Complain about Patreon creativity.

Before anything, no, this isn't a complain regarding how many Patreon pages are present.

I'm a Patreon user and pledge to many person.

My complain is direct towards the creativity of the animations themselves, which has been very lackluster recently. Fortunately not on all pages.

We have seen enough generic doggies, missionaries and blowjob. All you're doing is redoing them over and over in other places.

There is not much substance or flair.

Lupobianco animations are very good because they also have a story and a concept behind them. But most of other pages don't, they're so awfully boring.

Yup i agree support the good ones, however i dont see why we should not cajole the bad ones, and kick out the patreon profiteers, or profiteers full stop.

To be fair I think his/her criticism is pretty valid. It's one of the reasons I stopped being active on Patreon.

I mean just look at Mary Jane's latest work on Kinkyworld:

That is pretty impressive and unique. I was moderately curious about the new cumshot effect, but, going on Patreon, I quite often see the same titles.

 

Anyway @Fernandez I suggest trying out Salarmoj and Zorak, those are pretty creative pages.

Yeah that I agree. Again, around july I stopped all my pledges because of also this reason (and others as well).

I was mostly pointing out that such sentiments are understandable and I too would like an improvement in creativity, that would spark my interest in WW again.

OP's example in Lupobianco is pretty solid, as Lupo's works have always set scenarios.

Creators are capable of interesting ideas.

However. They seem to stay in their safe zone.

I love if they show more interesting ideas.

I'm tired of seeing doggy animation and blowjob animation over and over agaib.

If your tired of seeing the same old same old you could start making your own and then start making them how you think they should be done.

 

So  either 

 

1.) Stop supporting the ones you don't think are up to your standards or

2.) Grab that torch and start doing something about it by making ones that are up to your standards.

There's not much to do except what the staffer has suggested but the OP's post has some validity. But I'd also play devil's advocate and the animators that do make polls for the animations on what they should work on the masses choose the same old same old, I always vote for something different but those never come close to majority vote. I also think we are also victims of how fast Sims 4 got a sex mod in relation to when Sims 3 got one. I think in Sims 3 we were only 3 EPs from completion and Sims 4 it happened so so fast. Once I get time as 2018 has been a tough year IRL I will try my hand at animating as there are some things I want they don't make but that's all you can do.

Same case here.

Back then I was more frustrated with the masses than the animators themselves. It's like, they are unaware the vast majority of these options already exist, but they hadn't downloaded the corrisponding package / didn't know the animation already exists, so another doggystyle it is.

Also to add, they may not be what you're looking for in animations but Yrsa does get creative in the animations that he/she makes.

It's not easy to please everyone and you'll find that many animators got into creating for a specific interest,

Animators here get very little feedback on the things they share and most request seems to center around rape and pets which it's clear that none who animate currently have little or no interest for,

You don't like an animator don't support him it's easy. No need to open a thread because there is too much missionaries animation...is someone forcing you to download them ?

 

People make animation because they want to, and are kind to share it here. What's the point of your thread ? People are not doing what you want ? You want original animation do them, stop complaining and open blender it's easy.

Well, creating complex animations is not an easy thing and we creators take many of our hours to make them, I create animations based on what I would like to see and therefore I have not found in the animations of the other creators.
However you can choose to support that creator or not, I do not see why complain about the Patreon pages  for example I'm really grateful that there are so many creators and we share our work among us, nobody asks for money, the choice to support remains single individual.

I dabble in lots of creative things. I've even done some 2D animations. There is a LOT of work involved in animating and it can take hours to make a minute long animation of a single character. That's just in two dimensions. Three dimensions has the extra tedious task of needing to look good at all angles that can be seen. It's far from easy to make a single character move naturally, and I'm sure many animators here would like to take breaks from complex animations that involve objects and multiple partners.

 

Would I like for there to be more interesting animations? Yes, yes I would.

But short of making them myself I need to remember those good animations take monstrous amounts of time to complete. I have NO gift for 3D animation, and it'd take me months to learn in my free time, and it'd take a few years for me to even be good at it.

 

If you'd like to see something, maybe make a suggestion of what you'd like to see made and hope someone takes it up.

 

Critiquing animators on their work is good as long as it's constructive and not demeaning. Let them know what you appreciate in their work and point out things they need to work on. You'll more likely get someone willing to listen to you then.

Well OP seems to be specifically mentioning Patreon creators. People sharing their work freely, like E404P, these guys are saints ?

I've just started pledging to the animators that take requests on higher tiers, and put in detailed ideas for what I like. The polls are dumb, because most pledgers are dumb, so if you want something good, you gotta dish out more. Who knows, maybe putting in creative requests will get the animator to be more creative for their poll ideas..?

First of all, I like to say THANKS to anyone who has tried animating for the Sims4 and decided to share it with others.  If you want to see different things sometimes it is good to find a .gif file of what you want to see, this is sometimes helpful in the polls because other people see what you want and choose to vote on it from there.  Also it may be good to talk to the animator directly to see if the type of animation you want to see done is possible, sometimes they may get inspired by what you share, especially if you have something they can reference from.

Lol. Topic is about patreon and you say they are "kind to share it here". It's not sharing, it's selling using EA products. Most of them don't even respect "the two weeks behind paywall max then it should be shared free" rule. Heck, some of them even keep animations behind a paywall.

 

Kind? No, not really. They want your wallet no matter the quality of their animations, because some of them are LAZY work. I mean, if the quality was there yeah you can ask money for it, but when the quality is copy/paste, lazy as hell, I think we can complain.

When you upload content on LL it's sharing. 

Someone breaks LL rules ? There is moderation, notify them with specifics information.

If a bad and lazy animator can have money for his -bad and lazy- work, good for him.

I won't blame him. If stupid people have too much money ain't his fault.

 

The thing that piss me off is the following, why the guy who never posted anything on LL.

Start a thread to complain about patreon, if the guy is a patreon he goes complain on patreon not here.

This is just a troll thread and it should be locked.

Yeah I see your point.

There should be more civic ways of suggesting ideas to Patreon creators.

Actually, come to think of it, it would be awesome if there was a dedicated thread to creative ideas to pass to creators.
