CrimsonOmegaLance Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Hey LL, I first came here while playing Skyrim while looking for adult mods. I received some really helpful advice and help on how to tweak my game, download some pretty cool mods, and generally make my Skyrim experience better. I also saw how advanced the Oblivion modding scene was compared to Skyrim, and I thought I should try PC Oblivion (beat it on the 360 before) until I can get a better computer (mine's 5 years old and can't play Oblivion on medium settings). So I bought Oblivion and it's expansion packs and happily started modding Oblivion for the first time. Now, after about 50 hours of Oblivion playtime, (and only level 4 lol), I disappointingly saw how short the LoversBitch questline was. So I decided I could start modding myself and create some new quests for this awesome mod. Now, I'm a college student, and I just started getting into the CS for the first time. I think I've spent around 20 hours already learning how to create scripts/quests/conversations and about the only considerable thing I've done is finish 1/2 a quest. Unfortunately, to me, after I hand wrote the baseline for a larger questline, I can already see what happens (and how hard it would be to mod lol), so I lost motivation to keep working on it. I was wondering how much interest there was in LL for me to continue modding this.
GrimReaperCalls Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 It's a pretty difficult task you've got there, especially when it comes to trying to comprehend other people's scripts without being able to talk to them . But if you feel up for it, I would definitely play it !
cuverschaap Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Hard to say. I'd like it if you'd create new quests, but that may just be because I'm selfish. That said, if you like doing it... why not have a go at it?
fejeena Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Yes,Yes,Yes!!!!!! But when you are so new in modding don't make a large questline, or you will never finish it( so many modders started big mods and lost motivation).Start with single quests, add quest after quest. And you know there are thousands of Oblvion mods!!! When you make a quest in a city, people are crying " Not compatible with Better-Citys/Open-Citys";When you change a World-cell, people crying " Not compatible with Unique-Landscapes or other mods, make it compatible, make a patch,...."( could be very demotivating). In-door-cells (like the Leyaviine quest) or own caves/houses (like horny-wolf-cave or Oblivion-gate quest) are good. So, yes try it, have fun (and stress). Oh, a link to a map with all world-cells that are modified by Unique-Landscapes and the official Oblivion-expansions ( Knights of the Nine, Menrunes' Razor,.....) http://bettercities.free.fr//UniqueLandscapes/Maps/UniqueLandscapesGridMapReleasedAndWIP.jpg Hope I haven't demotivated you, I want a lovers-bitch expansion.Pleeeeeeeease!!!! (It would be nice when you first make bigger kennels in the basement of Rena Bruiants dog shop, to stop the "flying" dogs. Some guys tried to make it but never finished it.)

Tom21 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Like to see the dog shop fixet up some more to, And how about New Shops in other towns with some new dogs and quests to go with them.
Guest Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 More content for loversbitch would be amazing. Remember though, that you should never be pressured to do anything from other users. Don't let the complaining/rambling/bitching (heh) of users get to you. Make content that you are interested in (otherwise you'll be making things that you don't like which will likely be pretty sucky compared to what you could make if you actually liked what you were doing) an can actually do without dieing out or destroying your personal life. THAT'S more important than a sex mod. While I am not a modder myself, one thing you could and should do is contact Chaseroxand. Ask him what it was like making lovers bitch, ask for any advice, what certain scripts mean/do and ask if he has any unreleased resources. Another thing you could try doing is try looking at other existing mods that do similar things, function and script wise to what you want to do. Reverse engineer that, and integrate your parts into it would (I'm guessing/hoping) help. Hope this helps, and if you do decide to continue the project, good luck!
afa Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Start small, only make a few quests (or maybe even only 1 or 2) see if you like it, play it a little, see if you are satisfy with it, and want to continue. If you ask the community if they would like a continuation of loversbitch you are most likely going to get a bunch of yes.
cold burn Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Yeah I'm with afa on this one, try making some quests or something else relativily minor in order to get your feet wet so to speak, then think about diving into the deep-end. As an example of something you could do involving lovers, try adding a bit of integration into the some of the oblivion vanilla quests. This way your not aiming quite so high right off the bat and you'd still end up making something everyone would enjoy.
Art_B Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I would be interested in a lover's bitch that had some more options. Like just the dog dick on/off feature instead of the quest. Maybe a toggle to release the dog companion too? It also sometimes causes crashes due to conflict with my loversrapers mod. Not sure why or if this can be solved
Sarnaath Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I'll play any addition to LoversBitch. Take it as far as you want or are interested.

[/quote'] ahh yes forgot about that problem Yeah the kennels were a issue, they were to small in some cases and why have more then one dog in a kennel? That just caused issues with placement. Maybe a abort system can be put in place too. The amount of times the dog has fallen out the kennel and left my character stuck due to mating not completely. To there are loads of little improvements you can do to make this mod better.
vashar Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I would be interested! Though I haven't finished LB yet, I would really like more sex story lines, heh.

