What's probably happening here is that he's got a bot running his pricing, such that the prices goes up as stock lowers, usually on a exponential curve - obviously that breaks down with items like this. I can't see how much feedback this seller has from just the image, but if it's in the tens of thousands, I doubt the guy manages everything by hand. Software in invaluable in such cases, even if it's cheap stuff which gets weird sometimes.
