Vanilla Skyrim Choker & Earrings - with enchantments

Overview

This esp replacer adds enchantments to gomaperopero's mod.

Each of the choker and earrings got the enchantment of their vanilla counterparts. There are a few additional changes.

Requirements

You will need the original mod for it.

You still have to use the console or AddItemMenu to obtain the items, because no crafting, lootlist or levellist changes were made yet.

Installation

Download and install the original mod from the link above.

Download this Choker of Skyrim.esp and overwrite the original one.

Changes

added vanilla enchantments - They didn't have any enchantments at all, so I've added the vanilla ones.
reduced weight to 0.5 - because Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade changed the original amulets to 0.5
added weight 0.5 to weightless items
added missing keywords to Choker (but not the earrings)
Choker of Ancient Nord - the vanilla amulet has no enchantment, so I've added EnchArmorResistMagic01 "Resist Magic" (Magic resistance of 10%).
I wanted to have something like "shouts do stagger more easily", because Kyne (Kynareth, you Imperial scum!) granted the Thu'um to the Ancient Nords, but couldn't find it immediately.
Choker / Earrings of the Elder Council - same as the vanilla counterpart: no enchantment, but a value of 1000 Septims
Choker / Earrings of Articulation - added EnchArmorArticulation05 "Articulation" - the item is scaling in the original game, this will give you a flat bonus of Speech +20, which is stronger than Dibella with +15.
renamed Choker of Necromancer to Choker of the Necromancer - the same with the earrings.
renamed Eearrings to Earrings

Disclaimer

The original mod belongs to gomaperopero.

Make sure to unequip enchanted items before upgrading or uninstalling. Magical effects might get stuck on your character when messing with enchantments.

I didn't change the vanilla magical effects, so the enchantments are unballanced (e.g. +10 health), but thus are compatible with mods that change them.

It is possible to equip the same effect twice with choker and earrings, but I don't know how the percentages will be calculated. E.g. Talos 2x +20%.

Recommended

Divine Amulets and Daedric Rings - Upscaled Textures is compatible and just got released.

No Enchantment Restrictions - SKSE No Conflict for more enchantments options.

Automated Leveled List Addition if you'd like to craft or loot them on your journey.

Does this replace regular amulets, or just add the chokers as new items? A replacer mod would be sweet, but this is great work too.

That are new items and don't replace the vanilla amulets. So you can even wear your favourite necklace with it.

They're using slot 45 for the choker and 43 for the earrings btw.

Are these craftable or obtainable by normal means? the original says that they have to be spawned in, would love if i could find them

Craftable, buyable (you would have to merge it with your other lootlist mods by yourself, eg with Mator Smash or TES5edit) or as a replacer for the vanilla amulets would be possible, but I've never used the Creation Kit much and to be honest, spawning all of them in a chest is a little bit cheap.

Idk if I find the motivation to do it, because I'm renovating an apartment right now. And AddItemMenu is so convenient, in privat I'm fine with only exchanging the items when finding the vanilla amulet.

It is just another website to log into but with that said I am reluctant to log into a website with the misspelled name for bathroom cup.

Also the name of this mod could use some serious rephrasing. Something along the lines of "Enchantments for GomaPero's Choker & Earrings" would do.

I do also agree with the name, but I thought using the original name first ("Vanilla Skyrim Choker & Earrings") would be a prim and proper way.

@orengel999, you're pretty new then? I'd recommend installing a mod manager for your mods, for example Mod Organizer 2 (Videos), which can be used for both versions of Skyrim.

Install the original mod, afterwards my esp. Activate both. That's it.
If you're choosing the same names for the installation, then MO2 will ask you to merge both mods.

Hi @Sidea Lannister, the way to obtain the items was untouched by now, you have to use the console or AddItemMenu.

It appears that the unenchanted ear rings lack the keywords in order to accept enchantments. Giving them the same ones as a circlet would do the trick ^_^

Oh god, I didn't notice that yet, because of No Enchantment Restrictions - SKSE No Conflict. I recommend using that mod until I've fixed the bug.
