Non Removable Necklace on Followers

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have run into an issue in which most of my followers have the same necklace on them that is not located in their inventory. I would like to be able to remove it or hide it in any way possible. I am using HDT and EFF, I thought the necklace was some utility feature for those mods but the MCM gives no mention of necklaces of any kind. Amy help would be greatly appreciated!

necklace i don't know  if they gave in the MCM

i think necklace  in the default armor or in the body Armor

if you have CK  you can check this

Bow and iron arrow can fix   by use Ck

set in  "DialogueFollower quest"  and  remove default bow and arrows

you can set one by one  .ESP  of your follower

in the other way  use console

open console   and click your follower

and should      Showinventory    find  number id item  in your follower have

and use    removeitems <id item> 1

Crazycow's above advice should fix the issue. If however it still persists; put all of their items into your inventory and then open the console; click the on the follower of your choice and use "removeallitems" (without the "" marks). This command removes every item they may have on their person such as bows and arrows as well as including "invisible" ones; e.g. The necklace. (I encountered the same issue with ATF once). After that; you can give them their items back from your inventory and all should be well in the world :)

Do you have any mods that override outfits or leveled items (or a scripted one)?
Previously mentioned remarks with removeitem xxxx or removeallitems are correct - but possibly only temporary.
It would be better to know the cause instead of treating the symptom.

I am using ct77's armor replacer, and am using both a bashed patch for leveled list and a merged patch for the rest. Also, I am using immersive wenches which I think changes some NPC leveled lists.

This is the best option and the only that you must use, imo, of course.

Open the game cosole and click over your follower and be sure the console aim to your follower.

Type Showinventory and manage the list with pgup and pgdown looking for the item.

When you locate the item type removeitem <id item> <cuantity> and test the results.

As you know the item code you can go to your mod manager for know what mod add it.

The two first numbers/letters of the item code are the pluging code in hexadecimal format.

I have used ChronoTrigger's armor replacer for years. Those are not CT77 armors. I would first identify where you got the armors - it is likely to tell you why you have the pendants.

Second, what happens when you unequip that "HDT Havok Object"? If the pendant disappears then you know the source.

Edit: I get it. The armor is Celes but with the body I didn't recognize it (usually dark and gloomy). So not the armors.

Re: HDT Havok Object I would suggest looking at this thread here on LL. Eliminating the offending esp might solve your problem:

I found out that the offending item was the zz Estrus Onlooker Disabler, it had a bad editor id of 00091720. Do you guys know what it means? Also is it possible to hide the necklace from view while keeping the functionality?

Something doesn't sound right about that. First, the 00 at the beginning of the ID SHOULD indicate that it comes from vanilla Skyrim (which is clearly does not). Second the prefix zz is normally found on Zaz items but I am unaware of any ZAP item by that name. It may be time for you to download your load order so as to give us a little more to work on.

I, for one, have no idea of how you could "hide" such an item, that is, one you can't positively identify.

Sorry for the confusion regarding the id, the necklace id is 24022f9f and following after it said bad editor id of 00091720. I think that was an error code, also the item was from Estrus for Skyrim https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33102/ not zaz animation pack. I have included my load order below.

loadorder.txt

Thanks but I'm still confused. I took the liberty of numbering your load order and it gives 24 as XPMSE.

loadorder (3).txt

Probably neither here nor there, though.

I am generally unfamiliar with the mod but apparently the Onlooker function can be disabled in the MCM. You may want to look at flipping that switch and seeing if it gets rid of your annoying necklace.

Thank you for all of the assistance today. Turning off onlooker function in the estrus mcm did not work, so I settled on simply removing the necklace using the console command for the effected followers. Again, I am very thankful for all of the helpful people here on LL.

I not have Mod Organizer and not know exactly what is that file.

But is evident that have 330 lines of esp's and for that is not the file need for identify the problematic plugin.

For that, probably must look in the file plugins.txt inside the profiles folder of MO.
