Gwynolda's story

Act I

Gwynolda's Daily life(7/)

Chapter 7

Jw1mtgx9 o

The next day comes

I60wwyj1 o

We are ready to soon start our journey to Old Hroldan

Wjkgnfod o

I will miss this old tower, we spent a long time here.

I wonder if it was used for something in the past, it looks like it was.

1czt6ldp o

It used to be an outpost of Markarth, before it pulled back it's military.

It's been abandoned for years, I used it as my refuge many many times if I wanted to hide from the Temple.

Lvx5drpt o

I wanted to ask for a while, but how did you get here in the Reach?

4iao1hge o

I headed north from Anvil to the Pale Pass

Ywbem0u6 o

Did you go to Falkreath or Whiterun from there? Both ways led to the Reach

Uuxcmv3s o

 Falkreath

Rt7fxpr7 o

I spent a few days in Helgen, to get some supplies and few warm night, before heading to south.

Luesdwtt o

Did you know Falkreath was once part of Cyrodiil?

2lwswwqx o

I did hear about it, but that was before the Empire united Tamriel.

It is a big city down in the south.

Hexgu6yz o

It is, sturdy, simple, yet a large calm city, quite charming on it's way.

Tzdfjgwv o

It is the center of Arkay worship in Skyrim, it also referred as Skyrim's graveyard nowadays, at least from here in the Reach.

Indeed

Ofek0m7b o

I spent a week in the city

2iemvebk o

Getting more supplies for my travels to Markarth

Kjeda0b4 o

Paying my respect to Arkay

Ujvq3tpy o

And to simply rest, crossing the pale pass was exhausting.

Swkbmnlh o

I have to admit

3vddpnyb o

This region in south Skyrim was certainly beautiful

Myhlch5x o

Reminded me of Cyrodiil, felt like home.

Bdhggibc o

Of course the weather was nothing like that.

Rk251fgp o

Storms, rain, cold winds

Ostz3wjp o

I quickly realised it was Skyrim after all.

92c3dkg4 o

Xa7pzdty o

I took refugee in the old abandoned temples on my way to the Reach against the storms.

X4gw5oxe o

After few long weeks

Qibezmmk o

I reached Markarth

7ufnqwqf o

It was impressive

Q9dcfl9m o

I only read about, but seeing the Great Gates of Markarth, was certainly an experience.

Ux4ofeks o

So how did you found me?

Qr4tk9sw o

How did you track me down to this old tower in the middle of nowhere?

Pugga9oz o

I been wondering for a while

You could just ask it anytime, since we meet dear

That is true..

I expected the question much earlier, but I'm glad you trust me

To answer to your question.

Lqajoxd5 o

At first, I just wanted get my bearings.

Hxsyw1ym o

Explore a bit, and think how to proceed next

4cyklvdg o

After all, I was all alone,

in a different province,

in a very different city

from everything I experienced before

Mentz1n7 o

I decided to rest and wait a few days before acting.

6x6jhalt o

I disguised myself as a mere pilgrim of Our Lady, to avoid suspicion.

Aqz8mkqj o

My main goal is to investigate the Temple and its leadership, avoiding the eye of Hamal and her allies was a priority.

75unjnuk o

I had no idea, who she was allied to, or what is the political climate of the city and region, I knew nothing.

Wfshqwls o

I remembered there was an application from someone here, you

A help, and someone who can guide me in the Reach, what I needed desperately for my mission.

Cs1n7ato o

I stopped by Lady Dibella's statue, gave a prayer.

Soblgb7x o

Hoping for any guidance, sign or help

Kjzui2do o

After the prayer, I realized, how much massive of a city is Markarth truly.

Nm07uux2 o

In that moment, I thought, it may take days or weeks, even months to find a girl who is our recruit.

Cfriulbh o

Markarth is one of Skyrim's largest city, no wonder you felt lost.

Few hundred years ago, it was just a small fort, that the Empire founded

U8msbwj7 o

Now, it is one of the biggest sprawling cities in all of Skyrim

4lixkwle o

From the ground to the Sky.

Oud4k5ab o

Despite all the might, few decade ago it was taken by the tribes of the Reach, nobody knows how.

I'm sorry, I got taken away, please continue Jeanne.

Ohhh, don't worry dear, I would love to hear more about the Reach, but you are right, let us continue.

