Everything I've tried has worked once it was installed properly. The white dress for Marie also affects Kasumi but other than that, nothing seemed to be weird or broken.

The same way as DMM but they go in the Steam folder?

Right here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DOAX-VenusVacation\Mods

and the D3D stuff goes here with the .exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DOAX-VenusVacation

The file needs to be renamed to that exact name! All the files in that folder dont have any file extensions.

But remember to keep a copy of the original one!

No file format. Just delete the extension entirely. All that's required is the name of the file. I managed to do the same a while back with a wmv file. Renamed it, removed the file extension, and pasted it over the original (Backed it up first ofc). Worked fine.

I can't get the Hair Color mod to work. I've only tried with Tamaki however.
Can someone please test the mod to see if the problem is on my end or if it is the file itself that's outdated?

Update: SR_White Dress Marie

 

I made a very naughty/lewd version of the beautifull white dress for Marie and Kanna.

The "old" version is still included, Just activate it and you will get the normal version with just the panty, while the dress is missing.

Or you leave it with this version.

Kasumi and Misaki got this SR as well, but I haven't edited for them yet. Maybe I add it later.

Also this version only works with Marie and Kanna having bigger breasts.

I've tried the Hair Color mod again but this time with Marie and the issue is still there. Fortunately I came across user ausgeek's suggestion to change "if z" to "if $costume_mods" in the .ini file and that solved it for Marie. 
However when making the same changes to Tamaki's file the problem still persisted.

I'm not a modder, so I can only make assumptions here. Could it be that the .ini file is not pointing at the correct data to override it?

The Marie mod should work! Because it does for me and I thought I updated it in the thread.

But I need to update a lot of files, so I am not sure when this will be done. Sorry

Yep I agree with the default body on marie being the normal one. It's fine to have an option but people normally expect just the clothes to be changed in a costumes folder.

Does anyone happen to have the latest config setting for the Square Bikini nude mod?

 

I'm getting the age old error with it not working at all on the Marie Rose body type, and the bug with the nipples and crotch missing from the other body types.

 

I had to re-install and redo all the mods (hard drive went out Sunday), so I'm trying to get everything working again.

 

I have no doubt my issue is caused by the config file not being the most up to date one (I'm using the one from the initial download back on page one).

 

Everything else seems to be working except for this.

I just re-uploaded the d3dx.ini file

It should be working with my latest all in one pack, because these are the exact files that I use.

This d3dx.ini update fixed the Steam version on my system, but didn't fix the DMM version.

 

EDIT: Fixed it...by taking the file out of the game folder and then just dropping it back in. 

 

Yeah...I don't get it either.
