Botanics Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Well, I just did a clean re-install of skyrim and now SKSE is making my skyrim freeze on startup and "Not respond" This ever happen to you guys?
myuhinny Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 When you did the clean reinstall did you remove all files from the skyrim folder then uninstall and then reinstall it back?

Just yesterday, and Yeah deleted the skyrim folder uninstalled skyrim, re-installed. Then manually installed the newest version of SKSE.
myuhinny Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Not sure maybe something went wrong with the SKSE maybe try deleting the files and installing them again and see if that works. Also what is your load order maybe something that uses SKSE is causing it.

myuhinny Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Well running the game through SKSE is only needed when you have mods that need it. If you have nothing installed that uses SKSE then don't load the game through it till you do. Other then that I have no clue why SKSE would cause a freeze up.
