Guest Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 These plants are HIDEOUS and are scattered EVERYWHERE in skyrim. Are there any mods that remove these plants or is there a way for me to delete them all?
Eden Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Bad news the farn is game essential if you delete it you will destroy the games ability to render textures.

Unless using mods like Flora Overhaul, Tropical Skyrim or Mods in that direction. Do you have such kind of mods installed? Not addressed to elsexyboygian: Oh see there, a fern/a tree in the distance - closer - no it was just bullshit. Damn LOD.
Grey Cloud Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 The OP must have made a real good job of modding his game if ferns are the most noticable thing there.

Vanilla BSA in Skyrim are slower than loose files. This is due to the outdated compression. Uncompressed BSAs are just as fast as loose files but better because: - Mods can also be easily installed without mod manager, activate, etc. - No files will be overwritten (which file will ultimately be used in the game depends only on the loading order) - Memory management is more efficient - less problems loading saves A good way to make Skyrim more stable and faster is to unpack the Vanilla BSA and recreate it as uncompressed BSA. There are tools for this (like BSA Browser etc.). I use the Archive.exe (comes with CK)

Did you? what do you see above? the copy paste of my mo folders from last to first, zip back in bsa and vanilla bsa aren't slower than loose files... all grass texture have transparency transparency top right of that texture is the same as transparenry lower left of that texture it's the same transparency there is in the next texture and all that same stuff, become a link to the first one in the bsa (that's... compression) there is an impact on performance in old topics about that that performance impact, it was loading your texture from there, and loading the link of the similar stuff from somewhere else that was useless turn for your harddrive you can also read some blabla about defragmenting your harddrive for performance another problem that no longer matter if your game is on a ssd