6qovvru4 o

As I said, I started to pray

Kthgbw0p o

Our order has a few ways to ask guidance from our goddess

Sadly without the Sybill, we serve and protect

D0vrl3wp o

It is only a blessing

V0icdazp o

It did helped me to calm down and concentrate

Xnegppxp o

I started ask people about you and get any information about your whereabouts and who you are.

Ngdqkgw8 o

From beggars to the

Oyrs99vd o

Innkeepers and patrons.

Etkjqjap o

I had my way to get the information, that I needed

72l2are5 o

Within few days of hardwork, I got a location where you may been.

Itcvdp7i o

I spent 2 week in the city

I have to admit, the stone beds were rather uncomfortable, and cuisine was interesting, not something I got used to in Anvil.

Ykjrzqbv o

I got used to the stone beds, but most travelers find it rather horrible, I'm not surprised you don't like it.

How did you got the information that easily?

I have my past experience dear, don't worry, I know how to make tongues loose.

W38jff9s o

And finally, I had everything to locate your little tower to find you.

The description of your look as well.

Mo7zngku o

Everything was ready to find you

9uftiops o

Now you to have your answer, took me a week to get to this location, and I'm not slow when it comes to travelling.

I do admit, I was surprised when you turned out in the tower.

What made you trust me when you saw me?

You are not a nord.

Ohh..

Intfzrkd o

That is?

An orc stronghold, Markarth relies them lately as border defense and garrison.

Ijgpcubr o

Looks like they have been building up in the past month, and the stronghold looks much more expanded, I guess Markarth probably withdraw more military and rely on orc strongholds and the military of its noble houses lately.

It's been a thing for a while.

They mostly keep things for themselves, but I bought some food from there, while we where here.

I see

Pnge2ywv o

I noticed you don't wear the roses anymore, where did you get them?

Ay2mlw8e o

From a shopkeeper

Qvjeho5k o

I was there to get some supplies for my travel to the Tower

J6cn2vjb o

He was a bit unusual

Klkg8cuh o

I didn't think about it a lot as people in Markarth were a little odd.

Idargoax o

He offered me a rose crown, along with a few roses

Rgtdp2t9 o

At first, I declined it, but I saw everyone else wearing it, so I thought, I just take it.

Cezhunif o

Why not, can surprise you with.

He said it is an Markarth holiday.

9t0r4ypw o

4owa6xav o

Mzngy1jv o

Iglufwye o

After all, flowers belong to Dibella, even the Rose, regardless Sanguine.

It can be Markarth's version of Dibella worship.

Atvmoyji o

There is no such holiday in Markarth, I never heard about roses and people wearing them.

Ohhh, is that so, how strange.

Maybe we should talk to him, once we are in the city again.

Uwcrobuk o

Either way, let us move on.

S4besmz2 o

So how did you ended up as a knight in the order?

Lnfsijl5 o

I was one of the few recruits for the Knights of Lily, from many others, I was deemed to be a good candidate. Unlike in the current case, they had much more choice, than one applicant like in your case.

Were you a priestess?

No.

M9dkwffr o

I came from a very different background, unlike the rest of the knights.

Military or clergy background is much more common in the order, as expected.

Fymkabnb o

I was born in Anvil, and as you know the city of Anvil is the centre of our Lady's worship in Cyrodiil.

Like Markarth in Skyrim, it was the home of the Sybills, as well the main base in the province of our lady's House.

It is also the home of the knights in the province.

Markarth is supposed to be a home for the knight as well?

Yes

Ticuz0hr o

I was chosen along with a few more recruits. one was a very committed knight of faith, the other was a priestess, and the last one was me

Fjvaesgd o

As you expected, along with the rest of the city, Lady Dibella always was my matron.

I was and I am a devout worshiper of our Lady

I always wanted to serve her and be a priestess of her, but sadly that position has a lot of.. applicants.

It is a great honour in Anvil.

Mhi9wqsc o

I know you may feel indifferent due to how Hamal's temple treated you, but the truth is being a priestess of Dibella is a great privilege and honour, and many wishes to be one.

Dpwoeumm o

I was from the lowest of class in Anvil, a beggar, sometimes much worse or desperate.

It wasn't uncommon to lose your parents, or simply just have no home.

Most of the City got destroyed in the Great War.

