Outfit Studio/Bodyslide 2 CBBE Conversions

Recommended Posts

This is my first Bodyslide conversion.

It's the Shadow Fang armor from the Tera Armors Collection on Nexus.

I'm working on the Gunslinger armor too, but would welcome some feed back on Shadow Fang while I'm at it. I converted it to CBBE HDT and use the UNP preset on Bodyslide. I tested out a couple other presets and didn't notice any clipping. I also added a zap slider for the scarf. There might be some small clipping on the boots and gloves, since I didn't go too much on extreme settings, but I didn't see any while in game.

Very nice! Thx!

Hi Guys!

A Noob had made a conversion of :

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55706/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D55706%26preview%3D&pUp=1

In this thread :

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/39423-a-noob-does-bodyslide-2hdt-conversions-halted/?p=998291

But i get missing textures for the corsets in-game.

Can anybody solve this problem?

I've try with the Outfit Studio but the textures doesn't appear too...

Take a look if you find some free time to fix it :)

Thanks

Hi guys, could someone please convert just one outfit from this mod, the BLACK and the BACKLESS one ONLY: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61858/?

The 3 non BACKLESS one have been converted by Rory, but not with the BACKLESS one, and I just need that one only to be converted.

Thx before.

I'd like to second this. As said, the backed versions have been made, though are mismatched with weighting(crazy clipping on moving) and missing things like the belly node.

If someone got the talent to convert http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58062/?this to cbbe I would be very thankful. It seems I am to dumb to use bodyslide correctly... :(

here you go: http://modmaximus.info/files/7-1-0-4808

Thanks, but I dont really know what to do with the downloaded files? I cant find the option for cbbe and my poor understanding of the russian language does not help either. :/

Here's my cleaned up version of Aradia's Living Armor bodyslide.

I got a bodyslide of this somewhere on this site ages ago, but it was for some nonstandard body shape.  I can't even find the download now.  Anyway this version is standard CBBE and tweaked to make it fit better.

The screenshots (which aren't standard CBBE, sorry) show that it's very brightly colored and glows in the dark.

The problem with this verison that is not for HDT / belly node and breast (ass). It is static and made for standard CBBE body. Somebody could make this bodyslide ready for HDT body and jiggly please?

Thank you, but how do I get them to work in game?

How do you add weight slider support to outfits that don't have it?

Create both a _0.nif and _1.nif, and edit the plugin in TES5Edit or the Creation Kit to enable the weight.

There a more detailed tutorial on how to do this, I'm very new to modding

Not knowing how much you know we'll start with the basics - http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Skyrim-Mods

Though personally I recommend using Mod Organiser http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?

for which there is an entire library of how to vids -

Make sure your CBBE with Bodyslide is the latest and that there is nothing in your MO overwrite file.

The contents of the shapedata folder goes into your CBBE/CalienteTools/Bodyslide/Shapedata folder.

The contents of the sliderset folder goes into your CBBE/CalienteTools/Bodyslide/Sliderset folder.

(if the names and files structure has been done right you can just tick the box but that isn't always true so I got into the habit of of doing it this way and it leaves the original files available to fall back on)

Tick the box for the original armour mod (if the hdt dl doesnt have the esp, bsa or all textures and meshes included (most don't).

Open the bodyslide program through MO, select your desired presets CBBE, HDT, TOP HEAVY etc. Once selected do a ctrl+build to get the proper basebody nifs.

Then select the tick box  under the build button for racemenu morphs.

Now hit the batch build button lower left, select the body you want to use (for hdt this would be CBBE HDT and CBBE Feet, do not select multiple body types as this will muck things up in my experience) then you select the outfit(s) you want to bodyslide and hit ok. The program will go off and do its thing then tell you it either succeeded or failed (usually success). If it fails theres something msising.

Close bodyslide and you should find a warning that you have things in your overwrite (which is not good) so right click the overwrite and create a new mod with a title to your liking (I do "profile name BODYSLIDE GENERATED FILES"), leave this mod towards the end of your load order so it overwrites the original mod(s) and tick the box to activate it.

You should now have an hdt ready outfit in your game.

For pefection open bodyslide then Outfit Studio, load your desired outfit, check it has sliders that work, then load the reference for your body, in sliders set your reference body as the base body then conform all. Go over the outfit and solve any base clipping then work your way through the sliders and solve any clipping with them (Perfection isn't always easy :)  ) Save the outfit and go play.

It's getting the armour mesh to match the body mesh for the _0 mesh that I'm having trouble with, I can't get the meshes to match the _0 body mesh using the brush without deforming the armour mesh.

I can get the _1 mesh to fit a body mesh that's larger then the outfit, apparently I find getting a outfit mesh to fit a body mesh with bigger breasts then the outfit a lot easier then body's with smaller breasts then the outfit.

There any way to "iron" the mesh out so the bumps don't appear when trying to get the body and outfit mesh to match.

there is a smoothing brush in outfit studio as well that can iron out the bumps.

Also the plus and minus keyboard keys shrink and enlarge the brush size "circle" that can be used for fine tuning and tweaking.

sorry if this question gets asked all the time, i've been around for awhile but never really posted.  i have a bit of proficiency in 3d and i've been wanting to mess with bodyslide for awhile, but what always stops me is that i just can't find a way to get objs FROM bodyslide into blender, only the reverse.

i've found that in bodyslide tools, there's a script for converting the bsd shape data files into text files, but it seems the vertex indices given by this aren't corresponding to the actual obj file's vertex indices.

so, is there an easy way to do this?  convert bodyslide shapes into obj files, i mean.  preferably batched.  if it requires some programming, i can do that, although i'm not very far in programming yet beyond task automation(or else i probably wouldn't have to ask this...).

thanks if anyone can give any advice or even point me in the right direction.  if i could at least figure out how the vertex indices given by the .txt file output by the bodyslide tools bsd-to-text converter's function relate to the actual obj file's vertex indices, this would be easy.

EDIT: nevermind, i think i figured it out.  the shapes are(or can be) stored per mesh per nif file, and the mesh each bsd is applied to is listed in the xml files inside of the slidersets folder.  sorry for the disturbance.
