i have tried to figure out how to add hdt to this:  http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36518/?  if any one could give help or even do this but  throw in an explanation how it was done it that would be appreciated. 

 

i am thankful for all the work and time poeple have put into skyrim modding and i have enjoyed alot of that work but rather than just ask someone else to do this outright id like to learn but am having trouble with some things.  i get so far and then nothing.  i have tried using the bodyslide tutorial on here and came up to the part of moving your body to the mesh in the outfit studio but cannot figure out how exactly to move the mesh and body together.  also i am not sure this can be done like normal armor conversions since this is basically paint but it does have nif files so i am sure someone will know how.  thx for any help in advance.

As far as I can tell, the NIF is just a naked body; so, I assume the esp includes a texture replacer that points to the painted texture. If that's the case, you have a few options:

    - You could load a reference by itself and save the project, making sure it exports the NIF to the correct location (meshes/clothes/Forsworn woad Caliente/CBBE/femalebody_[0/1].NIF) and it should work fine.

    - You could CTRL + build your CBBE body and then manually move the NIFs from the 'Bodyslide' to the correct folder (as specified above).

    - Or, as I would probably do, you could change the ArmorAddon in the esp via the CK, and change the NIF from the one specified and just use your normal, naked body in the 'character assets' folder. And be sure to reassign the texture swap as it was before.

 

I feel I should note that this doesn't look like a texture overlay, but an actual texture replacer. Which means, the naked body underneath the tattoo/body paint will not be your preferred body texture but the one the mod author included. At a minimum, you could get ankle, wrist, and/or neck seams in the texture just like you get in the original version. Not a big deal so long as you use a CBBE body but you cannot converting it to UUNP without remaking the texture. It appears the author did include a PSD file though, so it could be fixed - provided you have the tools.

do check out his thread, he does craptons of conversions. he accepts requests but seems like now everyone including their grandmother is flooding the poor sod with requests. its a brave thing he's doing.
