Yeah, I got to second this one... very excited for this, too. So funky retro in a "Mars. Needs. Women!" kinda way, if that makes any sense, that fits seamlessly into the Fallout universe. It's a glaring indication Reg is a fellow Gen-Xer ? Love the vibe... quite entertaining when cranked up while cleaning the house lol

It was definitely one of those "B" movies (or perhaps "C/D"), that didn't have a long run in theaters. That one and the Slime People were, I think, the only ones I  hadn't seen.

Eagerly awaiting new Radio tunes. In particular, wanting to hear more from this WIVS band

Wow... how did I miss that?  I used to watch Mystery Science Theater all the time.  That HAD to have been on there.

 

BTW, Radio WIVS is a bit reminiscent of Special-X that used to be on XM radio.  Man, I heard an hour of that and subscribed the same day.  It was a tragic loss when they decided to axe it for more Opra and mainstream CRAP!

Special-X was the most Eclectic mix of music and "stuff" I have EVER heard.  They even played Parrot Training Records!  Yikes!

They had bloody awesome television in 80's and 90's but you had to look through the shite, before getting to the good stuff. As a kid I had a TV right next to bed, literally right next to it. And I'd watch all these vague European channels, SKY, some other channels I forgot the name of, that showed WWE for women (I liked that sort of stuff as an 11 year old) but also lots of good weird french, polish and german movies in this genre.

 

I remember staying up till 1 am in the morning, watching Emmanuelle movies on french TV... which reminds me.. I definitely need to add some Emmanuelle trailers and other soft-erotic trailers to WIVS radio. Awesome! How could I forget that!

Oh dude, Emmanuelle! I remember those on Cinemax (referred to as Skin-emax once it hit midnight, when all the adult shows would come on) when I was a kid. If I recall rightly, they had a few spin-off movies of the original. 

 

On ZAAT: I was particularly amused that the female ZAAT still has her lipstick on LOL Looks like they used one of those chew-able red wax lip candies you'd see at Halloween in the 70's and early 80s, and slapped it on the same suit... of course, what ZAAT doesn't wear Nike high-tops?? Oh I have to disagree. There are some real gems out there.. Pennyworth is turning out to be genius (Don't be MIS-TAKEN by the trailer for Pennyworth! Each episode it becomes more.. better.. it's really a unique viewing experience), Legion was 3 seasons of pure awesome (and if you haven't seen it it'll be your binge watch this weekend), Archer is great! And there are a few others out there. They don't reach the level of absurdity that those times reached, but they come close enough.

Hi, sorry to bother you but after spending all the evening to make your mod work this has been a complete failure Lol.

I've actually had your mod installed for quite a while but I decided only today to give it a run. I've had the quest and the radio station enabled from the beginning of my save, without issues (apparently) but when I decided to turn the radio on it never worked, and the quest log never updated. So I went to download the patch along with the voiced version of the mod (I had the plain, robot-generated voicing before I think) But now that the radio works, the quest doesn't appear now ! (bummer right ? )  Ivy is in her basement tho. So yeah, I tried to uninstall all my mods (via vortex) and only leave ivy's mod, start a new playthrough, but I only have the radio station (at best) when I get to Sanctuary... Is it because The quest appears later ? (I don't remember from my last playthrough, it was a few months ago) or is it a problem ? Thank you for your answer  .

 

PS : I also tried to gather the voucher even without the quest but she won't take it  It's so hard to find without the quest mark aha.

PSS : ChicGeek is still active ? Her Discord, Patreon and Twitter are not active anymore it seems...

Hi, this is very unusual, it seems to me to be in conflict with some other mod, try leaving Ivy as the last load list MOD

 

Also check if the download came complete, do not have an MD5 to check, ms seeing if the size of the original and what downloaded are already something

Chick seems to be going through a shorter time for her, so she should be back, we miss her too.

Well I tried to leave only Ivy's mod (and uninstall all my other mods) so I'm not sure if a conflict can still occur that way

Also there seems to be a small difference in size between the size displayed on the downloads page and the one I have in my own folder (195 MB and mine is 199) so I'm trying to re-download it right now and I'll see if it works better. 

Also for the patch, do you copy/paste the contents of the patch in the main Ivy's mod folder ? Or do you put the mod AND the patch in your mod manager separately ? (Sorry if that's a noob question lol)

Can you post your entire mod load order in an attachment. Ivy works for 99.9% of people out of the box so you're experiencing something unique to your situation, likely screwing up other things in your game as well.

I don't have text files, it's all in the ESP. Translators have to open the ESP in the CK, then go through the quests and dialogue like that.

 

It's pretty easy to override music, they're just XWM files in Ivy's audio directory, you can simply overwrite them with your own audio files, but you'll lose existing songs.

 

In order to add songs you'll have a harder time. There's a radio quest which holds the songs, there's a global variable which holds the amount of songs, and there is a script you need to adjust in both the quest fragments and the attached scripts. It's quite elaborate and explaining it would take 2 pages of screenshots. Intermediate level modding skills are definitely required.

I don't see anything strange, but I don't know if any of those override either Radio Station 99.96 or parts of Sanctuary, which could break Ivy.

 

You should manually save your current game. Then try a whole new fresh game, walk straight towards the root cellar in Sanctuary and talk to Ivy. See if that works. If it does, there's something corrupt in the current game you're running, which is breaking Ivy.
