Knock on Riverwood!
So I'm testing things right now and I'm getting the old, "Can't get out of Riverwood", glitch...forget how to fix that because it hasn't happened for awhile...

You must have colisions with the mods from steam workshop with the mods from nexus with the mods from sexlab... and is not easy mix all and make it work...

 

Some of them can be un-updated or can be incompatibles.

You are mixing tails with yifiage with the normal animals and sure some collide.

 

The only solution that i see is try a NEW GAME.

If the problem happend in a NEW GAME start disable mod's until you get a combination that can be playable.

When you know what mods have the collision you can ask:

I have this problems with this mods... can be incompatibles???

Yep, I could see my first wolf but crashes before I could get it...wolfs are Tails so the model was a little big, but I could tell where the wolfs are fortunately... So I turned the player model and wolf overlay off

 

 

So Yes, up until I recruit all my followers with "FLP" and make a few thing at a forge and using items from "All crafting" mod(s), same thing when I try and begin in Witerun with Breeze' house, everthing in Whiterun is fine until I go to the inn and get Krystal and open up the Helgen quest, I leave the inn and it freezes...so I can't start in Riverwood or Whiterun house with the "Live another life" mod, Do I have to do these things over and over? Which one is easier to do? Riverwood start or Whiterun start? How many mods should I switch off at a time?

If it's just 2 files could you tell me the mods? If it was too many I would see why you would be silent with naming, but if its just 2 and you don't name them thats just stupid...

Is it a Zelda mod or a Kingdom hearts mod? Those are the only mods I was going for in the workshop...

I'll verify my files though...one question, should I refresh the mods first or verify first? Refreshing my mods means they stay installed but just going through them again like reinstalling them...

With 228 mods and LL account from 2014 i presume you have the stability tools.

But if you have Freezees and/or CTD maybe you miss some. Install this if you not have it:

SKSE Memory Patch

Crash Fixes 12

ENB in Boost mode

Load Game CTD Fix

 

Maybe you have some bad settings in the INI files. Try correct it with BetIni.

 

If you want follow the disable mods way for locate the problematic mod, you can disable half of yours mods and try with 120. If the problem persit disable half again and try with 60 until the problem disapear. Start enabling mods in groups of 5 or 10, not more, until the problem appear. Refine the selection until locate the offending mod.

All of this, of course, ALWAYS STARTING A NEW GAME, and deleting the intermediate saves that can be made for test.

BetIni sometimes works but it just help the INI not the mods themselves

 

For the last bit, I've done that for any mods for non workshop mods, should I keep all non workshop mods on while I do this or keep them off and just focus on the workshop mods

Then you must have a problem in base game. Theses are stability tools, maybe can say certified tools, used by thousands and thousands of players without any problem, exactly because are designed for SOLVE problems. Read my comenst over your quote.

Exactly for that is made BethIni, for manage the ini files of the game.

Some parameters of the ini files are too related to the stability of the game. OK maybe I'll get the Nexus Mods from the Nex but any mod thats on the WS and are still getting updated or subscribed then I keep those, I just took off another batch while sorting when updated, now if you sort by 30 items per page of my WS mods there are just 2 or less pages

load game ctd fix did weird things to my game and it's really not necessary

 

i'd highly suggest you CLEAN UP THE LOAD ORDER by merging the esps of similar mods (armors go in one, followers in another)

next try to group all environment mods together (ones that modify the world by adding new buildings, changing cells and such) and try to disable them one by one to test stability

if you have no idea which mods do modify cells you can open them all in tesVedit and see which esps have cell/worldspace records in them (and maybe even see which ones conflict?)

 

 

oh and by the way, do you use mod organizer? i should have asked this first...

+the origin of a mod should have nothing to do with stability

Right on the first reply...

 

Everyone says that I need to sort but I use LOOT and TES5EDIT/Xedit to sort and I thought they were always updated, and I am Bashing most of the esp/esms'

 

And right now only Wrye, because...it just works
