Greenfight12 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Hey All, I seem to be having a weird issue with a couple of the quests. Whenever I grab the spell book from Varon Vamori's house to cast on Ardaline, I don't get a spell of any kind. Instead I am given a quest telling me that I have picked up the book "Song of the Alchemist" and am told to go talk to Claudette Perrick. So I am unable to pursue Ardaline and also Ita Renus (I assume) since I don't have the spell. Since I don't have the Song of the Alchemist, Claudette doesn't activate although if I then grab Song of the Alchemist she does. I went to an earlier save and went and got the Song of the Alchemist first, instead of the book in Varon's house. The Claudette Perrick quest still activates and runs, but when I goto get the spellbook from Varon Vamori's house afterwards, still nothing happens. I am running a fresh character that has had this plugin running from the beginning. Any suggestions?

Spell: Ardaline's Ardour, yes that is a bug the book have a wrong script. I had not noticed till now. The right script is missing. If you have Disposition 70 or higher the first diaold Option is "What's wrong?" and she says "Oh... well I guess it can't hurt to tell you. I'm due to attend a wedding in Cheydinhal in a week and I don't have anything to wear." second Dialog: "Go on..." She says " Well... there's a nice dress in Divine Elegance, all the way from the Summerset Isles. But there's no way Samuel and I can afford it." third Dialog "Well that's too bad..." She says: "It makes me sad just thinking about it." If you have not bought the Dress, you get no new Dialog. If you have the Dress the next Dialog is "Look at what I have for you..." She says "Oh my! That's the dress I wanted... umm... Is this for me? I can't take it from you. It's must have been so expensive and I can't pay you for it."

SquallLion1 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 excellent Quest! i use the vanilla esp file * I notice 2 bugs (script): -Countess Arriana Valga Valga her stewart send the missive but even the missive is read (to use the trap door in the chapel undercroft), the countess talk with the player ( ' you want to know....') but the greetings is missive (vanilla dialog) -countess Millona Umbranox: the spell (imageofCorvus) doesn't work -Ardaline: idem. more exactly, the spell doesn't appear so, the next quest (with Ita Renus) can't start *conflit : -LoversProstitute (Bruma Inn) : the Owner is not the vanilla NPC -Bruma Guild : in the main quest, they will be dead (not really a conflit) -Romance Eyja : the dialog works but the vanilla Eyja comes in the manor (so 2 Eyja) * spelling error (guide): Rosentia Gallenus (not Gallena) Alves Uvenim (not Uvenium) * quest (guide) -Claudette Perrick: steal OR buy the book (The song of Alchelmist) -Agnete the picked : forget the book. pick 2 bottle of 'cheap wine' in order to get the 'headache message'

Some of the thieving based vanilla missions could be tweaked so a female character can use her charm to get to what she needs, like the quest to get evidence for the smuggling thing in the Imperial City, or maybe trade sexual favors for good standing in the guilds, etc.

My character can't progress along the Arena fights after winning the first fight because the reward dialogue never plays in favor of the quest starter dialogue from this mod. I don't want to start the quest right now, so I tried setting the mod priority lower, which completely took the dialogue options away. Is there a way to get the reward dialogue to play first using Tes4Edit?

( by a script) "I have heard that Owyn, the Blademaster at the Arena in the Imperial City, is going through a bout of stress. If I decide to join the famed establishment at some point, perhaps I could pay him a visit..." If you reach stage 20 in the ArenaDialogue "Die Arena" [QUST:000E0C91] Owyn will have the new greeting. "What is it maggot? Give me one good reason I shouldn't paint your insides over the bloodwork's walls right now!" A: You can continue the dialog till you get the quest update "I have offered to "help" Owyn with his stress problem. We have arranged to meet in the arena training room at 11 PM..." Now you can continue with the Arena quest ( you can ignore Owyn, he will wait every day at 11 PM in the training room. You can talk to him in the training room one year later ) B: You can change the "greeting" condition to a higher Arena quest stage. stage 40 Arena Champion stage 50 won the battle against the Gray Prince stage 100 Grand Master of the Arena

And Slammmer64 Links are not broken ( only the Link in post 1 with the old 1.1 version, but not in his post 85 . There is also version 1.5 (be called 1.15 ) ) But all without the Ardaline's Ardour book fix ! See my post 127 ( version with the most quests is ger4 Version, he added some more quests to the 1.15 version ) There is also a version 1.15 with Younger, Hotter Faces ( post 133) If you use XeoSP++ why not change the NPCs in ger4 Version yourself ?

fejeena Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Eyja ? Skingrad player house ? Did you leave the UpperFloor ? The dialog conditions only reset if you leave the upper floor, then she goes back to her default AI. If you talk to her again she has all Vanilla and Lovers dialog options and the LoversSituatuion dialog "Meet me in my bedchamber, Eyja." If you use "Meet me in my bedchamber, Eyja." she goes to the upper floor and now she only have the LoversSituation Greeting "Am I to service you again, my lord? It's been all I can think about, when I touch myself at night." and you have only one choice you can click "Take me in your mouth?" ....and so on . If you want to stop the sex you must leave the upper floor again. All the quest have no "Stop" dialog, you must leave the building/cell or if sex is outdoors you have to reach a certain distance to the NPC.

That sounds okay. Most quests works that way. After some dialogs you can have sex and there are 2 or 3 stages/dialogs. The last stage/dialog you can repeat. You end the quest when you leave the cell or the building. ( there are no "Thanks , I'm done" dialogs )
