loserguthrie Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Obviously, I'm a bit in over my head. I have a ton of screengrabs showing my issues. Nothing seems to register in the sexlab MCM. I'm getting the same problem a lot of people are getting (no animations) but FNIS seems to be working. I'm a complete noob to modding (like, started yesterday). Attached: 1) Priority order in Nexus 2) Skyrim file contents 3) Skyrim data file 4) FNIS report
loserguthrie Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 I ran FNIS last night and it showed the animations active (they weren't). However, they aren't showing it anymore. I moved FNIS to data file.
SirNibbles Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Juding from your screenshots it looks like you're running generateFNIS.exe from a wrong folder. The executable file should be in the "Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users" path, but it looks like you're running it from the "Data\FNIS Behavior 7_4_5-11811-74-5" folder. Those 2 folders called "FNIS behavior 7.4.5" and "FNIS Behavior 7_4_5-11811-74-5" shouldn't belong in your Data map though. You're stating you moved the FNIS folder? Which sounds a bit strange, Anyways I'd say reinstall FNIS using your mod manager just to make sure, and run the executable called GenerateFNISforUsers.exe from within the "Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_User" folder after reinstalling.
loserguthrie Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 Right, I moved it in an attempt to resolve the animation (or lack thereof) issues. I just re-installed (I use nexus). Still no animations and FNIS sexlabs framework = ?. I also get a mestion to start regarding "$UIExtention". This is the FNIS report now, but sexlab stuff isn't registering. It still shows "Animations 0 registered". I feel like i'm missing something really obvious.
SirNibbles Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 At least your FNIS log is correct now. In game did you make sure to install Sexlab (there is a first time installation which should be initiated from Sexlab's Mod configuration Menu). And in the options within Sexlab there's also something called "Re-register animations" you could try that too if you already had Sexlab installed prior to this.
ShivasBane Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Do you not need to check "Gender Specific Animations"?
Nazzzgul666 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Not in general. Like SirNibbles already said the log looks good now.
loserguthrie Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 Thanks for your help, by the way. I install sexlab anytime I boot up to try it out. For the first time I got a "defeat" animation. I notice I can get some ZaZ animations (pillory, etc) but nothing else. I selected gender specific and it seems to be working, but with some serious glitching. I'll look at it again tomorrow. I wonder if it's my computer processing power?
Zebot Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 you need to tick the 1st option (gender specific animation) o.O

As the other, smarter modders have had no luck so far. Let me throw some ideas at you. First, download Dawnguard, Dragonborn and the USleep patch. Since you have an error message to that effect you might want to download UI extensions (or change AFT to EFF because it contains UI extensions). Next, when you say that your animations aren't working what precisely do you mean? Or, in order to not back you into a corner let me ask it as a different question. No offense intended but do you know how to use your MCM menu for the mods that you've loaded? (As I said, no offense intended but you did say you were a noob). Your animation mods require you to turn them on via MCM menu. For instance, SexLab requires you to go to the first page in its MCM menu and press "Install SexLab whatever version). Until you've turned it on, in game, no animations will run. The same principle holds for all the mods that you have that run animations like ZAP, DD and SLAL. So, have you turned them on?
loserguthrie Posted August 9, 2018 Author Posted August 9, 2018 So I do have all my mods working and animating now, however I can't seem to get any other animations other than ZaZ. I'm trying to get Funnybizness' animations to work (Myslalpack v12) but can't seem to activate it.
loserguthrie Posted August 9, 2018 Author Posted August 9, 2018 Sexlab animations isn't registering anything outside of Zaz.
Psalam Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Spoiler 1 hour ago, loserguthrie said: Sexlab animations isn't registering anything outside of Zaz. I don't remember but I believe you have SLAL. You need to go to SLAL and register each set of animations in the MCM menu there. There are two steps (registering and something else) that will be on the MCM menu. Once you have done that all the animations that you loaded through SLAL will be registered in SexLab (thus, SexLab animation LOADER). You obviously know how to check since you know that all you have now is ZAP. Edit: Yeah that was enable and register.
Grey Cloud Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Can't see from your second FNIS shot but the skeleton should give 115 bones. In the first FNIS shot it gives 99. Reinstall if not 115 bones. Never let anything overwrite the skeleton. Do yourself a favour and get rid of the Random Alternate Start mod and install this ASLAL RAS hasn't been touched in years whereas ASLAL is still updated. What is SLPGN.esp?
Yetra Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 One thing that might help is installing Skyrim into your C://Games Folder (can set this option up in Steam, so it defaults to installing in there). Of course, this would necessitate removing and re-installing Skyrim. You could get around reinstalling all your mods by making a backup of your current Skyrim folder, deleting and then re-installing Skyrim to C://Games. After that, just overwrite this re-installed game with your backup and try fiddling around with stuff from there. Not sure what else may help as I use Mod Organizer and not NMM (and I'm a noob myself), but hopefully it solves your issues. Good luck! [May the Schwartz be with you]
