Can't enter the Ragged Flagon

I'm stuck with trying to enter the Ragged Flagon. Either through the entrance in the graveyard or through the Ratway causes a CTD. I have uninstalled some mods but have used the save tool to clean them. Before it would CTD and after loading it up again it would work fine. Now it's not working at all. I'm out of ideas. I really do hope that someone had this problem and found a fix for it.

Have you installed SKSE, ENBoost and CrashFixes? This 3 tools add a lot of stability to the game and solve a lot of problems. 

 

Verify your problem in a NEW game. If get CTD can be a problem in a mod conflict or a issue with load order. The way for locate it is remove half of yours mods and try with 90. If CTD remove another 40 and try again until locate the problematic mod.

If your problem not happend in a new game is a problem with your savegame. Try clean it with SaveGameCleaner or ReSave.

 

XPMSE must overwrite all and none can overwrite XPMSE. Is a know source of CTD. Re-install it.

Reinstalling XPMSE did the trick. I wasn't aware that it was a known problem with that. Thanks for the help. I don't use ENBs though. I guess I aught to learn how to use them.

ENBoost isn't an ENB as such, it is the memory management part. SKSE, ENBoost and CrashFixes - these three are a must if you want a stable game.

You don't have to follow their mods list, just follow it up to Step 2 Installing mods.

Nope. It's a semi-separate thing you install so your system will have enough memory to handle ENBs. Of course on a potato computer, you can just not install an ENB and the extra memory freed by ENBoost will instead allow you to handle a larger mod load - or, if you're running Skyrim off a truly pitiful pocket calculator - handle running mods AT ALL.

Try reading the links I provided, it's not fucking hard.

The problems with Skyrim are because it is Skyrim. Throwing $3,000 at it wont make much difference.

Nope. ENBoost is a memory allocation utility which helps with everything Skyrim.

There should be notification in the top left corner of the load screen. The red text is normal.
