The Story of the Red Witch
Chapter Two: An Introduction to Reality
Part One
Liri didn't know how long she'd been chained to this wall, but with each passing moment she could feel herself getting weaker and weaker.

Having gone so long without food or drink, it was all Liri could do to stay awake. She could barely cry out any longer, and knew it would be fruitless anyways.
???: Hahahaa. Seems like Silas's pet is finally at her breaking point. I must say, she did last longer than the other wenches he's brought around.
Liri: W-wa...ter... please....
???: Ha! You think a meaningless mortal such as yourself has the right to ask anything of me? Of Tinira, Alpha of Clan Volsitkar?
Tirina's words struck at Liri's heart, and for the first time and a long time, she was afraid. She wasn't dealing with any ordinary folk, these people were...
Tirina: That's right child, I am a being of the night. A vampire as you mortals have so chosen to dub us.
Tirina: Your people think us violent, think that we're evil. You mortals believe that we are beasts that feed upon you indiscriminately because we're strong and you're weak.
Tirina snapped and Liri's restraints vanished. Suddenly gravity took over, and it was all Liri could do to prevent herself from smacking her head into the stone floor.
Tirina: But that's not always the case. Sometimes we're merciful. Sometimes... we hold our baser nature back and lift you mortals up, even if it is solely for our own enjoyment.

Part Two
Tirina: Now then mortal, rise and pledge yourself to me! Thank me for graciously ending your suffering and releasing you from your bonds.
Liri: (I'll rise alright... I'll rise and take you and that arrogant maid down a peg or two!)
Liri hopped to her feet and began gathering as much magicka as she could muster. She knew she had to end this in one attack, because she wouldn't get another.
Tirina: Oh? Fiery, an admirable trait. Although you'll have to be properly trained it seems. Go on, mortal. Do your worst with whatever that light show is.
Irritated by the vampire's jibs, Liri released her magicka at once and watched as... nothing happened. Shock and then fear set in as her biggest attack dissipated into nothing.
Suddenly the collar around Liri's neck sent lightning up and down her spin causing the mage to quickly lose the feeling in her limbs...
Part Three
Tirina: You thought I didn't think you'd try to attack me? You thought me a fool? Face it Nord, we'll always be a set ahead of you and there's nothing you can do to stop it.
Tirina: You're ours now. And once Clan Volstikar sets its fangs into something, its theirs forever. There's no escaping us Liri, so you needn't try.
Liri: D-d-don't get too c-c-cocky, bitch! I'll k-kill you! And that ma-ma-maaaaAAAAAAAAHH!!!!
The constant shocks to her system became too much for Liri, and soon after she began convulsing she passed out.
Tirina: Silas... this one is indeed different. But I don't know if that's a good thing for us or not...
Tirina took one final look at Liri, and departed from the cellar, leaving Liri behind to writhe in her torment...
Part Four
Liri didn't know how many hours had passed when she woke up, but neither Tirina or the maid were anywhere to be seen. Groggily, Liri got up and began looking around.
Liri: Gods... is that what I'm doing to people? I'm surprised people even last half as long as they do. That's torture, brutal fucking torture!
Liri tried to get the feeling back in her limbs, and when she felt well enough she got to her knees and was welcomed with a peculiar sight.
Liri: They actually left the door open. Hah! They actually believe that a display of power is going to keep me locked up in here.
Liri: Then again... maybe they had reason to be so arrogant. Even if I escape, it's pointless if I can't get this collar off...
Liri went to remove the collar, but as soon as she yanked at it the collar tightened and began choking her. Not wanting to fall pray to the collar again, Liri quickly stopped resisting.
Liri: *cough* *cough* Trying to free yourself via *cough* choking yourself... not the best idea you've had Liri... *cough* *cough*
Once she had gathered herself, Liri unsteadily made her way out of the cellar. Looking around it did indeed seem like they had left her alone in this grandiose, to Liri's standards, place.
Liri: There's no way I'm anyway near the Rift... not unless Maven's done some refurnishing since the last time she had me over...
Liri: Anyways, I've got to get out of her and gather my strength. No telling when those harpies will come back and dig their talons into me...
Part Five
Liri made to what she believed to be the ground floor and almost broke into tears when she saw what she believed to be the way out.
Liri: By the Gods... Just a little further and I'm free from this piece of Oblivion.
As banged up as she was, Liri made a break for it. She wasn't fast and she didn't look pretty, but Liri was able to travel the distance of the room almost instantly.
???: Hey! What do you think you're doing? STOP RIGHT THERE!
Liri was just feet away from the door when something compelled her to stop dead in her tracks. She knew it had to be the collar, but she didn't know how or why it was happening now.
???: Now then, that's a good bitch. You see? When you listen to your Big Sister Aere things don't have to be so difficult.
Aere: Anyway, what in Talos's name do you think you're doing? Who gave you permission to go outside? Go back to the cellar before the Masters find you!
Liri: I don't know who you think I am, but you will NOT order ME around! You may know my name, but it seems I'm going to have to remind you of what I'm capable of.
Aere: You're going to create some harmless sparks like you did to the Mistress? I heard she had a good laugh afterwards.
Liri: You know what? Screw you, your Mistress, and this place! I'm out!
Part Six
Aere: *sigh* I don't know what the Masters see in you. You're uncloth, unkept, and in desperate need for a good training. But none of that matters...
Aere: Because you will COME TO ME AND BOW DOWN BEFORE ME LIKE THE INSIGNIFICANT WORM YOU ARE!
Liri: Ha! You think that raising your voice a bit and pointing is going to make me do as you say? Gods...you're crazier than I tho--!!!
Suddenly, just like before when she was compelled to stop at the door, Liri began walking over to Aere against her will.
Liri: (Argh!! I... I can't... Why can't I control my body!?!)
Liri stopped in front of Aere, but did not bend her knee. She was grateful that she had enough willpower to fight whatever was doing this to her.
Aere: Looks like the little slut doesn't understand her position yet. I said, KNEEL. DOWN.
Liri: (No, NO! Stop! Fight it! Don't bend down! I'm not this weak, this helpless! I'm the strongest mage in the Rift! I'm--!!)
Liri plight was ultimately in vain. She couldn't fight against the magic that compelled her to listen to Aere's whims. They'd taken her magic, and now they'd taken her control over her own body...
Part Seven
Aere: Now then... You will ADDRESS ME AS LADY AERE FROM NOW ON! I and ONLY I am your master. Go against me at your own peril, but I assure that you won't live to do so again. Do I make myself clear?
Liri: (Don'tsayitdon'tsayitdon'tsayit!! DON'T SAY IT!!!) Y-y-yes... L-La... Lady Aere...
Once she had finished speaking, something changed about Liri. She finally knew that there was no escaping this place. Aere had won, but she didn't seem all too pleased about it.
Aere: Well... that was kind of anticlimactic. I really believed that you were going to put up more of a fight... Oh well. Now, what to do with you...
Aere: Oh I know! You wanted to go outside, right? Well Mistress Tirina wanted me to go get her new clothes from Radiant Raiment anyways...
Aere: Maybe sending you out there as you are might finally put some discipline into you.
Before Liri could protest, she was thrown from the house like a piece of trash. She never in her wildest dreams thought that SHE'D be manhandled like this. That she'd become anyone's slave...
Liri: Gods... This isn't happening... This can't be happening! Tell me this is just a dream...
