What does this mod do?

In short, when someone (or some *thing*) comes inside you, you take configurable radiation damage.

 

 

Why would I want this?

I originally envisioned SGTG as a complement to the radiation-based armor slot stripping in FO4 Nude Basics. It seems as though that mod is currently unavailable, but perhaps someone will make another version of the same idea in the future. SGTG would also play nicely with rad morphing mods, causing body changes as a direct consequence of sex. Another consideration might be pregnancies from Family Planning Enhanced (original or Redux), whose unborn babies will require healing for all the additional radiation. Or you could just let the radioactive creatures of the Wasteland terminate your unwanted pregnancy...

 

Beyond those niche cases, SGTG primarily just adds another negative consequence to sex in FO4. Maybe you want certain combat defeats to be extra punitive, or for your questionable sexual escapades to result in more than mere social condemnation. Maybe you play a Goodneighbor prostitute who wants a new reason to upcharge ghoul clients. Or, hell, maybe you just want an excuse to use the seemingly hundreds of doses of radaway that the vanilla game showers upon us.

 

 

Isn't there another mod with a similar effect?

Expansion 3 - AAF Content, for Advanced Needs 2, has an option to apply a small amount of radiation damage after sex with certain creatures. This feature never worked for me. In lieu of fixing it, I decided to craft my own version with better configuration options.

 

 

Features and Other Gritty Details

First and foremost, this mod only affects the player. I'm unlikely to change this aspect because substantial reworking of the scripts would be required for little gain. So if you always longed to play as a half-Supermutant who irradiates his enemies to death via sex, I apologize for crushing your dreams.

 

This mod should work regardless of player gender. Player must be the “receiver” to take damage. SGTG is independent of animation packs and works by listening for AAF events. At the end of an animation, it will apply radioactive cum damage per your settings.

 

Only the vanilla game is required currently. As a consequence, only vanilla creatures/races are natively supported. Other creatures and/or custom races can still deal radioactive cum damage if you select the proper MCM setting.  I tried to make SGTG as configurable as possible, and so it includes the following MCM settings:

Mod On/Off: Master switch that will disable radioactive cum damage entirely.

 

Allow Females To Cause Radioactive Cum Damage: If you're playing with some form of female-female impregnation, futa characters, or you just think vaginal secretions should be radioactive too, this option will let females cause rad cum damage. Off by default.

 

Damage Only From Glowing Creatures: Restrict damaging rad cum events to glowing creatures only. Regular versions of creatures will not cause rad cum damage regardless of base damage settings. Neither will any race type that lacks a glowing version (e.g. humans, non-feral ghouls, synths, etc).

 

Damage Multiplier For Glowing Creatures: Base rad cum damage multiplier for glowing creatures. For example, if a regular Deathclaw would deal 30 rad cum damage and your multiplier is set to 3, a Glowing Deathclaw will deal 90 rad cum damage. NOTE: This multiplier will be applied even if you enable Damage Only From Glowing Creatures, although you can set the multiplier to 1 if desired.

 

Random Damage Variance Percent: Maximum amount to randomly vary the rad cum damage. Variance can be either positive or negative. For example, our default 10% setting means a base damage of 100 rads would be delivered as a random amount between 90 and 110. Values will round down to the nearest 1 rad. Setting this value to zero means no damage variance.

 

Allow Radioactive Cum Damage To Kill Player: By default, SGTG will cap applied rad cum damage when 90% of the players health bar is irradiated (i.e. player rad amount is 900). Use this setting to allow death by internal irradiation instead.

 

Max Compatibility Mode For Animation Tags: The default mode searches for tags that positively indicate someone got penetrated (e.g. PenisToMouth, OviposToEither, etc). We do this to avoid being irradiated by things like handjobs, foreplay, or cunnilingus. However, tags are never perfect. Some are simply incorrect, like the Yao Guai animation tagged as PenisToEither instead of MouthToEither. Other times, animation patches will make their own adjustments and might remove or alter the tags SGTG looks for. Turning Max Compatibility to “On” causes SGTG to always apply rad cum damage unless it sees one of the specific blacklisted tags. Currently, blacklisted tags include kissing, hugging, cuddling, footjob, masturbation, spanking, dancing, and pose. (Note: I did not blacklist “handjob” because there are animations which include handjobs along with other kinds of penetration)

 

Radiation Damage From [insert race type here]: Sets the rads that will be applied to the player at the end of a qualifying animation with actors of this race. Please remember that rad damage works differently from health damage. Receiving 100 rads does not redden 100 hit points worth of your health bar, it applies radiation damage equal to 10% of your health. 10 rads would be 1%, 50 rads would be 5%, etc.

 

Radiation Damage From Any Race Not Listed Above: While I may someday circle back and include functionality for DLC creatures, I will never be able to account for all the custom races available. This setting acts as a sort of catch-all. Essentially, if you finish an AAF animation but SGTG doesn't recognize your partner's race, it will apply whatever rad cum damage you set here. Be aware that this will apply to ALL unrecognized races equally, from gulpers to night stalkers to vulpines.

 

 

Requirements

-Vanilla Fallout 4 (no DLCs needed)

-AAF with working animations. SGTG contains no animations of its own.

-Tags for your animations. I recommend installing AAF Themes. Alternatively, you can use animations that are tagged by the author, like those made by SavageCabbage (1.2.4+) and BP70 (2.7+). Certain patches add, revise, or substitute their own tags as well. You need properly tagged animations even if you intend to use Max Compatibility mode, unless of course you don't mind taking rad cum damage from spanking.

-Mod Configuration Menu (MCM), for SGTG settings and overall function.

 

 

Known Issues

-All valid actors in group/gangbang animations will deal damage even if they don't all penetrate the player. Technical stuff under the spoiler.

I cannot distinguish participants who are penetrating the player from those getting handjobs (or even just watching) based on tags and actor count alone. Tags for patched or staged animations sometimes include everything that happens in all stages. So you might see PenisToHand, PenisToMouth, and PenisToVagina, even though only two actors are involved and they both penetrate the player at some point. On the other end of the equation, there's at least one MMMMF animation where all four males penetrate the female. So the solution is not as simple as counting up each instance of PenisToXX or subtracting out an actor for PenisToHand, etc.  I have not yet thought of any solutions besides hard-coding for individual animations, and I'm certainly not about to invest that kind of time for a few edge cases.

 

-Glowing creatures don't all share any sort of common keyword. Some don't even have the “glowing cloak spell” designed for their race (seriously, Bethesda?). I tried to catch these cases by name but if you encounter any glowing creatures that don't cause the right amount of rad cum damage, please let me know so I can fix it.

 

-Under the hood, Bethesda's Gen 3 Synths all use the human race type. Lore wise, it makes sense. I mean that's basically the Railroad's whole argument after all... but for SGTG, it means prominent Gen 3 NPCs like H2-22, Z1-14, and X6-88 will be treated as human for determining rad cum damage.
