You can choose from a few different biped slot options in CM's MCM. I do have that mod, guess I did not look at the MCM close enough, You Rock!! Thanks so much.

I really like the convenience of this mod, so I patched it to use the "protected equipment" feature of AAF. Now, any item you manage with this mod will be ignored by AAF, so it will work with any mod that uses AAF for animations. The mod now adds a keyword to any item added to the "No-Strip" container. The keyword makes AAF ignore the item for undressing and redressing purposes. The keyword is removed from the items when they are removed from the container or when the container is emptied using the "maintenance" function. All of the mod's existing functionality is unchanged, so it will continue to work as before with other mods. Edit 12/25/2018: new version attached. It turns out the addition of the keyword is not persistent across saves, so you would need to remove and re-add the items to the container each time you loaded your game. The new version re-adds the keyword automatically to the items when you load your game so it now works as it should. If you had a previous version of this mod installed, uninstall it and install this version. Then load your game, open the console, and type: stopquest RoggNoStripManagerQuest startquest RoggNoStripManagerQuest then, save your game and load it again. After that the mod will forever work as intended. You only need to do this once, and only if you had an earlier version installed. Rogg No-Strip Items Manager v1.0.0 AAF V2.7zUnavailable Ehhh... Mo unavailable.

In particular, hats.

You might consider selecting an affected actor in a running scene on the game console and issuing the showinventory command, compare to the output of the same command for the same/equivalent actor outside a scene.
chocomidi Posted May 10, 2025 Posted May 10, 2025 Hi, first of all, thanks for creating this mod. It worked well for me at first, but I’m now facing an issue and could use some help. Due to some technical issues, I rolled back a few mods, including No-Strip Items Manager. After reinstalling it, I found that previously protected items can no longer be unprotected—they don’t show up in the Manager, but AAF still won’t strip them during animations. I initially thought it was just a few items, but now I realize all items in the same slot won’t be stripped by AAF. I tried re-adding and removing the items in the Manager, but it didn’t work. I also completely reinstalled Mod Organizer 2 and Fallout 4, started a new save, and didn’t reinstall the Manager. I checked all equipmentSetData.xml files to make sure “unEquip” isn’t changed to “Equip,” but the problem still persists. I’m not a mod creator, not sure where the issue lies. Could it be that a mistake on my end caused the Manager’s keywords or records to get messed up, affecting AAF’s behavior? I’d really appreciate it if anyone can give me a support
