Or am I missing something here? They update assorted files, notably Update.esm mostly to add support for some CC content. I vaguely remember there being a problem with ESLs in that they couldn't do everything CC needed, thus Bethesda has to put the changes into Update.esm. Occasionally they even fix bugs, but it's almost always stuff USLEEP already had fixed so it's not that important. There's also Skyrim.ccc which is a masterlist of published Creation Club mods for some reason. And, of course, they update SkyrimSE.exe. Nobody is really sure why. There is enough frustration to fuel conspiracy theories about Bethesda vs. SKSE, but odds are it's for some tweak to the engine to support something they want to release in a CC mod. Link to comment

bweins Posted March 18, 2019 Share Posted March 18, 2019 I get that I have to wait for SexLab to be updated (which is gonna have to wait until the site's back on both feet), so I reverted to an older version of SSE. Only problem is, I have the newest version of SKSE64. I've been playing Oldrim, but installed SSE just yesterday (so no choice in the whole not-updating thing). Is there anyway to get an older version of SKSE64 (the site only offers the most updated version)? Link to comment
