sexout spunk closing game

I am trying to use sexout spunk, i made sure i have all the requirements and everything works fine except spunk keeps telling me i need NVSE 5.1.2 while i have 503. i have the most recent NVSE available. any help?

Why would it tell you that you need a more recent version if you had the latest one?

Download NVSE 5.1.2 which is newer than 5.0.3

Don't know what these mods do, but logic predicts that the order should be reversed:

 

SimpleStreetLights (Extra Lights).esp
SimpleStreetLights.esp

 

I think SexoutZAZ.esp  is fully integrated into Sexout and therefor no longer needed.

 

Other than that. Do you have NVSE Extender (NX) installed? And I think JIP's NVSE Plugin is also needed?

i have both NX and JIP installed. I also have the Lutana_NVSE.dll because one of the sexout mods couldnt read it From JIP

i have all the required files, and every aspect of Sexout works fine other than spunk, when activated i get the message that it needs NVSE 5.1.2 while i have 503. i have the newest NVSE downloaded. Could a plugin cause this? the street light mod had no effect and i disabled ZAZ with no change. Spunk is the only mod that will force close the game when i load a save.

The latest version on that page is 5.1.4.

I remember when JIP merged with Lutana, there was specifically written that the lutana dll had to be removed from the folder because it was causing downsides. So I did, because I had downsides. This is not related with your issues with NVSE, anyway I wanted to tell you my experience with it.

i got my Current NVSE from that file on silverlock, so im unsure how i have 5.0.3 when it says 5.1.4. Also New Vegas is saying i need 5.1.2 for the spunk to work. And i only use Lutana so the Sleeping necro plugin works, but ive had this problem with spunk since i began using Sexout. Are there alternative links to get NVSE?

Try disabling/removing Sexout Sleeping Necro and Lutena's to see if Spunk now correctly recognizes NVSE.  (temporarily)

 

If that doesn't work, it might also be that an installation overwrote your NVSE plugin, or perhaps some Sexout Spunk things.

If possible I'd redownload NVSE and Sexout Spunk and have them overwrite anything you already installed.

i went as far as doing a fresh reinstall of all mods and New Vegas itself. stll got the same error. I only installed sexout and its requirements and started a new save and still got the same error. i tried re downloading NVSE from Bethesda forums and Silverlock with no luck. one version of NVSE said i had NVSE 457 but all other ones including the most recent one says i have version 503 but i need 5.1.2

Having finished a FNV play-threw recently, I find that a lot of these sexout mods don't seem work anymore, or If they do it's only partial! While Sexout itself seems to keep being updated more or less, a lot of the other mods seemed to have stopped dead! Especially the simple ones that just initiate sex threw dialogue, and I think that's the problem right there. At this point I trust a lot of them are probably completely incompatible!

I remember recently trying to install Spunk once or twice, and just not getting there, it just flat out did not work for me! The only time I remember when it worked was when someone published a compilation of mods here, and they had everything working more or less! And I thing this was a couple of years ago on the old site, probably long gone by now.

Sexout Spunk, Sexout Common Resources, Sexout Pregnancy, Maternity Pack Overkill, Unethical Deeds and Sexout Breeder still get updated from time to time.

Also there is no reason that age alone stops mods from working.

 

However it is true that Fallout New Vegas mods are more likely to have installation issues. Not only because the number of plugins in more limited, but the Fallout New Vegas engine dislikes running too many scripts.

 

There is SNMP, which should install all Sexout Common Resources and Sexout Pregnancy mods.

From my personal experience, I can say the engine dislikes broken scripts, while the correct scripts are one of the few things you can mod the hell out of yourself. The engine dislikes more mesh/texture/audio/animations, the worse mods are those adding Gbs of assets, I can't pretend that something so aged and full of limits load them all without downsides, also considering that some mods contain broken assets inside.

 

Few months ago I was making few experiments and had some issues with S.O. spells not working as they used to - if someone has time and will, maybe it would be a good thing to investigate.

@dborg2 do you have a link for SNMP and does it include spunk? otherwise i've just come to the conclusion its not going to work and just don't use it, it would have provided a more realistic effect to the game, but its far from needed. Thanks for your input guys!

It doesn't include Sexout Common Resources or Sexout Spunk. Also it's a bit outdated for Maternity Pack Overkill + 1 of the script addons.

 

1. Install Sexout Common Resources and it's stuff.

2. Install Sexout Spunk (latest version)

3. Install SMMP and overwrite everything it wants to overwrite.

4. Install Maternity Pack Overkill + MPO scriptAddon Base, and have it overwrite everything.
