Hello, I think I'm having a AAF Error on this animation pack, not sure?  Is there a patch I'm missing, or did I incorrectly install to get the following errors?  Thanks in advance...

Seeing that all your error messages are code 010 and related to positions, this thread might help:

 

My guess, you may have some other mods overwriting this mod's XML file. Either removing those other mods or editing this mod's XML files can solve it.

 

A good place to start could be "SavageCabbage_positionData.xml", found inside "steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\AAF".

 

Of course, your-mileage-may-vary. When in doubt, reinstall this mod and let it overwrite everything else.

Конечно, ваш пробег может меняться. Если есть сомнения, переустановите этот мод и дайте ему перезаписать все остальное.

Sounds like a Body Talk problem. Might be a incorrectly-sized asset called or something. I don't have this problem tho;

That is not an error, that is MO2's log, after checking the flags in the FOMOD.

If it's failed to install with that error, you need to enable AAF itself in your list.

Unpopular opinion but Nexus Mod Manager appears to be the better choice when it comes to handling mods like this one. Most of the installation errors this year seem to come more often from MO2 than from NMM. 

 

Then again, maybe it's just this old NMM user here flexing.  For anyone interested, NMM is still being maintained and updated regularly ?

 

How are you holding up, @SavageCabbage? I guess for myself and some others, getting any updates (even just verbal ones) from you would lift the spirit quite a bit during this surreal time.

Hey, I'm good. Mod release MAY be in the coming weeks. I've finished updating all old animations to use the new skeleton, including remaking some of the older crappier animations to better standards and am making new ones too. I'm tidying up the mod folder structure and will be giving it to mod authors first so they can get their mods compatible before I release on here, so as to avoid all the commotion from last time.

MO2 is NMM, but actually fully functional :P


Seriously though, I'd disagree. A fair few issues have evidently stemmed from Indarello's anim patch, specifically the FOMOD installer being wonky.
It's also not helped by people who've no idea how to navigate or use their mod manager at all, beyond "download mod, install mod, break game' at least.

I completely agree with you.Those who do not know how managers work will always scold mods.The best Manager for AAF and its mods is MO2.After all, AAF is designed specifically for MO2.

So, while we're slowly approaching the next update, one thing I'd like to bring up. A recent observation.

 

With FM animations played using furniture type 'Double_Bed_Wood_PreWar' the female model flickers from time to time. 

 

This is the furniture group in the XML file.

Also, this type uniquely has the following animations which the 'Double_Bed' group does not have. They are:

I don't have screenshots to show this flickering, but it is constant. The female's model would just have it every 15 seconds or so. Regardless, the animation works just fine. All other furniture types also work fine but without this bug.

 

I'd like to note that the similarly named 'Double_Bed' group does not have this problem. For some reason, 'Double_Bed_Wood_PreWar' is the only furniture I know that has this flickering thing.

 

 

update: Homemaker problem, possibly. Using a 'Double_Bed_Wood_PreWar' spawned with console command 'pt 18E7AC' solved the problem. What is v1.1's assumed Homemaker version? I'm using Homemaker 1.72, the newest version.

Hi not sure if it help anyone, read through the past 15+ pages of the thread without seeing a resolve (maybe I missed it?)...
For those that get the AAF Admin Panel Errors like these below from installing the SC 1.1 CC optional position data xmls:

Here's the edited position data xml for the 3 CC DLC SC 1.1 options offers: SavageCabbages Animation Pack 1.1 CC PositionData Error Fix.7z


These are the files that were causing the errors for me as I have the CC dlc and used the CC position data xmls that came with SC 1.1 .
Some of the SC 1.1 Optional CC position data pointed to the old animations from earlier versions of SC animation packs which were diferent forms/names which causes the errors obviously.
I just pointed the position data to the (assumed) current named animations is all.

These edits will get rid of the Error [010] being spammed by AAF 1.21 due to SC 1.1 Optional CC position data xmls.

I haven't actually been to the in game CC dlc locations to try them out though, but the SC 1.1 [010] errors are rid of in AAF 1.21 admin panel at least (for me anyway).

 

I don't use of the other settlement mod options from SC 1.1 so if those are giving errors these edits will not help.
Obviously this will not correct the SSC 1.1 warnings [085] for animations shorter then 350ms in AAF 1.21 Admin Panel (which I'm not phased about as they are mere warnings).

 

 

Overwite the existing SC 1.1 CC xmls in AAF folder with the one for this archive.
Obviously you only add the ones you have the CC DLC for :)

I have this list as a .txt file, so I can copy/paste these to console. pt is short for "place there" if my memory serves me right. My guess is no. Objects built using console command are not registered as settlement objects like those built by Workshops are. It's just a hunch, though. Maybe someone will prove me wrong.
