cleavagesweat Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 wondering if anyone knows if there is an easier way to repath textures inside nifs. this is a shot in the dark and i'm trying to see if there is a way around all the hand-jamming.
RohZima Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Are you clicking on the purple flower thing and selecting, or double clicking in the text and typing? Either way I don't know a faster way than selecting sorry
PsychoMachina Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Nif Textures https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19266 You need to edit the INI file to define where the (armor/body/object/whatever) Meshes and Textures folder/subfolder is located so that the Nif Texture program knows where to scan then add the new texture paths to the meshes. Mesh Tool N4 - Path Extractor https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40638 Can only be run from the command line. Scans the texture paths of a mesh and creates a text file listing all of the textures assigned to that NIF. You then edit the text file to assign different textures or texture paths then use Path Extractor to read the edited text file and make the changes to the mesh.
