Deathbywesker's CC Parts

View File

*I updated this topic so it would be easier to access/download my cc.* All of my content should be compatible with the latest update of The Sims 4/ previous versions. Everything is enabled for teens-elders, and most occult sims (I'll have to take a look again because I don't think I enabled everything for all occult sims.)  Disabled for random.  *If you're having any issues with my content, please let me know.*

*UPDATE*

*I recategorized everything, so everything should appear at the bottom of every category. I did this so it would be easier to find my cc and it was also getting harder for me to find my own cc in game. Also added some new and old/unreleased cc.*

*NEW*: Dante & Vergil's tattoos from DMC Devil May Cry (Yes, that game. Keep in mind these tattoos are technically old and were one of my first cc pieces ever. I've already shared no cc versions of both sims in the S4 Gallery if you're interested.)

*NEW*: Enji Todoriki's/ Endeavor's Scar (My Hero Academia) (Daddy, literally. The scar isn't perfect, but thought I'd share it anyway since I also made him available in the S4 Gallery too.)

*NEW*: Keigo Takami/ Hawks Beard (My Hero Academia) (Sim is also available in the S4 Gallery.)

*NEW*: Keigo Takami/ Eyeliner (My Hero Academia) (Eyeliner isn't perfect either, the only edit I made was erasing part of the eyeliner. I also recommend using S4simomo's Hawks Eyemarks if you have it.)

*NEW*: Genjirou Tanigaki's Scar (Golden Kamuy) (Sim is available in the S4 Gallery.)

*NEW: Parent Hood Beard + Accessory version (Both are Base-game compatible, I just made it a little thicker. Acc version uses the left brow ring slot. Also, it can be worn with other beards which I highly recommend.)

*NEW*: Spa Day Accessory top, (there are many other versions of this top that other creators have converted into accessory tops. So I wasn't planning to share my version, when there are already dozens of them out there. Here's another one to add to your collection.)

*NEW*: Gemini Elf Tattoos from the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! (Shhh, I'm an avid Yu-Gi-Oh! collector, don't shame me. I've already shared no cc versions of both sims in the S4 Gallery if you're interested.)

*NEW*: Nick's Arm Tattoo (Uncle Neighbor) (I didn't make a proper thumbnail for this tattoo because I didn't plan on sharing it. Nick is one of many datable guys from the novel game Uncle Neighbor and he has an arm tattoo.) (Sim is available in the S4 Gallery.)

Billy Coen's Tattoo: *Unisex*

This tattoo comes in the same 3 variants as my Gladiolus tattoo. It is basegame compatible or should be and also comes with its own thumbnail, so it should be easy to find.

Accessory Tank Tops: *FIXED*

I've seen plenty of accessory tank tops for ladies but none for the guys, soooo I decided to make my own. I extracted the base-game texture tank tops for men and turned them into an accessory clothing item. Tumbnail is included and comes in 40 swatches, most are EA's/Maxis's colors and some are my edits. (I removed the eyeliner version because I don't think it's necessary anymore.)

*More Male Accessory Tops:* *FIXED*

These tops are just like my tank tops and you'll find them in the gloves category. You can change the category with S4Studio if the gloves category isn't working out for you. All tops are base-game compatible and have the original EA/Maxis swatches and more. I don't remember the exact amount of swatches for each accessory top, though. I repeated the same process just like my original tank tops to get that skin tight look.

Hotchaworks Drake Tattoo: *For men only* (I won't be making a female version of this tattoo. The tattoo can be applied for female sims too but the tattoo placements will be off because it made specifically for the male body frame.)

This tattoo is pretty much the same as my other tattoos but it comes in 6 swatches, 2 are transparent just like the others.

There is a small issue that I can't fix, so you may see black lines that appear on the upper back and neck area of the tattoo. Also I don't think it's possible to add the penis tattoo because of conflicts.

Also, if you like what I do, then please consider supporting my content by downloading my original work. (You'll be seeing a lot up re-uploads of my sims in the Gallery, so use my user ID: death_by_wesker if you want to support me directly on there.) I know I said I don't care what you do, but re-uploads don't really support me, especially if it's just a plain copy and paste and no work done to the sim at all.*

I've updated my scars and added more category locations for them. I plan to re-upload them soon, but they shouldn't be affected with the latest patch update.

Hi deathbywesker!

Thanks for your content - I'm a big fan of your accessory tops for males. I'm running into an issue though! In CAS the tops look great, but in-game there's a strange black glitch with them. It looks almost like hair? And it looks like this happens along the edge of what would have been the original outline of these tops (the EA version). I'm attaching a screenshot of what I'm talking about as obvi this is super difficult to explain in words. Any insight on why this might be happening or any fixes would be greatly appreciated. I've tested the tops with many different things and it seems to be happening with whatever the sim is wearing (EA or CC), so I don't think this is a CC conflict glitch. Perhaps there's some sort of issue with the texture files on your accessory tops?

Hey jcedrone1003, thanks for addressing the issue and glad to hear your a fan. I’ll look into the issue and see what I can do.

would you feel comfortable sharing how you convert tops into accessories? Whenever I re-categorize tops into accessories into S4S, the mesh looks wonky

I extract the texture of the clothing I want and replace the current texture I'm using for the base (ex. "gloves"), I'll try to post a step by step tutorial explaining on how I do it. Tbh though, I'm not a good teacher so bear with me.

No worries. If it's too much of a hassle, don't worry about it :)

Here's a small tutorial on how I make accessory clothing for my guys. (This method can be applied for ladies too. However, this method won't work for every clothing item.)

Spoiler

1. Open up Sims4Studio and choose "Create 3d Mesh and rename/save it." (You won't be needing this first mesh for the final result, but you'll need it to extract clothing textures.)

748615500_step3.png.b23b32daeb59ff1aa42ac785d0085c98.png

Then pick a type of clothing you want to rip the texture from. (Ex. I'm using the Spa Day crop top.)

1501178287_step1.png.d0217a0a2bb17eec51a46307dd58d65d.png

2. Next, choose export the texture/swatch that you want, rename/save it and keep it as a dds image. (Paint.NET or Photoshop is recommended for editing, but you can use any 2D editor.)

1607831870_step2.png.d08da6a33d4a7fa7c06319abf62798ae.png

3. Create a another 3d mesh, but this time pick a category that has no 3d clothing mesh. (Ex. gloves, socks, leggings, tattoos, any skin-detail or make-up categories. These are just basically hand painted textures.)

(Not shown, but make sure to remove the shadow, specular and normal maps by choosing the "Make Blank" option because they aren't needed for your new texture that you'll be importing.)

2008793495_step4.png.58c132595e59c96c66ffce37ea58d596.png

4. Now import the texture that you saved from Step 2 and it will override the previous texture, in this case the "gloves."

5. Now test them.
