Vampire Lord (replacer). Until someone with more know-how comes along to help me out, this might be one I may not be able to do without some help :( ( I do not have access to 3DMax and since my hard drive died my blender is none-working ).

That is so nice :D!!!

I started thinking about a mod like that.

But i didn't expected to find it.

You know that thought "would be nice a mod with this and that".

 

This is so sexy man!

 

But in my personal opinion in the last video the wings are too big.

I would cause a lot of clipping.

The video from day 07/12/12 has smaller wings maybe you could release both armors?

 

Also in beta1 the transformation have the char kind of raise and levitate a little. It was very nice too :D!!

 

Man this work is very good and so new.

I was hoping for more voluptuous versions of both, actually. Something along the lines of the mods here: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=8225 (Or bigger!) But no rush, the race project doesn't need to be delayed for that. (But you'd have at least one person loving you for doing that right after. :angel:)

 

As for the offhand, I think just a smaller, more dagger-like version of the sword would do quite nicely. Maybe have it reversed, like in this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2727

 

And a side note: Dual wielding swords really clutters the vision a bunch, and even 1 hogs up a lot of screen real estate. (At first, I thought the sword was a 2hander. :P) Maybe shrink the sword size and also make a greatsword version? It definitely looks sweet when sheathed on your back, but not very practical in practice.

I think the problem with that is when I picked the swords types, I am using different animations then you are. It never occurred to me this might be a problem, however, it would be next to impossible for me to check that the weapons looked good and played right with every type of different animation out there.

What about a shield for the offhand?

 

I've always had a dream that someone would use a bad @$$ looking gauntlet as the model for a shield. Such an appearance would keep your celestial form looking sexy, would minimize screen space, while still providing a utility (blocking) not accessible in the other form.

 

Also, I like the devil form's new armor, but think the red glow is a little over the top for a form that has sneak bonuses. You might consider changing the red glow to a black glow... if that's even possible.

What does it look like for you? I've just been using the standard first person animations. Didn't know there were mods for that. Oh, I kinda guessed that's what you might have been getting at. I tried playing in 3rd person to accomodate the mod, but I've already acclimated too much to 1st person. Would be great if you could find some time to help us 1st person players.

Maybe it is, I could even let you check it since my mod collection on skyrim is not big but I don't get how to export load order from Nexus Mod Manager, FOMM and OBMM is way easier in it.

 

Actually I'm sorry, I was really tired last night and made my response just before bed. I would have to say my first guess is that your Skyrim is not up to date. Someone else in this thread had this problem and it turns out that was why it wouldn't work. You will need Skyrim Version 1.8.1 or higher to use this mod. I thought I had made a correction under requirements on the main post about this when I cleaned it up, but I guess I had forgotten. I have done so now.

Every looked at http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=9333 the infernal armor from soul&blade I thought it would make a cool form added to the forms you all ready have.

 

Well I have no desire to add any more forms other then the (non)form coming in V5. Changes in V5 will be that you no longer get the Knight Forms when you start the game, but instead get a basic 4 piece outfit that can be equipped with a power. This outfit will also auto-equip after leaving a form as well. It wouldn't be to hard for you to replace the Humanoid armor with whatever armor you wanted it to look like. I'm making the changes for a few reasons :

 

Leaving a form to switch to a new one in the middle of combat most always results in your death ( your butt naked ). Now you will have some base armor on.

 

NPC's yell at you to put clothes on during transforms / reverts ( gets frustrating after a while )

 

I want people ( myself included ) to have the option to not always feel they HAVE to be in a form when playing the game.

 

I want the Knight Forms ( and some new powers, like a heal for bow users and a ranged sword attack ) to be quested rather then just auto given.

 

Note to EVERYONE interested, one of my kids birthday is next week, then the holidays etc, so while I am working on V5 and my VampireLord Addon Pack, work will be slow and sporadic and you probably won't see any new releases until sometime in January.

Hey did you you guys know it is IMPOSSIBLE to force equip a weapon in the left hand? I worked on it all day today ( human form should be dual wielding by default ) and yet found there is NO variable to do this, I can set a spell to equip in the left hand, but NOT a weapon....

 

Sucks huh?

 

The reason it sucks is because I wanted 2 swords to be auto equipped using Human Form, but alas, it was not ment to be...

 

*edit* you know what, now that I think about it, I might be able to force a shield equip though......
