TheAxase Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Hello I have some problem with my armor replacement mod. The body is clipping with some armors: How can I fix this ? I try to open it in outfit studio but everytime it says me that the slider need to be at 0 or minimal... How can I import the armor AND my bodypreset in order to adjust the clothes ? Thanks
Azazellz Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Make armors first (press Build), and then open them ("Load outfit" when no Reference is loaded, or "Import from Nif"). Then fix the clipping.
KoolHndLuke Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Find the clothes or armor project in Outfit Studio and open it. You will see the base CBBE body as a reference. This is normal. Use the inflate tool on the front of the outfit's mesh to get rid of the clipping. When done, save the project and it will be fixed for good so you never have to fix it again. Close out BS and then open it again and your outfit will need to be built again. Check in game and do over to repair any more clipping.

Here is an example: daedrictorsof_0.nif daedrictorsof_1.nif daedricglovesf_0.nif daedricglovesf_1.nif ... I need to open all of them ?
KoolHndLuke Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 No, I meant the BodySlide file for each piece of clothing/armor that you build. If there isn't any, then you would need make one by starting a new project in Outfit Studio to conform the mesh to the body you use and then fix any clipping issues. Like if I wanted to change the DB armor, I would look for the DB armor in BodySlide first to make sure it's there. Then I would go into Outfit Studio and click on load project in the upper left of the window and find the DB armor and load it. Then make the changes I want to it and then save the project again. Close out BS and then reopen it and build the armor again to replace the old nif with the new one you worked on. It's always better to make changes in the BS projects themselves so you don't have to keep fixing the same stuff and replacing nifs in your folders. Does this make more sense?

I want to edit one of the remodeled armor from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25259?tab=files So... Am I supposed to import something from the mod in Outfit studio ? Here is what I found in the "Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide" folder of the mod: And inside the shapedata folder... : Is this the file you were talking about ? Sorry i'm not English and I don't know how to use Outfit studio so I have some trouble to understand
KoolHndLuke Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Slider Sets are what you open in Outfit Studio. Open up Outfit Studio and do like I said and you should be able to figure most things out. I'm just telling you what can be done. You have to mess around with things and learn. Once you learn you will be able to do these things quickly and easily.
Andy14 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Sometimes all Slider in Outfitstudio are fine, but if you combine several sliders in presets you become this clipping. You can fix this. Load your project in OS. But you need to set several sliders to 100 at the same time. For example DoubleMelon + Cleavage Activate this slider (set to 100) Highlight DoubleMelon and use the brushes for correction the mesh. Afterward highlight Cleavage and use brushes for correction the mesh. Both sliders - DoubleMelon and Cleavage must be active in ths time, so 100 (all others to 0). Another way - easier to find the affected slider: Load your Project in OS. Load your Sliderset in OS and find the Slider(s) the make this clipping by move the slider. But for correction is the same as above - all Slider must be set to 0. Only the Sliders at your work on must be active with 100.
