06660 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I regret my latest install using ostim shitware and should've stuck with old faithful here.
NordicCarved Posted April 25 Posted April 25 No idea if anyone will see this or if I get an answer but despite pretty much everything else in the game working the ONE problem I still have is when I try to load the SexLab mod menu in game i instantly crash?
Soronarr Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Hmmm... I thought that you could select/change sex position at will? Or was there another mod that lets you select positions when sex scene starts (or right before)?

I use Sexlab Tools, it lets you select animations, stages, view animations by tags, disable and unregister animations. Edited April 25 by greenblackflame
Soronarr Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Another questions - I've yet to find a good way to deal with futas (especially in NPC-NPC scenes). I turned off all anal animations in SexLab, and futa x female works fine, but futa x futa defaults to anal animations. And I HATE anal. Is there some combo of options to tell sex lab to use both male and female anims for females (or just futas if possible).

greenblackflame Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) 2 hours ago, Soronarr said: seems old .. 2020 last update?? Yeah, it's old. The first time I discovered it, I didn't know when or where I got it from either. Maybe some other mod includes this as a requirement, I don't know. Another variant/patch somewhere in a thread about an issue of animations not being available (possibly by the same author?), of Sexlab Tools also includes 'unlock animations' as an option. But honestly Sexlab Tools was the only reason I went back to sexlab from both Ostim Standalone and Sexlab P+. It's minimal, reliable and simple, and gives me all the options I want with viewing, finding and disabling animations. But if this isn't the mod you were asking about, then I too would like to know which mod you meant. Sexlab tools might not be what you meant, because it doesn't automatically ask for an animation before starting a scene, unless if you hit the key to show the list of animations, which you can do at any point of a scene. This is what fixed my issues. Updated a bunch of mods recently, and Sexlab was more wonky than a drunk koala at a frat party. Switched the Sky UI out, and everything works again. Tip of the hat to you Matey, you saved me a ton of headaches digging through stuff. Cheers!

Yes you can. there is even a shortcut/hotkey for that. However i'm not sure it came from bare SLF itself or after upgrading it with SexLab Utility Plus (don't confuse it with "SLP+" - whole different story)
Soronarr Posted April 26 Posted April 26 SexLab Utility Plus v20240407.7z - this is different fomr SEx Lab Tools?? Bit it's form 2024. And apprently is fixes futa animtion selection? Can someone elaborate on this - do Ievne need this with Sex Lab 1.66b?

Some folks complain about latest versions of SLU+ being worse than previous dues to some unresolved issues, for me patch for version 1.66 looks unfinished (IIRC author mentioned that somewhere too) but mine issues with SLF may be a result of forking both mods - so I may be to blame for mine issues alone and due to that I have no clue how it performs in non-customized form. Yet I think you can safely try it to see for yourself.
Soronarr Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Weirdness happening on my end. SLU+ at first seemed to work normally, then weird bugs with character being frozen after sex act, so removed it and continued from old save. Sexlab tools for SE (Patched) v3.0 causes a CTD when starting Skyrim. And a funny new bug that just started - character glitching trough terrain. From falling trough, to ending up in limbo on fast travel to being half-submerged in terrain. Could be blended roads. That's the only thing I added that might explain it...

Hi, regarding the CTD with Sexlab Tools, did you perhaps forget to disable UI extensions? Installation Instructions - Conflicts states: MAKE SURE TO UNCHECK UI EXTENSIONS in Wyre Bash or SSEDIT as it conflicts and will cause CTD (Conflicts) UI Extensions To make them work together Disable the ESP in Wyre Bash or SSEDIT, etc.
Anno_nymos Posted April 30 Posted April 30 (edited) i run into a problem that none of the sexlab button works, like they doesn't do anything, the "play animation" doesn't work, not even the "clean system" or "disable" button work as i tried to uninstall it Edited April 30 by Anno_nymos

Nonsense - UI Extensions works in mine build perfectly fine since day 1, the only thing that I never had installed is SL Tools, because all I would ever need from it, which is anim list/menu - I get in SL Defeat, which also requires UIex for that. 1
BRN311 Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I cant get this mod to work and getting this notification in vortex skse. any solutions?

You must use the version of SKSE specific to your Skyrim. I think that's the version of Skyrim v1170. Are you on version 1170? 10 minutes ago, BRN311 said: vortex From what I've seen, that mod manager gets pretty fussy over trivial things. OK, the message clearly states that PapyrusUtil.DLL and SexlabUtil.DLL are incompatible. The most common cause of this is that an outdated mod is overwriting these DLLs. MO2 has a DATA tab where you can search for these DLLs, and it will easily tell you which mod is responsible for overwriting them. I'd like to think Vortex has a similar function, but I honestly don't know because I stopped using it years ago. Check which mod is overwriting your DLLs; that's the culprit. Cheers

Hello again, the "overwrite folder" It's a special storage area at the end of your mods list that captures files generated by external tools such as your Animation Engine or Body Slide, in no way are the mods that overwrite stored there. If you're using MO2, check here: Spoiler As you can see, I have two other mods that include that DLL, but Sexlab is wining conflicts over those 2 in the left pane. Something else in the left pane is overwriting Sexlab; check the left pane. It's a requirement so confirm you have it installed and it's the right version for you (I think there's an all in one nowadays so this shouldn't be an issue, but still happens).
