RPGs that don't shy away from sexual themes

Divinity Original Sin 2 has one explicit sex scene (text only), and it differs depending on who you're romancing. Sex scene with Lohse in particular is a really good piece of erotica. There is also one quest that involves sleeping with a prostitute in act 2, and Red Prince has a sex scene in his personal quest, that gets pretty explicit if you play as him, or you can just peek at it if you play someone else.

 

What I really like in RPG's is using sex to solve problems as a female protag. Like in Fallout 2 you can prostitute yourself for some hunters in exchange for gecko hides, or to get a discount for some parts required to get a car, if I remember correctly. Or in Vampire Masquerade, when you play as female, you can avoid a pretty hard fight by having sex with one guy.

 

Would like to get some suggestions with games that have scenes like that.

well, it's actually the kind of experience i want for my modded oblivion and skyrim:

a world that is aware of sex; with characters (and monsters) of (mostly) believable varying sexual interest (or desinterest or even fear) for a good fuck.

in Witcher, that is portrayed in a beievable manner, but it isn't "adult enough".

with most mods for Oblivion and Skyrim it is too much "in your face!" like similiar to "if all are rich, noone is" - "if everything is sexy, nothing is sexy".

if even the prude (clerus, guards, etc.) walk around showing more than 70% of their sexy skin, getting a hotty to strip is worthless.

There is no requirement to use revealing armors with Schlongs of Skyrim. There is nothing preventing you from using modest armors for the majority of characters while only the Dragonborn and friends have access to bikini/barbarian/gladiator armors. 

You can also use mods like Sex Crime or Dangerously Nude to reduce any sense that the same prudes who show disgust for your character walking around in the buff don't turn a blind eye to public sexual displays.

well, that's true. still many mods add desired sexual content while implementing it into the world in a way that just breaks immersion.

like... imagine adding prostitutes (good idea) into every home and shop (bad idea).

or rape on defeat (Nicccccce) but the townguard will then gangrape you infront of everyone on the main marketplace while the kids are watching and everyone just comments it badly (Oscar Mike Gulf! Whisky Tango Foxtrot?!).

The guard rape can be toggled off from mods like Sexlab Defeat as well as any rape by characters of a given morality. Those are just options for 'immersion breaking' actions.

Using the balance which is right for you is the one major responsibility of the mod user (besides not harassing mod makers or other mod users).

 

Just playing the other games in this thread will completely remove the guess work from this customization process, of course.

Now that Steam has loosened up on their restrictions of games with sexual content in them, one would expect this thread to swell quite a bit. Alas, there isn't exactly a glut of adult oriented RPGs finding their way to the Steam marketplace even now.
 

Nonetheless, there is still Sakura Dungeon, though it would be more accurate to say that sexual themes are at the heart of that experience while Boobs Saga is nothing but sexual themes molded into a game.

I would love a game like that too. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever get a game like that in current state of gaming industry, western political and all that.

i was just giving some examples on how difficult it can be. and as far as i remember, in sexlivion rape mods it was not possible to adjust them as much as those on skyrim.

There is an adult RPG that I am very partial to called The Last Sovereign which has sex as an integral part to the world's lore and every action since sex magic is commonplace. The (male) protagonist uses sex and the magic involved with it to solve many problems, the morality of which is questioned. It is soon to appear on steam, although it can be had easily for free by looking for the blogspot with the releases. It is both a parody and a very serious adult game which makes it quite unique in my eyes, to the point where I play it without much interest in the text only sex scenes since the story is very well made.

 

PS: the first 5 minutes are not representative of the rest of the game, it is a joke

Have you try Neverwinter Nights mod A Dance with Rogues? Only game that I think of fitting to description that is not "porn game" or "hgame".

 

I think conan exiles show potential but I not sure on progress of mods.

 

Other hand there are porn game where sex is priority and gameplay of RPG can be less interesting. Everything feeling like setup for porn. Not the same but I still enjoy some.

Now that I go through this thread again, I noticed that no one mentioned Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It even has (The)Amorous Adventures (of Bold Sir Hans Capon) as one of its official DLC pack releases.

Yeah but Henry is a tool so it's hard to enjoy playing with him. I'll second the BG mods. There's a mega-install-wizard thing that unifies them all if you have it. The writing is... not bad on average. I remember the cheating bard, but to be fair, he's a fucking bard. Sleeping with and then stealing from people is what he does.

 

Otherwise... yeah it's hard to think of any rpgs that have much sex in them, or even reasonable romances. The few that do usually use it as a joke. The market for sex-focused jrpgs is starting to open up but that's all basically barely passable RPGmaker stuff which usually means not great. Some pull it off.

 

Skyrim is kind of sad in that way to. It's got great mods and a few that even try to get the story and interactions built up, but you're limited by the structure of skyrim itself and it's extremely boring NPCs.

 

I'd recommend BG if you're into that kind of RPG because it pretty much is the best I can think of, and there's a few 'romance' mods around. There was one for Imoen that was... I dunno, infamous? I don't know if it ever got finished but it was supposed to be pretty good. Creepy, but good.

the rpgmaker games i tried are mostly focusing on sex-on-death or sex-on-win with strange sex situations happening oddly out of place.
