I do think now that I look back that he referenced the files as a "gift". At that point in time he probably had decided that he was done with it but he really isnt hitting on all 8 cylinders right now. I know he used to be very protective of his source code. If he put that out there then I suppose he is done with it and sooner or later someone is going to tinker with it if they havent already. If this is going to live on, it will be because it is promoted, followed and finished. It is too good of a mod to let die. If left in its present state that is exactly what will happen as you, Nismo and Awep point out and nobody wants that to happen. I would really love to see it work as well with AAF as it does with 4P and that will only happen if people who can do it stay interested in it. I think guys should put it out there and go ahead with everything you initially suggested. If someone can take it and make it work then it could be properly updated and released much as it was before. I do think that would be the best thing to do. You made a believer out of me
Guest Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Noone 'gifted' the right to modify and redistribute RSE. That remains my sole right as content creator and I do reserve that right regardless of my mental and emotional state. Just to be clear to everyone.

I would suggest a proper download page., in the meantime I'd be happy to host that, in the interim.

Cant remember who said it but you can have two identical machines that will play differently. I have witnessed that myself on occasion. That would be Yes and a No. From what I've experience. A base game with a single mod would be identical [fewer the better, to be identical]. The more mods [specially script based], the gap to be identical widens. Texture replacer without esp, works identically. Yup, you have a point there.

I can shoot you my AAF test load Test Load.txt which is similar to the FP set up. If you are having conflicts with SS, it is most likely an installation order issue. I had to back out to just the base game and DLC (my install was nerfed up something terrible), and after having Steam verify my files, I installed the unofficial patch, then AAF(or FP) dependencies, then animations, then framework (aaf/rse or fp/rse...according to their authors' installation instructions), then patches for animations, armor mods, weapon mods, additional workshop mods, then overhauls last (SS is technically an overhaul). since I did that, pretty much any conflict that arises is an actual conflict rather than a precedence error. Test Load.txt Edit: ignore the JasSanc and JasRed esps...those are city plan tests I am working on for SS. Well, I got the barebones to work. AAF combined with FP. Don't ask me how. It simply works. Ironically on my old save, the one I considered too dirty to experiment with anymore. A special thanks for your test Load orders. I even found a few new mods I wasn't even aware existed. Such as the flirty commonwealth. Thanks to all, who lended a hand. 1
Bluegunk Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Thank you for the update, Flashy. Keep on trucking...

Now when I hit the assigned key for masturbation and sexual encounters, my character undresses and the screen goes black for a second. When it comes back, I'm inside the character while the animation is playing. So now it seems, I have a camera issue. You should be in free cam mode at this point. Nudge the view and you'll leave the body. I often have this weird body experience until my first coffee... ?

It plays awesome with RSE's FP build's Ardor, though I haven't had much luck with 3.9.9.8's Ardor system. Going to see what Flashy's new build does.

Hanaxar Posted August 11, 2018 Author Posted August 11, 2018 Please don't post to this thread anymore and let's continue from the new thread @Flashy (JoeR) created. Thank you for update and the new thread. The link is just above, I won't copy and paste the link again. I'll keep this thread anyway because we have some useful information here like load orders etc. And again please don't post to this thread anymore, I'll rename it as "old".
