  1. They are still an option. They were removed from RJW and added to RJW - Extension.
  2. Hello! I seem to have found a minor incompatibility. If you use the empire mod (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2006535182), the military you can call in does not get any RJW parts. This does only seem to affect the pawns generated when you deploy the military. They arrive via drop pods. Anyone who walks into the map, seems to be fine and gets parts like normal.

    Its actually really easy to patch! I did it following the guide put up by the mod author for MCA. Just follow the screenshots and you should be able to patch it yourself. Link to MCA that has the guide: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1691422256 Fun fact: Any single gender race (skeletons and hivers in the base game) default to male animations.
  4. So one issue with that, that works but not well. They generate eggs faster than they loose the sex need. Meaning I can have an entire prison full of 15+ volunteers (all set to be comfort prisoners) and my colonists will still go down once a day to lay eggs. Because the sex need is taken care of, so they don't go deposit the eggs. They also seem to generate a new egg almost immediately after laying one in a volunteer. A couple things could be done to fix this (but I personally have no idea how to add it my self). 1. Decrease sex need for pawns that have both an ovipositor and an egg. 2. Add a timer to only allow one egg to generate every 1-2 days. That way the nature sex need decay should drop enough for them to go find a volunteer.
  5. If that is the case is there anyway to make them stop prostrating themselves daily to lay eggs? The keep dropping their weapons and inventory at least once a day that it makes it impossible to play a colony if they all have the ovipositor.
  6. So I have either found a bug with the ovipositor or an incompatibility with The Mantodean insectoid race and/or Spawning through egglayer for Mantodean insectoid race. It seems the are constantly impregnating themselves with Big Eggs. Since every single one of them is doing this they are constantly falling over and laying the egg. According to the social tab this is happening without and sort of loving going on (I actually turned off colonist hook ups as well). This still happens even if egg pregnancy is disabled. Attached is the log, just in case it helps. Sorry I have not been able to do further testing to see if it is the race or ovipositor messing up. EDIT: Further testing is done. It is the ovipositor causing the issue. Player.log

    Open the race in the FCS and one of the drop downs will be animations. From there you just need to add the new ones. Looking at: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1691422256 has a pretty good screenshot tutorial on how to do so.

    Great job as always! One issue however, is that it seems the new position was not added to the tech. There is no way to get it in game. I was also unable to find the pole, but I may be blind. (The Spider is differently not part of the research, I added it myself to use it in game.) Again, great work!

    The thing with the cannibal animation is, that in my experience, when used by fog princes, they seem to always eat form the same direction. In front, facing the prisoner. Now I may be wrong, but from what I have seen it is from the front. I haven't actually played that long and most of my experience with the Fog is being dragged into deadhive overrun. Which mostly has posts inside buildings. Meaning it may just be due to the orientation of the post to the door that is causing it to seem like it is always the same direction.

    Technically speaking, the sleeping pose is a non moving animation (as that is basically what a pose is in a video game). So this is a step in the right direction. Those that remember the days of early Sims 2 modding will remember that most of the early sex animations were tied to furniture, where one spot would play a different animation than the other. In those cases both actors where doing their thing on their own, but within a close enough proximity to make it look like they were doing it together. Edit: I also just realized that we DO have animations that require multiple characters. Fog Princes eat prisoners off of the prisoner poles. (As do cannibals.) Both the prisoner and the Prince are technically using an animation. The same may also be said of slavers, though they are a bad example as it seems to be the kneeling animation near a downed body, rather than a specific spot. Of course the down side of these animations is that they are not actions the player can take.
  12. So I downloaded the new update, and ran into one of the new events. It looks like Astrid spawns with Hiccup's portrait.
  13. I am using 2.0.3. Seems all of the males from Heros and Villains spawn as female if you are of the dagon religion.
  14. Ok, so I ran into a bug, or incompatibility with Heros & Villains by dewguru. If you are of the dagon religion Vulture seems to spawn as a women. Still has his portrait, just the wrong gender. (Vulture is set to female = no in Heros & Villians).