Yxjycsdl o

I did lose my parents, and spent most of my life in the street, begging, and stealing before.. I got a job.

Ryczoxh6 o

That job was an improvement over begging, but it had its downsides, but I had a home, instead of living in ruined houses.

What was the job?

Kmmcicwm o

Ahhh, curious are we?

Do you wanna get know me more my dear?

Of course.. you are my sister in arms.

Gzc5o7uu o

I can see the sparks in your eyes, but I will tell you a bit of my past to satisfy your curiosity.

Wmbiepyl o

Where shall I start?

L8ktg9xs o

I was a tavern wench or prostitute if you prefer use that word.

Qgpwbywy o

In a rundown little brothel of Anvil's great harbor

Serving the patrons, drink, food and..

9lf5ppun o

Satisfy their needs, if they had more coin of course

Hwbodh0u o

Sometimes orally

Dcdffd34 o

Ngfiqo5m o

Ykl8fqdx o

Sometimes simply just giving a dance to their table, like the other girls did.

Not all of them were that desperate as me.

Rzcyiv8f o

Rqga8xfp o

8ffpt4cu o

If they paid enough, they could had their way with me.

Jsbqu1un o

Xzwkvrtz o

Fqrjs1yf o

Jnzzzkrz o

Olt95mu3 o

Lot of wine and sex,

serving the scum of the city.

It was my daily life, what I did to survive in the city.

It was addictive in a way, at least the wine made me sometimes forget about my life that time.

Agmwnwcs o

So you were just a tavern wench?

Not the perfect Dibellan ideal you expected?

....

Not that I had much choice, I wasn't skilled that time, in magic, nor in combat, nor.. people wanted employ a dirty girl from the street.

I simply just wanted to survive.

Hmmmmfp..

Hridf62o o

But still selling your body and love for surviving, you really had no other way? That is.. just

You.. could been anything, but a wench

I would find myself in the prison cells quite fast.. where surviving wouldn't be too different from what I had done before. City guards weren't too merciful for anyone they caught at that time.

Hmmmm..

Don't be that moody dear, it wasn't that horrible, had some up sides, even if the downsides were more numerous sometimes.

Dgpcw0gp o

I often joined to ships and sailors, to see and explore the world.

After all, those men needed my services.

It got me money, and travelling.

Sxc2mtv2 o

For a price of being their toy during the sails, and giving your love and body for a few coin and sights.

You can't buy love for coins few my dear, I thought you know that at least as priestess.

....

Tzvpyvxk o

I entertained them with music, I learned to play with a lute along with many other things during my time on the seas.

4bnepage o

And I learned how to sing.

Sjmojh2z o

Of course Music and dancing wasn't always alone.

Zsb8wumi o

Xex4revk o

Sometimes they needed the carnal pleasures to keep up the moral and entertainment.

Lczzfx7s o

Don't put up that grumpy face to me dear, sometimes you can idealize a person too much, but once you get know them, it may shatter.

I'm sorry..

Ohhh dear, you don't wanna know how many of the sisters came from brothel to the temple (chuckles).

I honestly rather don't.

Alright, now let me finish the tale my dear

Hh37feht o

To make the tale better, let me share the brighter side a bit.

I become the favorite of the pirate captain, and things turned quickly different.

As he didn't wanted share me with the crew anymore.

Lmguzuws o

Gprevjig o

I had a bit peace during the sails.

It wasn't bad, I could learn new things, improve my singing and skills with lute, and only had to please one person.

Pt6czrxt o

But, I suspect it didn't lasted long, you ended up as a knight after all.

Kadmda3d o

So what happened?

5cplbsk5 o

During my time on the ship, as well in the brothel, I got addicted to few thing.

Namely sex, and alcohol.

Q0nv10qc o

He brought me to Hammerfell, showing me a new world of exotic and pleasures.

1gjbagyp o

He dressed me up as a new exotic pleasure toy

Zygfc1hy o

And he brought much more refined partners outside himself.

Txrhj8hp o

I become his way to get hooks on powerful figures in Hammerfell.

Opxmokt1 o

Offering them a trained, well-behaved girl for pleasure and entertainment.

Vgwucgni o

I was addicted to the life style

Every part of it, from sex to drugs to the exotic pleasures.

Ryphmaba o

I couldn't stop it, I did loved it, a lot

Opgnn28m o

But, I couldn't handle it.

