aep AEP_Career_4.8.3 - Bug Update- December 4, 2025

Hi, 

 

I'm new to this so sorry if I sound like a 'noob'. I have installed AEP, RedAppleNet (including 1 office) and Sugarlife.

Most of the features work just fine but when it's time to go to work at the red apple net office my sim 'goes to work' but stays at home so she doesn't interact at the office.

I tried traveling her to the office before work starts but still no co-workers or boss will show up.

 

At the Sugarlife I am not able to use the new features like the sugar social interaction on the computer, or the social interactions.

Except for the above the mods work fine but I don't know what I can do or what I did wrong that this doesn't works, I hope someone can help me!

EDIT: there are employees now just no boss...and no matter how long i stay on the phone, it doesnt count as an hour

One question is anyone having problems with going to work with your sim. Just on the AEP Pornography mod? I have the RedAppleNet mod too and the venue and that mod seems to work perfectly fine. But when it comes to the AEP it seems not to work. I downloaded the venue and also I did the bb.moveobjects when I was in Build Mode and I placed the venue on the lot, and it seemed not to work no matter what, I even redownloaded it a couple times. I don't know why it won't work. Will someone help?

I wish i knew  i downloaded the 700mb file but i dont know if that's what made the difference

I got the call for the photoshoot but it never happened. The time came and nothing happened.

same problem with the lot registering like 2/0 sinks- meaning objects are there that are required but the games reading it wrong saying it's a problem that the required objects are there. Also on a previous save when I had the Studio working and operable and still onto this new save I get the call asking to do an interactive shoot or whatever and then it's never followed by a call in the evening or anything more

Basically, click on a treadmill (might work for other equipment) and choose the "keep in shape" bubble.  I'm pretty sure that when I used it a while back that the "keep in shape" bubble was on the first layer and not nested in another bubble.  As to why it's not working for you?  I'm afraid I don't have a clue.  Since you also tried a gym, I imagine we can rule out special modded devices.

first of all thank you for this mod i really enjoy!

I have a problem maybe you can help me out.

1. I can't interact with the recorded vid on the vivux.

2. After first call for invitation of photoshooting, the second invitation is not triggered.

Do i need go to work and get famous to run this?

Those DLC are listed as requirements and I've read on this forum that things don't work without them.

Hello! The Public version is always updated and I keep it in working condition. What problem exactly do you have with the camera?

Hello! Did you read the instructions and put script file no more than one folder deep in your Mods folder? If yes, try to look under the Web menu or try different computer?

The bug "appears" to be with the venue type?

 

Any thoughts on where this might come from?

Hello! The problem you're describing appeared specifically after new game patch that prepared game for Tiny Living or University pack, I don't remember. After that all creators updated their mods and problem was fixed, but older version of the mods became incompatible with newer version of the game. That's why the only reason for this specific problem is either not updated game or some old versions of the mod you have in your Mods folder.

Hello! Exclamation mark above your building signify that your lot is incomplete. You might have not used bb.moveobjects cheat before installations or installed it from the world mod instead of the build mod. Anyway your building is missing some objects, so you need to check building requirements to see what items are missing and place them manually.

I've been reading almost every page of this thread, trying to identify a solution for my issue, but with no luck - so hopefully you guys can help me!

 

When using the designated camera to film a naughty video (even getting the notification and buffs related to the camera), and then ending the recording after some time, naming the recording and opening the 'storage' of the camera to move the file to the editing desk (I've forgotten what it's called, the one from Get Famous), then it doesn't transfer. It stays in the camera instead of being transferred. 

 

Any ideas on how to fix this? - there's no mod conflicts (I've checked that already)

Hello! There is no FAQ?, but there is installation instructions that says that  you can't put script files deeper than one  folder inside your Mods folder, That probably the reason for your problem?

Hello. Update your game and look for and delete old version of the mod in your Mods folder.

Hello! It seems to me that all your problems are caused by the fact that you put script files too deep in your Mods folder. The game can't read them. No more than one folder deep. Just put straight into your Mods folder without any subfolders.

Hello. AEP is not active career mod, you can't go to work with your Sim. Please, for the love of God, read the description of the mod you are installing?

I solved the problem in my own scope, used the code and one item was missing in the building.

People, I'am sorry if I was a little harsh in my last answers. I hate rudeness I'm always trying to be polite and I'm always happy to help. I also understand that not all people familiar with the modding, and they need  a little extra help with simple issues, again I'm always happy to help.

BUT.

 

I'm tired of answering same questions again and again that can be answered by simple reading of installations instructions to the mod. I WROTE THEM FOR YOU. PLEASE SPEND 3 MINUTES  AND READ THEM. How can you install something without reading what you're installing and how?! It's not a game, it's a mod, it has a lot of nuances and it can break your game sometimes. I'm a modder and I read all instructions to the mods I install for god’s sake?‍♀️

 

Anyway, I'm sorry for that. I had a hard day and I needed to vent my frustration after answering same question after same question all evening. Please don't be afraid to ask for help (after reading instructions), I'm not evil witch, It's just a scream from the heart.? The worst part, I know it won't have any effect, but at least I feel better now? Sorry everyone?

You're only human, as are they. But since you're the one having to read peoples complaints/errors that could have easily never occurred in the first place makes your job harder. Their job is easy. Just read and be kind.

 

You're doing your best. Don't be too hard on yourself.

You seem pretty kind to me but even nice people have limits. And sometimes you have to remind people that you're a human on the other side of the screen and not a robot.

Hi. First, I want to say that I really love this mod.  And so far it has worked very well for me, except for the issue of staff at the photo studio swapping out mid-shift, which I know you said you're already addressing.  I have only one little issue, and I'm feeling very stupid about it.  During the photo shoot, there is one task entitled "talk about best poses," and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it.  I have tried clicking on and interacting with every employee of the studio, and I cannot find this interaction anywhere.  It doesn't seem to be in any of the pie menus.  Is there a specific Sim that this interaction has to be done with?  I can complete the shoot on gold without doing that particular task, but the completionist in me is irritated that I can't figure it out.  

Thanks for your hard work! This mod is obviously a labour of love, and it's fantastic!

I know the mod description uses only female pronouns, but does it still work with males? and if it does, is it going to use the sims' gender or is it going to be using female pronouns? Also, are gay interactions available for the mod?

Hi! You can use with males no problem, I made it as gender neutral as possible inside the game?

Hello! Thank you for kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying the mod! You can find this interaction if you click on the Photographer in the photo studio. It should be under Photographer pie menu. If it's not there, please let me know?

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, it's not there.  I only have one single interaction with the Photographer under his pie menu, and that is to buy photos. It's literally the only thing listed under that menu.  I kind of thought it made sense that he would be who I would talk to for that task, but the option is not showing up.
