I have question about the Skjorta quest:

Got the hint from the weapon smith in Bruma about Skjorta´s drinking habits, talked to her in the "North Winds" store, got the mead. Afterwards she always replies she´s got a headache and no more dialogue options. Oh yes and she goes down to the "Tap and Tack" instead of the "Jerall View" inn.

 

Similar bug in Skingrad when it comes to Agnethe the Pickled´s hangover: Empty space without any coversation themes.

 

Any solution?

I tried this with and without several race mods and the "Younger hooter NPCs" mod, not the "Younger, Hotter Women" mentioned in the OP. Or did you mean this one?

 

Another point to set right: Now every NPC has got the dialogue option "What brings oyu to Bruma?" - Even in Leyawiin.

Still, this is a neat little PI and as a beginner´s work it is very well done.

Nepro: I'm leaving the Countesses for now, when I put something in place I want it to match their status and situation. There are a few wives among the current targets.

 

quasimodo75: Thanks for the bug reports, sorry you're having trouble with the mod. I found a bug with Skjorta that would cause the quest to fritz out if you were carrying too much mead. I've fixed it and attached the file below and in the first post. I can't replicate your "What brings you to Bruma?" bug, could this be from another mod?

 

I can't replicate the problem with Agnete, I'll walk through the quest and maybe we can pinpoint where it goes wrong

 

Agnete

 

This is how I play the quest:

 

1. Talk to Agnete to get the quest.

2. Go and buy 2 bottles of cheap wine from Two Sisters Lodge

3. Go back and talk to Agnete

4. Follow her upstairs

5. Talk to her again to initiate sex.

 

In order to get the conversation with Agnete you need to have two bottles of "Cheap Wine" (DrinkWine0Cheap in the CS) in your inventory, The quest stage must be "10" and the the NPC you're talking to must be "AgneteThePickled". There's not really much to change on this one, I checked the conversation options and they're all ok. I tested with 1, 2, 3, and no bottles of Cheap Wine and they all worked as expected.

 

If you can drop the console down with ` and let me know what the output of these commands are that would be great:

 

GetStage aaExAgnete

ShowQuestVars aaExAgnete

Player.GetItemCount 37F7F

 

If any experienced modders what to jump in and let me know what might be wrong that would be great.

I think those problems look like a loadorder ones. Some other mod contains records for those NPC's, and is loaded after the Extortion, so it wins a conflict wars.

I wasn't going to release a new versions buy I found a few dealbreaking bugs.

 

If you talked to Maeva or Rosentia whilst they were outside then the quest wouldn't fire. Also Luciana seemed to think everyone was the Gray Fox and would sleep with them regardless.

 

All fixed now, I also added Ursanne Loche as a new target.

 

I've renamed the mod LoversSituations since it's now more about creating lore based situations where sex is the outcome. I've stopped putting the versions number in the filename, it's in the mod info now.

As usual with story mods, I loaded Situations as last in mod sequence, the only ones following are LoversIdelAnimsPriority and LoversAnimObjectsPriority.

I found the "What brings you to Bruma?" bug. It was a stray bit of dialogue. I've removed it and updated the file in the first post. No new quests though.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I've just checked both Irene Metrick and the chest on the ground floor of Renoit's Bookshop and both items are there. It sounds like it might be a load order issue. The mod should be as close to the bottom of the list as possible. Other mods that modify Irene Metrick or the bookshop might interfere and cause these items to vanish.

 

You can determine if the game even knows the quest exists by typing the following into the console

 

ShowQuestVars aaExEstelle

ShowQuestVars aaExIrene

ShowQuestVars aaExJensine

 

I'd be interested to see what those commands come back with if the Jensine quest works OK and the others fail.

Thanks. Good to hear your issues have cleared up. I had help from zippy57 over in the modders forum and I have been playing with the CS on and off since Morrowind' date=' but never released anything.

 

I don't really spend enough time on anything to get very good at it. I've dabbled in modelling, texturing, level design and programming without any real results. Most recently I tried my hand at creating pornography in Source Filmmaker. I think it turned out OK.

I'm not sure how in-depth you want to make your situations, but here are my ideas -

 

 

When she asks you to save her husband, to start the quest you pick the option wherein you try to extort sex from her to save him. When she refuses, you leave and try to find some blackmail. Unable to find any, you decide to make your own. When you leave, a woman approaches you for sex -- you get an idea. You come back and offer her a deal: One date, and you will never lay a hand on her -- but she can't refuse anything you ask of her. She agrees, whenever you're ready.

 

What she doesn't know is that you plan to whore her out. How effective you are depends on how you prepare: You can pay up to three men to 'seek' out her services, you can also give her a skimpy outfit (this should just be any clothes you give her is assumed to be a super skimpy outfit), and convince at least two women you saw Tivela selling her body. What you do slightly changes the event and outcome.

 

1. If you don't pay any men, than you only get a single sex scene.

2. If you don't get her a skimpy outfit, no men will approach her (unless you paid them).

3. If you don't spread any gossip, no men will approach her (unless you paid them).

 

Do only one, and she only gets fucked on the spot and never again.

Do only two, and she gets fucked several times, you can fuck her at least once after you save her husband through blackmail.

Do all three, and she becomes your unwilling whore: You can fuck her whenever you want and you can choose to sell her as well (The scene from before basically becomes repeatable with some extras acknowledging Tivela's new reputation). You don't even have to save her husband!

 

 

I have more ideas, such as what you can do if you save her husband, but I'll leave it at that for now.

Yes' date=' that's the plan eventually, once I reach what I consider v1.0 I'm going to go back and add polish. At the moment I'm just trying to get more NPCs in there. Setting up the dialogue trees is the most time consuming part of the mod so I'm getting by on the bare minimum.

Wow, that's quite complex. At the moment I'm not touching any of the in game quests for fear of breaking them. I'm adding a followup quest after the fact instead. I've deliberately left Tivela for the time being as she already had content in the mod you mentioned.

 

My idea for her was to try something new and run a quest concurrently with "Brush with Death". Once you agree to save Rythe you can extort sex from her that way and once the quest was done you could continue to extort from her by threatening to reveal the source of her husband's work.

I'm currently working on a set of targets for the Arena Champion based on the NPCs that already have an interest in the Arena (Irene Metrick, Branwen, Dralora Athram, Elisa Pierrane, Pista Marillin). If I've missed any let me know.

It's an interesting idea, but it might be beyond the scope of the mod. I just wanted to create some lore related situations that lead to sex. Never say never though, I might get to the end and think it's a really good idea.

I've realized that Agnete's quest won't trigger at all unless you have the cheap wine. I'll have a closer look at it and hopefully it'll be fixed it in the next release. Until then I guess she's a bit broken

 

I haven't given up on making it so that the whole thing works without me changing NPC's in the CS, that way everyone can use any "Make the NPC's prettier" mod that they like without my work getting in the way. This is taking up time that I'd usually spend adding more NPCs.
