Taking screenshots of different body textures from the same angle

I want take comparison screenshots from the same angle of a few different normal maps to make it easier to spot differences.

I saw that in a few body texture mods the comparison screenshots are taken from exactly the same angle and I'd like to know how this is done, since when you save and reload the game the location of the tfc camera isn't saved. (Example in Spoiler)

Is it some mod or is it a feature of one of those photoshoot places mods like Aether Suite or Nausicaa Photo Studio?

Is it really that hard to position the camera in about the same way several times? I can't think of anything that does this for you automatically- though, it would be kinda helpful I guess. The only thing I can think of is to preset some coordinates for you to use, but, I'm not sure how you could do this. Console commands maybe with a bat file?

why do you want to save and reload?

you can just equip an armor with another texture

there's bodychange for that, put whatever you want in the folders, and switch to that from the mcm menu

Bodychange is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much :)

Why do you even need a plugin mod or fire up the game, if Nifskope BSLightingShaderProperty texture path is made exactly for it ???? ?

why don't you try what you are talking about?

body mesh have shader skin tint, game load the race armor textureset on that

For Bodymeshes, the textures in the Nif are irrelevant.
This is done with TextureSets in the ESP / ESM - depending on the race.

This TextureSet is set as a SkinTexture in Armor of Body.

see Astrid: There are not two Nifs with normal texture and with burnt texture.
It's done with TextureSet.

oopaibiru wants to see   "a few different object space map textures to make it easier to spot differences in their details ". Why you all writing irrelevant stuff about CK ???

Prepare different body msn maps in 1 folder > open desired mesh in Nifskope go to BSLightingShaderProperty > BSShaderTextureSet >array index 1 (2nd texture path) choose whatever msn maps in that prepared folder if you want to see specific baked details in the body.

Because you do not want to understand it - apparently.

Instead of explaining it a third time - here the information as screenshots and then for oopaibiru, how to do it.

The body is made of 3 parts - Armor Addons for body, hands and feet.

Bodyparts:

Bodyparts.jpg.80a1129c1a8663041f8ca1961d78dc9a.jpg

Here you see 3 Armor Addons NakedFeet, NakedHands and NakedTorso.

This is for Humans like Nord, Imperials, Bretons etc..

You see, Show All is NOT checked.

If is checked, you see ALL Races and the Armor Addons for this Body.

Bodyparts_All_Races.jpg.c2f1dba6fa4025fc0216759ac46a4f94.jpg

Now, the Armor Addons - here as example the NakedTorso:

NakedTorso.jpg.44cbc1a2c996f41a0edc24c0ce7c5dd6.jpg

You see the Skin Texture for Female and Male?

This is a TextureSet.

TextureSets for Skin:

And here 2 different TextureSet's

You'll see, there are Diffuse, Normal, Specular, etc. - everything as in NIF:

SkinBodyFemale_1

And here SkinBodyFemaleAstrid:

TextureSet_SkinBodyFemaleAstrid.jpg.cc99a7b617c4dd02a44bd5e78e4e6b30.jpg

You can check it for Elves, Elder etc.

This is how the body works in Skyrim and so the textures will use it - always.
(In Fallout 4, material files will be used instead)

I hope it is understandable. If you have any doubt, show me the Nifs (with the textures in the nif) for Elder, all the Elf races, orcs etc. etc.

@oopaibiru: What can you do?

Create new TextureSets for: Hands, Feet, and Torso with new other textures.

Create new Armor Addons for Hands, Feet and Torso and use the new TextureSets as Skin Texture in these Armor Addons.

If it's for the head: Create a TextureSet for the head with new other textures

Create a new HeadPart (not Armor Addon) and use your new TextureSet for Head there.

Here are two examples for HeadParts: interacting with TextureSet is easy to recognize

Both use the same nif.

Nord

HeadPart_Nord.jpg.1f9f3c8f791747180a0d6640c4ff6f7a.jpg

DarkElf

HeadPart_DarkElf.jpg.572986fc8998922dfbcb64af6dbaf3f6.jpg

If you done with ArmorAddons (and optional with HeadPart) create a new Armor, set the ArmorAddons and Slots.

You can use the Armor SkinNaked as a template.
BE SURE TO CHANGE THE ID.

Give a name, add keywords for example ArmorClothing.
Give a weight, armor class and value if you want.

And if you want, make it craftable.

In the game you can then take a pose and dress in the same pose the "body" armor.

He does not need to create a whole new mod to change body object space map texture for the body mesh with rigid camera pose! He can do it in Nifskope, just needs to open Nifskope and change textures to see the difference in body details by his eyes own eyes. If he wants to create equipable body meshes, that's a different story, that he didn't mention in his post.
And you don't need to create a texture swap list for this effect either. Nifskope shaders can do this fine.

SPOILER CAN HARM YOUR FEMININE NATURE !!

First - sorry - of course I should have used spoilers.

And here again to the actual question - and less your interpretation of the question.
I mean - every idiot knows how to change textures in Nifskope - but what does that have to do with the question?

Can you make a screenshot in the game in the same position with other textures (regardless of whether normal, speckular, diffuse etc.)?
With change in the nif?
I leave you the answer to this question.

And here again the question - as a reminder.

PS: My note about Headparts is only relevant to races, not armor.
@oopaibiru: Ignore the points with the head.
