NiaticLabs Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 So.. from what I gather, If I want to use the New devious device 4.0 updates I need to install Mod Org 2 so that i can get access to the 64bit zero of FNIS. ? Is that correct ? Im pretty confused here, since i cannot get the new version of mod organizer to launch FNIS 7.0; it seems like im forced to move to mo2. Is there anyway i can just move my profile / directorys so I do not need to reinstall all 250gb of merged mods again. Honest to god, if the answers no. I might just quit skyrim. That like 3-4 years of work getting this to be a stable game with a bunch of custom lines of code. I dont know if i have it in me.
Varithina Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Give this a try, install mo2 to where ever you want it to, the run it to make sure it is pointing to the version of skyrim you want to use, exit mo2, the go into your mo1 install directory and copy the mods and profiles directories from there into the mo2 install location, when that is finished restart mo2 and it should show all the mods you had installed, you would need to redo the links for outside programs xedit/bash/fnis etc but it should work and it will not affect you original mo install either so if there are problems with your new mo2 install then you can still play from the mo1 install.
LatencyRemix Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 If you can still find it somewhere. FNIS 7.2 had a 32bit download, which is what i use with DD 4.1 but i cant find it on the nexus to give you a link to it
worik Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Do you have any particular reason why you don't use the most current version of FNIS? v7.4.5 was it last time I checked for Oldrim. Fore is quite busy to add support to the various mod managers, as fast as he can. ... regardless what he thinks of them and how much he mocks about their bugs.
Uncle64 Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Latest Fnis do work fine whit MO2. But you can run in to trouble if you have Dropbox installed.

Thats what im going to try tonight, im hoping this method works 7 hours ago, LatencyRemix said: If you can still find it somewhere. No reason in paticular, i upgrade skyrim every few months when enough new mods come out to warrent it. This was just one of those times which is why im running into said issue. Ill look for 7.4 tonight. I didnt see it yesterday 5 hours ago, Uncle64 said: Latest Fnis do work fine whit MO2. But you can run in to trouble if you have Dropbox installed. Elaborate ?

I've got v7.0 and v7.2 32-bit. Let me know if you want either one.
LatencyRemix Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 I just tried this. FNIS 7.4.5 works as is in MO 1
NiaticLabs Posted June 13, 2018 Author Posted June 13, 2018 Well i did manage to get a FNIS that worked, I think the issues was animations and the new DD 4.1 update. It was kind of a headache and could not pinpoint the problem.. So, instead of fucking with it more... I completely the entire skyrim install - and rebuild the entire thing, from the ground up. So, im gonna move this to solved. Thanks for the help guys i appreciate it

The reason there were both 32 and 64 bit at one time was a mistake on my part. Unwillingly I had created a 64bit version vor LE. And since Nexus didn't want to let me change into another 32bit exe, and I didn't want to increase the version number, I simply made a 64 bit version in parallel. But since there were so many users confused about that step (as we can see here), I only made 32bit from there on. A 32bit FNIS works fine on 64bit Windows as well.

Took a little bit of re reading to understand but that was part of the issue, i also think skyrim just didnt like the amount of animations installed. Thanks for your contributaions to the community btw
