Chapter Three: The Road to Windhelm
"What are you reading this morning love?"
"It's a book of spells and potions. Mr Medici gave it to me before I left Riften."
"So what you're a wizard now?"
"No not quite... The books in Aldmeris, I need to find someone who can translate it for me."
"I do believe there's probably a couple someones like that in Riften."
"What about another hold where's the closest one?"
"Windhelm I believe, I went there once when I was a boy."
"Then it looks like we're off to Windhelm."
"Well here's a town you think they have someone who can read Aldmeris?"
"Don't get your hopes up, it doesn't look like much of a town."
"We'll never find a translator with that attitude Micah!"
"Sir!"
"Yes miss? What brings you out here to our town?"
"I'm on my way to Windhelm, I thought I might ask if you have someone who can read Aldmeris."
"That elf speak? I don't want anything to do with those damn elves."
"Why might that be?"
"Those damn elves are trying to get the Empire to restrict our worship of Talos! My nephews in the Legion, he told me the elves might go to war with us over it, I won't have anything to do with em!"
"I hadn't heard about that, do you think there might really be war?"
"I don't know, there hasn't been war in Skyrim for a hundred years, we need to find someone who can read Aldmeris for your book."
"For all the good our searching is doing we might as well ask him."
"Alicia get down from there! You'll hurt yourself!
"It's so beautiful up here Micah!"
"It's everything I left home to see!"
Kind of a short one, I've run out of time to finish the chapter this morning and couldn't figure a way to save it so I could come back to it later. So I went ahead and split chapter three into two parts, I should have the rest of it posted tomorrow morning, thank you for reading as always
