fake_h Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Is there any kind of easy to digest modpack with a bunch of high quality, essential mods? If not, can I atleast be told the essentials to start playing FO4 with LoversLab content?
KoolHndLuke Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Look at what mods you are interested in here and then see the requirements for them. Too many to choose from for someone to say "get these".
AWP3RATOR Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 What's essential to me, is another man's extra baggage. I personally have a high end rig and can handle the FPS that comes with rich textures and lots of NPCs doing things with scripts, so I tend to gravitate towards visual mods, new outfits, new weapons, overhauls for npc behavior, large quest mods, etc. and the like. You need to decide what kind of game you want to play through - then seek out the mods that appeal to you. There are some more "basic" mods which are probably classified as "essential" because they are requirements to many other mods: Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer and BodySlide & Outfit Studio - there any several body replaces, but this is by far the most popular and supported Fallout 4 Script Extender - not a mod by itself, but many mods require this LooksMenu - more customization options, again many mods require this Four-Play - the sex framework similar in equivalency to SexOut (FO3/FONV) and SexLab (Skryim) - this opens the door to many other mods here on Lovers Lab. LoversLab Four-Play mod install guide - this is a bit dated, but still walks through many of the popular mods here on LL which require Four-Play Nexus Mods guide - reasonably diverse (albeit geared towards realism) mod guide for Nexus based mods. I like this author's descriptions and combinations of mods, and in a marketplace of over 20000 mods, this is a good place to start getting familiar with different categories of mods.