Not sure why or if this can be solved Actually, I don't think you can toggle their dick off at all. If you play Skyrim, I'm pretty sure it's the same problem with erect male nude models. You either have it erect all the time, or it's not there at all. As to LoversRapers, I'm using ShadowRunners version, and there are no problems so far...
Tom21 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I'v just started LB for about the 8th time and every thing is runing ok, But DO NOT have Player Slave Encounters runing at the same time or it'll miss things up got Enslaved by the Alpha Wolf! Missed it all up!! if your using Player Slave Encounters just turn it off till that quest is over thin you can turn it back on. and so BL will run ok put it at the bottom of the lod order last 5 for me are: LoversBitch.esp LoversCalm.esp LoversMotionsNT.esp LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp Works OK for Me!!
Sarnaath Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Yeah the kennels were a issue' date=' they were to small in some cases and why have more then one dog in a kennel? Because sometimes you just want the sex and not the commitment. I don't know what ramifications that would have though, since the purchased dogs use the same mechanism.
Shiloh2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Three replies in one: @Tom21 - I do believe you can turn off animal enslavement by using the Player Slave Encounters Crystal that's in the alley between the Merchant Inn / Fighting Chance in the IC Market District. I've never been enslaved by an animal... One problem with Player Slave Enc + Lover's Bitch is that sometimes your captor will talk to you and you can choose to offer him a job training canines. @Sarnaath - I haven't tried this, but I'm guessing you can't store wild / city canines in the kennels in Chorral? What I usually do is use the Target Spelll "Barrage" (from MCS, I believe) and send the unwanted canine into a deadly situation and get it killed. Option #2: Kill the dog yourself. You'll get an "I miss my companion already..." update, and the bone should be removed. To the OP - Maybe try getting your feet wet by trying to fix the kennels in the Dog Shop Basement so the animals have enough room to do the "deed". You really ONLY need the first dog and the Bloodhound - the other ones are just there for immersiveness. I always thought it would be better to train dogs outside in full view of the good citizens of Chorral, but that would probably create other problems... Extra bonus idea: Instead of Rena Bruiant, creat a completely new NPC named Cesar Millan. "I rehabilitate dogs. I train people. I am Cesar Millan. Now get on all fours, bitch!"
monolith Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 A continuation of lovers bitch would be great. I made bigger kennels for chaseroxand but by that time he already abandoned the project. Feel free to use it.
CrimsonOmegaLance Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 Extra bonus idea: Instead of Rena Bruiant' date=' creat a completely new NPC named Cesar Millan. [/quote'] Already did this so this so the mod won't overwrite or be overwritten by any other mods or original NPCs, although I named her Cara Pennfer. @monolith I already 'made' some new kennels for the first four. It's quite rudimentary as it was my first time creating an environment in CS. I'll check your bigger kennels out, but don't feel bad if I decide not to use them because there's just a certain flair in seeing something in game and saying, "I did that!"
BigOnes69 Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 As some have suggested dont make a lower amount of kennels but larger and more. They make great storage areas for NPCs. Nothing like seeing Viconia stomping off mad after being tooled by a dog 40 or 50 times. Maybe add a few Chanpon assistants to explain the restraints are for protecting the valuable 4 legged variety of Bitch, and to make valuable observations on training technique.
Sarnaath Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 @Sarnaath - I haven't tried this' date=' but I'm guessing you can't store wild / city canines in the kennels in Chorral? I train people. I am Cesar Millan. Now get on all fours, bitch!" @ Shiloh - I usually travel back to the kennels and take out a dog I own, which replaces the bitch bone of wild/city dog. Then I kennel the dog I just took out which removes the owned dog's bitch bone. But traveling to Chorrol every time is a pain. I had a problem in Bravil Underground with a bitch bone from Dingo who is essential and cannot be killed. This happened to me: I had completed the LoversBitch quests and I was in Bravil Underground and just completed the ManEater quest and my character's health was quite low. I noticed Dingo there and thought why not try and get knotted to replenish my character's health. This worked and my character got the bitch bone, which I had forgotten about. But I thought an undead dog companion would be cool so didn't think much of it. However, Dingo never followed my character anywhere. Later I left a slave in the Bravil Underground shack you get, only to return to find him dead. Sometime after that I wandering around Bravil Underground with another slave in tow, stumbled on Dingo, and he immediately attacked and killed the slave. So now I realized I had a problem: Dingo was killing slaves I brought down to Bravil Underground. (And I'm assuming Dingo isn't supposed to attack and kill your slaves since I found virtually no mention of him on LoversLab and would expect a complaint or two if this was supposed to happen.) The first thing I tried was getting rid of Dingo's bitch bone in Chorrol as described above. But that didn't work, Dingo still attacked my slaves. So I tried to take out Dingo, but Dingo is essential and cannot be killed. I eventually used a console command to reset Dingo's aggression level to 5. That worked. Now I don't know that if I had been able to immediately drop Dingo's bitch bone his aggression would not have changed, but perhaps his aggression increased in response to something that happened while I was out wandering around and he was stuck in Bravil Underground. I would have been nice to drop the bitch bone as soon as I realize that Dingo was not going to follow me out of the Underground area because a companion that's not following is useless. I could have immediately traveled to Chorrol to get rid of it, but I didn't think it would be a problem worth the effort. @OP - Rena Bruiant is used in a Bravil Underground quest. I did that after completing the LoversBitch quests, and there wasn't a conflict. I don't know if it's a problem if you enslave her first and then try the LoversBitch quests, but replacing her strikes me a a good move. Also, I suggest trying to tweak the party quest. The guests just sit there during the entertainment, and it gets kind of dull. Maybe have them all stand and then use LoversMB2 so they are at least responsive to what's going on.
BigOnes69 Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I had the same thing happen with one of the trainer dogs as your problem. Fortunately I picked up on it early and reverted to an old save. @Sarnaath - I haven't tried this' date=' but I'm guessing you can't store wild / city canines in the kennels in Chorral? fejeena Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Yes the bitchbones are a little buggy. I only use bitch bones of dogs from the dog shop.(Because you can not use wild dogs/wolfs as right companion. They don't follow you in towns or in the dog-shop to be trained properly) To prevent to get bones from other dogs, I take one of my dogs out of the kennel, tell him to wait here, and leave the shop. You can fast-travel, visit islands/new worlds from other mods, fuck hundreds of dogs and wolfs and never have problems with bitchbones again. ( I only take my shop-dogs to travel with when they are essential = knotted 50 times.)
