I was among the first ones here to regularly use directional blur I think. But indeed, when I saw how neatly Wanobi could do things in his temporal blur tutorial, and some of the last effects of Crw's, it gave me some good sources of inspiration to improve my work.

You're right about the core audience, there is a core of people who do follow/comment/like more regularly for each blog. But the variation of the numbers of likes could be interpreted as linked to how pleasant it is to read, and as such partly to quality. That's why I do care about it, even though I also enjoy creating story in themselves.

I think the episodes that had nearly everything were the remade section1. But that doesn't always directly translates in number of likes, sometimes there are more people browsing when you publish, sometimes less entries published at the same time, so it's a bit random too. ?

Actually Malicia's first chronicle does tell about a rape, but the protagonist has such a wacky way of behaving/seeing things that it doesn't feels like it's really one.

As I said I've got different types of stories, and so different amounts of NSFW content. Malicia's are the most humor heavy ones, with average sexy content. Cecilde's do feature less humor, but more sex. And finally, Tabrielle's stories are the most serious one, with a varying amount of NSFW, but also some of the violence you described (remember Urunach's way of executing prisoners ? ). So everyone can find something he/she likes, but everyone might not like every kind of chronicle.

It's Malicia that do first tell them. She says the Prince acts just like James Bond. And so, as James Bond isn't a Skyrim character, the kids ask her about him, and she simply explains in her own way.

As you certainly have noticed, Malicia tuned Sigil stones in order to display Loverslab on them, so that implies she's in fact familiar with our modern way of life. Just as Tabrielle in fact, when she speaks with Benor about pads and is remembered by this one that pads do not exist in Skyrim.

Obviously everybody has different preferences when it comes to media and content they consume and like.

For example, I personally don't like humor in general, only good humor.

Following your reply my next story entry (next week) will make you very nervous, as it is fairly large with lots of screenshots that take ages to load, is long to read and has lots of words (only the best words, of course).

After a lot of plain killing and dramatic scenes there'll be a romantic sex scene. (Unfortunately it takes place in a puddle of blood (but it's also pretty hot)).

LOL. No, it isn't targeting to you. I haven't had in mind anyone particular when I wrote my post. I liked yours and Trilog's discussion and I just felt to write why I do not read certain stories. I respect anyone's affinity, style and they way of presenting story, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.  If I would play Skyrim and make stories I wouldn't do it in Ivy's style at all, but that's her style and I'm OK. And, I don't like it. It's little bit sadistic for my taste. Just as the majority of LL like big butts and big tits, I belong to great minority who likes opposite. I didn't alter Stranger's hair color, that's his native one. His topknot's band is indeed red however, and due to our different ENBs he might look a bit different. 

Regarding Serana, I'm glad you noticed. Nowadays we see so much custom Seranas that a near original looking one looks like a rarity, and I think she's beautiful in her ways. Mine might change her hairstyle in the future however (how about she dyes it in red  ? ), to symbolize certain changes in her life.
