Mod installation requierment

This is my mod real requierment list.

if i messed up something please let me know!

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The time of writing this post my knowlage about papyurs scripting non existant. The time of this addition my knowlage exteneded a lot.

So here is a important addon to this:

 

 if a message come in papyrus not always means fatal problem. mods can be made a way that supports a other mod but not require it.

this cases sometimes error shown in papyrus log becuse the mod not exist. the script contain reference part of the mod code, but code not exist.

 

Normaly this is not a problem: modmakers check the existance of the suported mods. If no suported mods present, the mod not try to use non existing code parts.

But the game engine dont know that. the game engine checks all the requirement if sees one requirement missing send a wanring into the logs.

 

 

Some mod has "hidden" requierment that not listed in mod page. 
some come become hidden as some sort of bug inside the mod. 
As i doing my tests with PAHE and mods for pahe i need error free test everiment.
This means: if i start a game, do things in new game my papyrus log need contain no error at all.
if it happen contain error messages about missing requiered files, scripts my error report probably going to be ignored.
reason: other mods requierments not meet, probably skyrim going to produce random bugs becuse of this.

i try minimalize the number of loaded mods most cases so my tests show only the tested mods defects and not efected by other mods.
for this reason i try disable many esp as possible that not essential for testing.

special note:
in my quick test i disble both esp and esl that thismod created
the boudy and animation worked without this to. the esl give better control over what npc boudy display psihicks and what not.
this can be very useful if one use HDT-SMP, or in case of weak machine.

Notes about bodys:
zaz or zap animation pack come from oldrim. first best of my knowlage unp existed as avible boudy type, later come CBBE.
maybe this is the reason why all devices work well with unp or unp based boudys (like BHUNP).
if one using cbbe littile cliping can be expected as female characters interact with zaz devices.

this can be fixed with CBBE patchs. ( i lazy and at the moment not wish do this so i use BHUNP)

 

Special note:

Above ZAZ 7.0 version zaz generate fallowing error message on game start:
Cannot open store for class "ZazOnTriggerEnterBindingsTMG", missing file?

cause of this error message: 
activator that call this script, this activator referenced only one time inside the zbftestcell
based on what i found in xedit i belive this one can be used by player to tie self up.

 

My solutions:

1- delete it using xedit both the reference and activator this way error message gone.

maybe has other side effect not know to me time of writing this.

2- create ZazOnTriggerEnterBindingsTMG.pxe if this a empty file probably ntohing wrong going to happen.

 

WARNING:
if one delte soemthing from a mod and other mods reference/try use that deleted opject/thing bead things going to happen.
Save file coruption, CTD(Crash To Desktop) can happen.
so do this own risk!

this one missing a script file due pacaging error. 

to fix this need download TDF aggresive prositution SE 2.5.5. loacte the scmissing script file named

"BB_SLDNRejectionMagicEffectScript.pex"

copy this to the AIO install folder \scripts directory where other similar file can be found

Heretical resources (not sure maybe other part of this mod also needed, probably need converted)

DO NOT USE THIS! some of the item inside cause CTD!
i converted it using CAO and creation kit in this order.
Some items has pshicks attaced to it. if you try to eqpip that item you go ctd. probably same true if npc try use it.
need some expert on this field to fix this type of error. ( or find and delete offending items)

strange but HSH need the script from inside but to that script work full effect Devious Devices need to be installed.

Display model SE:
to discover this source of script files take me hours.
this one has in devlopment, beta stage probably buggy.
maybe casue more problem than worth it.

display model v206:
this is the oldrim version of display model.
as it maybe need coneverted. problem is here this one and se version both requiered to not produce error message.
i have no idea what happen if both version present and tiggered. probably soemthing go break very bead.
need to be tested.

Amazing follower tweaks SE -only the scripts, disable or delete the esp! 
WARNING!!! - The esp alone cause more error messages that remove in existance.

WARNING!!!! - i not yet tested rougly 40 hour gameplay  what happen if i not enbale the esps. may some nasty suprise hidden here.

That would be great. Thank you for this post and answer. Below, I put together some questions I think could be relevant if you overhaul this article at some point.

 

 

 

To be candid, most if not all of this is guesswork for me. I have next to no understanding of scripting etc. AND I have only a small margin of error to try things out on myself: I run a MacBook from 2011 and am rather surprised how far I got with my modlist, being forced to use no other mod-manager but Wrye Bash. I barely got even that to work under the restrictions of wine (finding a working combination of the python requirements and all other stuff not easily available on wine / Porting Kit was no fun...).

 

For noobs like me, you article here is really helpfull!!

 

I like the direction, the DoM mod is going, but since version 4.0 it is decoupled from Aygas and HSH much more. I don't quite understand yet, what that does to the features of the later ones. An overview about the interaction between the main three PAHE extension mods and by someone understanding more about that then most of the player base could be interesting from the perspective of soft requirements. For example, I still do not understand how the Aygas prostitution features are doing without taking the slaves out of DoM. You mention the TDF Aggressive Prostitution SE as a soft Requirement, I'd be interested if that is still so ore even more so by now.

 

Other questions wich would be nice to touch, whenever you come to check up on this article: 

 

-The XPMSSE has the option to turn off the spell cloak and deactivating style fitting weapon animations in the mcm. Is it still the better option to deactivate the .esp or is keeping it activated but turning off the functions ingame more safe?

 

- I didn't use the Devious Devices Framework up until now, I read a t.ara post (I hope to remember that right...) indicating it has the reputation of messing up other mods. Is it still a soft requirement, if you are not interested in its core features? Is there a way to fix the ZaZ 8+ items associated with it without installing/activating DD? In other words: How to include the benefits of DD without being interested the quests and all the restricting the player kind of stuff AND without risking to mess up all the pahe stuff.

 

- Herectical Resources depends and HDT, afaik. In the last years, more people just take CBPC Physics, as faster HDT is costly to frame rate even if used only to touch things up here and there. Also, the Skyrim SE compatibility tracking page does not list it, but this is not allways a good indicator. DoM is now only SE and AE. So mods like I take the display model and moving chains seem to be out of reach by now on low end machines/Skyrim AE. Are they?

 

- There are alternatives to SexLab Aroused Redux, OSM Aroused seems to reduce the script-load by transferring many tasks to its native SKSE dll. Also claims to reduce co-save bloat. Is this the better solution by now?

 

- osmelmc mod tweaks (Sexlab Utilitiy plus) helps with furniture detection and pre-filtering of animations, especially the SLATE plugin reduces load time and leads to more frequent use of alternative animations. It smoothes things up a lot. I would consider it a soft requirement by now. BUT in my case I have to take care to de-select auto-free cam and turn on the right combination of scaling options in all related mods to not experience movement freeze to often.

 

- Will Sexlab p+ be the better alternative at some point? You can not install it mid playthrough, perhaps a paragraph about mods being somewhat soft requirements but being only safe to install if starting a new game.

 

 

- Is MHiYH 2plus still a soft requirement? I thought, I could skip that by now. 

 

 

I don't want to seem impolite: Some of this information could be gathered by try and error or asking the mod authors. I just wanted to post it here as long as I still am clear enough about what I don't understand, trying to be of some help, if you decide to overhaul this article some time in the future.
