How to be modder

I have playing skyrim for a long time. I wasnt active forum user but I love loverlsab really this site is heaven for me. This week I set up my skyrim with mods and started to play but something was wrong. I was spending hours in showracemenu because I cant satisfy myself with my character look...Then I decide to learn modding and spend time to progress as a modder because I can! I mean I have free time this year I can focus it and work on it. There for I searched google about guide's but literally I couldnt reach any potin. I checked yotube and there was some playlist about creation kid but I know its not what Im looking for ..For a example  I want to create body textures/meshes(I dont even know you can create those Im so noob about those thinks its just example)

 

I dowloaded blender(its free) and fallowed blender guru guide. But I stil dont know Im doing it right or wrong..I dont know which program I should use or where to start. Can you guys please help me to start as a beginner because I need it your helps...I want to start but Im lost...

If you asking how to create mods:

You will probably want the creation kit which you can download from steam by going to the tools tab under games.

 

The creationkit wiki is required, it has some tutorials on it that can be helpful.

You will at some point probably need to extract some bethesda files so youll need this

I use the nexus creationkit forum if I ever have an issue I just cant figure out for the life of me.

There is a nice, although slightly incomplete, blender animating tutorial that helped me get started in animations.

Best advice I can give is to take some time to read through the different script functions available on the creation kit wiki, it can give you some ideas about how to do certain things.

 

Edit: I forgot to mention, in the skyrim data folder, theres a zip file that contains all the source scripts.

Also, youll want a script editor since the one built into creation kit is kinda terrible for me. I use Notepad++, but there are apparently others that are better depending on your preference.

 

Edit 2: Ok, so i'm attaching my edited SkyrimEditor.ini that should allow your creation kit work with all the DLC's. Just drop this in your skyrim base folder "SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Skyrim"

First. Blender is one of the best 3d modeling programs. But it is not very good for Nifs. For Skinning I would prefer 3ds or even Outfit Studio.
But before you can really create a new body or create morphs with Blender, you'll need a lot Blender experience and technical knowledge of creation engine, skeleton, and nif. Especially if you want to edit the head.

 

Since you did not write which mods you use (for character creation) and I do not know what is expected in detail - some basic mods:

 

You need SKSE 1.7.3: Link

(use the archive version)

 

XPMSE Skeleton: Link

 

Then Race Menu: Link

 

BodySlide with Outfit Studio + CBBE Body (i would recommend for the beginning:

BS + OS: Link

CBBE: Link

 

 

You find the following on Nexus - use Google or another search engine.

Mods for Details like Eyes, Brows, Makeup, Hairs.

Examples: Eyes, Brows, Makeup, Hairs

 

And maybe Tattoos, other Skin textures. But, it depends on your body type