48n1rbwa o

My body was on its own limits.

Lihlfcnq o

Constant barrage of Alcohol, drugs.. and orgies, I wanted more and more stronger

Xronk2ys o

He eventually turned dissatisfied with me, I was barely of use anymore.

H9rwfhvd o

I was simply discarded, cause I broke.

9rl43kz3 o

What happened next?

61y6gszv o

He simply delegated me to his underlings, I simply became their toy of pleasure. And as an addicted girl losing her mind in.. withdrawal.

So he kept me one of his brothels near Anvil.

Vwdat4jt o

Only thing, I can recall from that period.. I was on the brink of death

Rpkohzft o

Ready to be disposed like the other girls, who couldn't handle.

Cdp3bxmg o

Then one day, the end came

Xxuu2zry o

The knights of the Lily, raided the brother, and saved me, along with the other girls.

It turned out, the pirate captain, and his bunch, was linked to a Sanguine cult.

Thus the knight investigated it.

Drlttodr o

And rest is just the past, they patched me up, offered a place.

2fgzluvf o

And I became a knight.

Rhsxfths o

For someone who lived this past, you seems rather unaffected by it now.

I have a feeling that you not told me everything.

In due my dear, allow me to keep some mystery about myself, you will have plenty of time to get know more of me.

First work on your prejudices my dear, especially as a knight, you need less of them.

Fine, I try it Jeanne.

It's fine being disappointed a bit of my past, but remember, you have to work together with me.

So please don't be unresonable toward me Gwynolda

Forgive me Jeanne.

Wcw5ay0b o

May I ask one last question?

Lpvanvev o

Did you ever visited Solitude in those years when you had that life?

Yes, I did a few times

Can you tell me a little bit of the city?

J0huxwsz o

It is the biggest port of the North, and current capital of the imperial administration in Skyrim, the center of the Nine divine's houses in the province as well.

Ruled by Elizabeth.

Unlike with Hammerfell and Anvil, I didn't lived there, sadly outside basics you already know, I cannot tell you more my dear.

Lz2bbklm o

Sadly, this don't tell me a lot, in the end I have to ask my father about my life in Solitude.

Vlqirno8 o

And ask him about my mother.

Zanvz1uy o

It's been years since I saw my father

I didn't even think of that.

Qpqlajbg o

I wonder how is he nowadays

Mxhlpbqe o

End

Author's notes

Spoiler

Ohhh dear, this was a hefty chapter to make and write.

Pacing definetly was my biggest enemy as I went overboard with my pictures again, but its done and ready.

I had a lot bad sleep and bad nights due the heat in summer, so hopefully my half-dead brain didn't write a lot stupid thing.

I hope you all enjoyed :classic_blush:

ps, I can't fix the broken spoiler of the previous chapters for somereason.

Damn, I love how you weave drama, sexyness and politics into your story and I'm a sucker for it. Those shots in Hammerfell are definitely my favorites! I feel bad for Jeanne and I'm glad the Knights of the Lily found her. Her life is much better now so far.

Also ? we will see more of Gwynolda's dad?

:classic_wub: Your cities are wonderful. I did like your Anvil impressions.

And that tale of J's past is really really exciting. I would love to learn more about her :classic_happy:

It’s really cool to see into Jeanne’s past and all the pretty places she’s been. Makes the world feel so much bigger that what Skyrim normally is, and much more beautiful.

And ESO isn't allowing those "special" play-styles ? :classic_blush:

Quite the graphical journey through Jeanne's past. This entry perfectly embodying the immersive travel that your blog is and was, with a mastered render of the colors and sceneries. Now story wise your protagonists are only a few steps away from the start of the entry ; yet Jeanne's life was as shocking as could be considering her current poised attitude. Technical criticism put aside, hovering over Jeanne's life was quite a visual and sensual experience, with the impression of dead end/despair also being quite well rendered at the end. So the question now is the future, which hopefully the next chapter will answer, considering the satisfying length of your current series. Great work. :D?

Thank you ?, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Visually, I had a lot fun posing the scenes and shooting them, it took quite a while to release tho due the difficulty and lot actors.

Spoiler

Brothel scene was 10+ actor, and I had to shot few more scenes with it.

Story wise, they supposed to had a big journey, as the tales of Jeanne goes.

if plot wise its a few days, would be weird if they were there in 5 step ?, nothing can be done on it, Bethesda games are small open world.

