Awesome! I can't speak for Chic, but for me the fact that you enjoy Ivy is enough thanks and I'd feel bad for asking money for doing the things I love to make.

A good headset helps tremendously. I use one all the time. When Ivy pops off with something like "Meow, I'm a fucking cat. I can lick my own pussy", I can laugh hysterically and no one is the wiser.

Then she got knocked up... It happens.  So I toned the "crazy" back a little and call this "Mommy Mode".

 

 

A small extra, for anyone who also uses AFT.  I tweaked the "AFT_Alt_Names_Pack1" and changed the "Indiana" name option to "Ivy".  A very simple edit, but here's the replacement plugin for anyone interested.  All it really does is give you the option to label her (or any Follower) as "Ivy" in the Master Controller holotape instead of "Follower #".  I'm intermediate at best when it comes t FO4Edit, but this was so simple that I can't imagine I screwed anything up.  Working as intended for me so far at least

Your file works like a charm, any chance you might be able to post a step by step guide on how  you did it? I need about 10 more names add to that file.

I have downloaded Ivy. Although I have not yet enjoyed his company.
My native language is Spanish. At the moment I am translating for personal use. Although being so many lines, it takes time.
Perhaps, when I have fully translated and tested, I will offer this translation to the author of this great mod.
My Fallout 4 is voiced in English and subtitles in Spanish. And I have the problem that the voices of the Commonwealth's radios have no subtitles.
Therefore I decided to translate part of Ivy's Radio and I don't have subtitles for her either.
From what I've been watching while I translate, Ivy's radio is more than interesting.
Is there any way to enable subtitles for this Radio?
Or maybe there is some mod that does it?

The radio doesn't support subtitles unfortunately, so there's not a lot you can do. I don't know of any mods that add this. As for the translation that's awesome, but don't forget that version 5.0 is coming within 'a few' months, which adds another 2000 lines, quests and lots of extra radio work.

In some forums on the subject, I have read about people with hearing problems complaining about it.
So version 5.0?
And another 2000 lines?
On the one hand (My gammer side) is very happy for this.
On the translation side, just say: OOUUGGHHH !!!

When I discovered that subtitles didn't work with the radio, I downloaded your translation and tried it on my game.
Since they didn't work either, I did a little research on the web about Fallout's radios and then decided to write here.

Ivy is my favorite companion! The few times I've dismissed her, I've felt guilty for leaving her and went back. lol

 

Here is My Ivy.  I tried Chic Geek's voice pack, while fantastic and sexy as hell, it didn't really fit of how I expect Ivy to sound based on her robotic glitches, memory file recordings, etc.  The robotic synth look I'm using for her, in my mind, fits with the robotic voice better than Chic Geeks.

 

I'm hoping that the next version will still include the robotic voice.

Do you have any mods you personally recommend to be paired with Ivy? Housing mods? Outfits? Weapon or body types? On the subject of body types, what of CBBE body do you recommend be her body type?

Also, I still haven't figured out where I'm not supposed to take her. I tried taking her to med-tek but she had nothing to say there. Saw some mention of Hallucigen so I tried taking her there and other than complaining about smells she didn't really have anything special to say there. The only place she really freaked out was Croup manor where she said she THOUGHT she had been there before, but Croup manor and its basement have been home to ghouls for 200 years so I'm guessing she wasn't supposed to be talking that way there either...

Sorry for asking a lot of questions but I really like her as a character even if some of her suggestions to do with bobby pins are a little... Anyway.

I see you said not to use aft in the main desc am guessing it makes it difficult for her to freak out? any way I am downloading unlimited follower framework now... any recommendations for least intrusive follower mods? bonus points if they support extra followers and robots as I tend to build 1 in the start to be my back up gun

Ivy isn't supposed to be used with ANY follower mods. It was created for Ivy alone, only Dogmeat can be used at the same time. Any follower mods will brake Ivy and then you'll complain about Ivy doesn't work with UFF and @Reginald_001 will then direct you to where he said DO NOT use any follower mods. And I should know because I have wanted Heather Casdin to work with Ivy, actually the other way around but he's not changing for other mods. Which is a fair point since he created lives with Ivy.

Then you'll ask him if he could change it for the upcoming release or create a patch. Then he'll reply that he will not change or patch it for any follower mod to work with Ivy, and tell you again that he created it this way because Ivy (with the exception of the Man's Best Friend mod to allow Dogmeat) is the only follower that you will need.

So I just summed up what will happen, because we have pages of the same thing being asked and discussed. Like a broken record, or for ones that don't know what a record is, it's a never ending loop. My advice, if you want more than one follower, then don't download Ivy. If you want to experience Ivy, then just get Man's Best Friend and never use a follower mod when you have Ivy installed.
