Confession time: I've never really been happy with Kallista's eyes. The texture I use always looked a bit too soft and almost seemed to glow. But since I don't really like making changes to a character's face once they're established in my head, I've avoided doing anything about it and just kinda tolerated them.

Today, that changes. I happened across a mod a few days ago called Elegant Beauty Stunning Eyes that had a few that I really liked. As I combed it in showracemenu, I took a second look at The Eyes of Beauty, which I've had installed for ages, and noticed there were a few in there I actually really liked as well.

I narrowed it down to four options. Problem is, I really like all four. I can't decide which to stick with. So, since Kallista seems to be the favorite of my characters among my viewers, I figured what better way to decide than to let the fans have a say. I will use whichever option has the most votes after... lets noon EST, Wednesday the 18th.

As a refresher, these are Kallista's current eyes.

Under each spoiler is one of the options, numbered 1 thru 4, corresponding to the option in the poll.

I look forward to seeing the results!

The dark silver eyes look the most realistic to me (even if they seem more blue than purely silver, it suits her well). :)

Realism isn't something I'm particularly concerned with. If it's a criteria that matters to you, then by all means vote that way, but don't feel like you have to.

Gotta go with 4 here. As said before, they are subtle and realistic with a hint of mystical power that I'm sure SCREAMS when she is angry (and it's fitting, since she is the Dragonborn). Number 4 for me!

The good thing on relying on someone else to do a choice, is that one suddenly realizes what he likes or not. Don't be afraid to make your own decision if you think you've finally got the choice you like, it's your character after all. ;)

Oh certainly, I reserve the right to do whatever I want with my character.

I wouldn't have made this poll if I wasn't honestly having a hard time deciding, though. I'm going to be happy with whatever gets picked. I know this because I tried for fifteen minutes, looking back and forth at each option, trying to narrow it down to two or three choices instead of four, and I just couldn't. Each one has its merits. There's no real cons to any of them. I only brought up realism not being an issue is because I didn't want people biased against 3 because 1, 2, and 4 are all much more realistic.

I do find it funny, though, that the eyes made using actual scans of eyes are being called the less realistic of the bunch. Swiftstep outright called #1 unrealistic, and you yourself said you found #4 the *most* realistic.

It's the blatant color and the glossiness that makes the others feel less realistic. Sure the B&W texture itself could be copied from real eyes, but if from there you alter completely the color and specular gloss you significantly deviate from that reference. ;)

I picked #3 for it being one of the two less reflective ones. I actually like the old one best out of the whole bunch though.

Poll's closed! Ran a little over because life is life and so on, but it looks like...

...well whaddaya know! After straggling early in votes, #3, Crystal, came from behind to overtake the early favorite and most well-liked in the comments, #4!

I'll be applying to changes shortly, keep an eye out in the future for her new ocular look!
