Shi-ku Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 IÂ have never really messed with converting armors to a new body type, is it rather hard and time consuming? So far the bikini armor is the only mods I have found for them. I am wanting to try and convert some cloth/spellcaster looking clothes over to them. Maybe some of the vanilla clothing too. I imagine turning some boots into hoove bracers (?) would require some model altering.

I imagine turning some boots into hoove bracers (?) would require some model altering.  The link I gave converts about 12 vanella armor types into the amazing bikini armor setups with swapped legs. There is a readme file that tells you how to use bodyslide to create the meshes. I have not found other armors converted over besides these. So if you want armors other then these ones you will have to do the custom mesh and skeleton work.  I hope that at some point the lovely pictures eria showed off with her converted armor mite be put out to the public. Or maybe she'll also be nice enough to create converted armors as well. Hands don't really change for the most part. The hard part is the actual body armor and feet that require major work to convert armor over.

I will have to see if I can convert over some chest pieces soon. Main issue I have right now is I am trying to get the horse schlong to work properly with the race. I see she used Fair Skin Complexion for them but the patches for the horse schlong don't seem to match up right. I am wondering if she maybe altered it some.
Kakurine222 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I am gonna assume that the original creator of the dreanei mod had to do alot of heavy customizing to get them as good as they are. That being said I would suggest contacting them directly with questions of how they did it. And for the sake of being nice to the original creator maybe get their good graces before editing the race they made too much.  If you have the means to convert more armor sets more power to ya and hopefully share with your fellow gamers. If you want to slap on a male package I suppose you could use a mod that allows equipment of that nature. But that's not my personal kink so I can't point you in their direction. But to each their own. It is a game afterall freedom of choice I say.

What i essentially did to make the nude dreanei i posted was.  1. open bodyslide in your skyrim folder. 2. select the body type file which should be called UNPD (this is erias dreanei body mesh nude) 3. Then from there you can preview what the body looks like and mess with the proportions. 4. Then I clicked settings in the botom right of bodyslide. Click browse for the reference skeleton. 5. Select skeleton file   skeleton_female_Dr.nif 6. click ok after choosing skeleton 7. If you are happy with your proportions you set up. Save the body settings under a name you'll remember so you can use the same preset when batching the armor I linked earlier. 8. hit the build button and let it create the nude meshes you want. You will wwant to mesh the hands named UNPD Hands as well. In order to avoid clipping with body parts and armor you will need to figure out settings that get things to line up. Then save the presets and do a mass batch build. There is a basic readme file in the files i linked to give basic instructions on how to use bodyslide and get stuff working. 9. after you build the body make sure you change the skeleton settings back to the skeleton_female_sk.nif But don't do another build just change the skeleton back say ok and you should be good. 10. Now run the usual fnis, loot/boss so the scripts and such get setup. 11. Launch your skyrim and make a dreaeni girl in her naked and giggly glory. and enjoy. 12. If they are not naked still the nude meshes you built should be sitting in the bodyslide folder in skyrim. Do a search for these things if you can't manually find them. If the system didn't properly place stuff for you. Take the meshes you made and put them in the SkyEDraenei folder that should be in your skyrim after installing erias mod like normal. Look at the files with nifskope to make sure the files are the naked dreanei girls.  This is essentially what I did I used the hourglass preset body type after selecting the base file and tweaked it a little after that. Then saved a special preset. Bodyslide is fairly easy to use. At least to generate meshes. Getting collisions and physic to work is different can of worms though.
WaywardTroper Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Apologies for necroing this thread, but I'm trying to figure out setting up my goat girl. I've got all the mods and the preset I'm interested in, but whenever I pull up UNPD in bodyslide, there are no textures, just a "noimage" map over the mesh. I have yet to add in an enhancedskin texture mod, but there should still be a texture to call up out the box, right? Â Edit: Nevermind, issue resolved
