Hi folks,

 

I hope you're feeling better that me. I'm dragging a cold arround for weeks now, but I'm trying to stay healthy as good as possible. Doing something that is fun usually distracts me from feeling sick.
However, I loved to work on the fifth part in comicformat, so much that I decided to bring all the previous parts to the same lvl of quality. Also I screwed up all the links of the pictures in the previous posts, after I organized those pictures on the serverside. It was inevidable at some point but instead of ordering and relinking all of them again, I'm going to do everything from scratch. I see those old posts as a kind of script for the real thing. So, here you have Golden Cage Part 1, with completely new screenshots, new skyrimbuild, redone scenery, rewritten script and in comicformat.

Yeah, the layout and the story is great. Wow! Can't even guess how long that took.. I dare say that the format of the text is the best I've seen so far (it's a picture story - it may sound superficial, but what good is a story if it's hard to actually read because the letters are too small).

What you tried to do with the layout is interesting : you managed to create a surprise effect when introducing the vegetal/green woman ; a dizzying effect when she's daydreaming the first time ; and overall it's very fluid. :)

It gets somewhat excessive when you tried to rotate the images as well when she's daydreaming the second time (after Erikur leaving) though IMO, it gets a bit to destructured to be read easily. million_dollar_baby.gif

 

Anyway, great work. :)

It's hard for me, not to get excessive with that theme :P, but you're right.  Legibility should be first priority.

And to all, thank you for your comments :) Second part is already 12 sites long. I'm looking forward to release it

I correct myself: first priority = boobs and then comes legibility :P But a good story multiplies the "nosebleedeffect" ;) 

 

So I consider both equally important :)
