Chapter 3
The next morning comes
It's been a few days since I am out of Markarth
Today my official training will begin
I start with some small stretching before anything
I got up early today a bit early
Will be a few hours before she arrives.
My new mentor, Jeanne..
She is ranked as senior in the sisters of Lady Dibella and as a knight in the order of Lily.
I guess her being imperial, might be more reason to trust her over the Nords at the temple
After all.. she is no Nord.
I don't feel any hostility from her, mostly just curiosity and excitement.
Wonder how much she knows about the temple.
She is from a different province, from the city of Anvil in Cyrodiil
yet she feels very much like someone who lived here in the Reach, not sure why.
She seems a bit too well knowing about the Reach, as someone who only visited a few times.
Maybe she has more reasons being here, than just what she said.
Wonder if she knows anything about "Saoirse" and why she is erased from the history, I can ask her about it later.
I have to wait for her anyway.
I admit, I'm a bit still intimidated by her
I should calm myself down, before I end up looking too anxious
Our first meeting was quite nice, so I shouldn't be that scared..
I know one thing, I was really mesmerized by her look, she almost felt looking like Lady Dibella's statues.
Beautiful, perfect and loving
It is quite intimidating for someone like me.
She apologized for her initial mocking tone, and slowly as we talked, she explained her reasoning to pick me and her plans of the future.

If not Lady Dibella herself chosen you for this role, of course. She might have guided me to you, who knows

And of course, she found me quite lacking in theory and she gave me a few books to read upon the Dibellan worship and the history of the Temple in Skyrim, along side some books of Daedra and The immortal blood.
And today.. we see how the training goes.
Wonder if she actually will teach me more about the Dibellan arts, the sister at the temple refused to do it.
It would be pleasant, maybe we'll do that today..

Sadly, not all, I had some distractions yesterday. I only did read a few bit of the Dibellan worship of Tamriel and the past of Sybills of Skyrim.

The reason, why I gave you the book about the Dibellan Faith, was quite simple. I wanted make sure you know well the differences between regions and provinces.

To make sure your judgement as future knight is right and you don't make a mistake. A mistake can cost the lives of innocents if you judge them wrongly, remember that.

I admit, not much, I assumed the house of Lady Dibella is hostile to the unholy, criminals who commit sexual acts against the non-willing.

Order of the Lily, is the militant arm of the house of Dibella, our duty is to protect the faith of our Lady and the Eight.
We defend the concept of love, consent, art and beauty.
And most importantly, we fight against the unholy.
But we have two main enemies
One of them is Lady Dibella's rival
Sanguine, the lord of Debauchery, Revelry Blood-Made-Pleasure and his followers
Ruler of The Myriad Realms of Revelry
I don't have to remind you
Love between Daedras and Her priestess are forbidden and the greatest sin
Heretical in every aspect, repulsive, revolting and go against anything of the order.
Many of us, knights and sisters have fallen to Sanguine and his follower
Our enemy is clever, tempting and very seductive
Always remember that.
So Sanguine is our main enemy, my training is gonna involve a lot preparations against him and his followers
Yes, that is why the order prefers magically gifted sisters to join, we need a great deal of knowledge and will power to resist his tricks.

We mainly focus on eradicating his taint, the vampires, how is your knowledge about them?

They are blood drinking monsters, who pretend to be mortals, like their forefather, they are sexual predators, who often defile their victims before taking their blood.
Undead, but thankfully the same tricks works well against them

Now then, time to take that sword up from the ground and we should start training.

My training began under her
She decided it best to learn it while being naked at first, before moving on more heavier or lighter armor
She watched me carefully and guided slowly how to keep balance and use my wooden practice sword.
I think it's a bit better than last time, but you still struggle with it, we're just barely getting into the basics.
At least I no longer fall down to the ground from a swing.
Is the sword perhaps a bit too heavy for you?
Just a bit, I think it will going well after a while. Maybe if I could use a little magic, but that would be counter productive isn't it?

We continued the training, I made much faster progress with the lighter sword, and she talked more about how the knights in the order often modify their weapons with enchantments and magic.
She encouraged me to experiment more with combining magic and martial prowess.
I think today we are done, let's finish it for now and go to rest, it's getting late Gwynolda.
And the first day of my training ended.
She hasn't noticed it yet, but I admit, she's got me thinking about the relationship part, I think it's safe to say, we see how the future will go