So technically I'm limited, I can't expand the Reach hold, outside making it look bigger :classic_unsure:

But walking and physical happening of the chapter is just, a cover, it's not the focus.

That was Jeanne, after all our co-protag had to asnwer a few question and we needed get know a bit of her, as much she was willing to tell ?

I did intended to be shocking, but it part of developing her character and the future directions and conflicts, she may started low, but she keep her secret and some other parts of her past ?

She had a long way to come to be the knight she is.

Spoiler

Let just say, her past had some experience to skip a few lesson ?

They head to the Old Hroldan, plot wise, but it may take a few chapter to expand and focus on the coming events, I want to tell.

I have to pace out the events and plot ?

Why the future is a question? ?

Spoiler

We have already built up a few key point of the plot and events to explore in act I, and more things comes.

Outside personal dislike, what is your source of distrust when it comes to the knight-Sister Malicia?

She is knight Malicia, her job to judge the other "artists" who not follow the right path, til the S-Y-B-I-L is back ?

She don't look for the sybil, she looked for Gwynolda, as she is a recruit for the order to train and get slowly start the investigation, which is the main reason why she is there.

Indeed, I wonder what is his agenda, maybe he just try make a new holiday ?

Thank you ?, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Visually, I had a lot fun posing the scenes and shooting them, it took quite a while to release tho due the difficulty and lot actors.

They head to the Old Hroldan, plot wise, but it may take a few chapter to expand and focus on the coming events, I want to tell.

I have to pace out the events and plot ?

Pacing out the destinations reached during a travel is good, as it enforces the size of your world. And this time, Jeanne's past was an event in itself. Now, you tend to like exposition a bit much, and your characters are already introduced. So although currently your work is more than pleasant, I'd be watchful for the pace not to remain in "exposition mode" for too long ; though it might be a matter of personal tastes rather than a pure storytelling advice.  Smiley-thinking-48-pinmig.png

ldyMRSUy_o.png « It's nothing personal.

I just know she's gonna try something sooner or later, and I don't want Gwynolda to catch Chlamydia, you see ? That's very what a friend would do. :classic_sleepy:

Plus Tirloque told me she didn't like what I said about Dibella artists, even though I'm not into art business at all, no. :classic_sleep: »

ldyMRSUy_o.png « I very think it's the horny daedra with the rose stick.

Cecilde told me he offered her a drink, and that afterwards he almost married her and she didn't remember anything. She's a complete dummy. :classic_dodgy:

If your Jeanne gal wants to get suspicious, she should get suspicious about him instead, uh. :classic_excl: »

(a)- Second, just asking around about a sybil gal won't do, as it's not like she has S-Y-B-I-L written on her face, no. :classic_lightbulb:

                  (b) - Third aside little Worik, no one wears roses in Markath. So the guy with the roses is suspicious. :classic_ph34r:

:classic_ph34r: Indeed! ☝️

a) we MUST assume that Resdayn censored away those superior and clandestine interrogation techniques, that only highly trained sisters can employ in such stealthy missions.

(Perhaps Resdayn could tell us more about those special techniques, but probably we all would have to be killed to protect the secret :classic_ohmy:)

b) YES! This guy has "hostile agent" written all over him :classic_ph34r: Though I take the roses as a false-flag disguise, because it is too obvious.

I believe, it may be just your personal tastes.

I don't think I use too much of "exposition", let alone liking it, honestly it is rather low.

Outside the lore heavy parts of some chapters, and maybe the flashbacks if we really wanna nitpick, but those chapter still had some events, training, main bad on move, sexual lust,, fantasies etc..

Developing Jeanne's relationship with Gwynolda is not an exposition dump, it would make sense to our protagonist be curious and talk to her, especially on context when she can do it, unlike in training, walking is good spot to that.

Well, Jeanne probably didn't wished to go in detail about her interrogation methods ?

He might just liked roses too much ?, it still a lovely flower.

A blowjob scene where the lips actually go around the penis instead of just a randomly clipping everywhere ?! Now there's something we don't get enough of on LL ?. Nice job!

Thank you ?

I had to align it manually and use expressions properly to open it, it was posing, cause >.> would be a pain with animation frame networks I believe.

?I think LL can use some good non-clipping blowjobs
