Requesting creative input for sexual perks

So I am working on a mod and thought it would be a nice feature to have perks based on Sexlab, Arousal, Nudity, adult content in general. I want to make them in such a way that they

 

  • integrate well with regular gameplay
  • are actually useful and worth getting
  • are balanced
  • make some form of sense
  • promote certain playstyles or gameplay choices.

 

The perks are chosen through the MCM to avoid conflicts with other mods changing perk trees, cost perk points and eventually shall have skill requirements, but not necessarily of one specific tree. (For example, a melee focused perk could require to have at least 50 levels in either One-handed or Two-handed.)

The purpose of this thread is to get some more ideas and to see how much interest the community has in such a feature. Feel free to post any ideas you might have, anything goes at this point.

 

To give you an example, I have already implemented a to-be-named perk that makes the first attack you land on an NPC go critical if you are naked and the NPC has detected you (so it won't work in combination with stealth attacks). The idea is that your opponent will underestimate you for not wearing armor and you are able to exploit it. The gameplay choice is "Do I roll with a two-handed power attack to get the full effect of the crit, or play safer and go with a sword-and-shield combo since I am naked."

To give you a negative example, there is a mod here on loverslab that has a perk in it which reduces stagger when you are skilled at blowjobs or something. It is useless and makes no sense. 

That being said, I know there are a couple of mods that add sexual perks, but afaik they are all abandoned and don't really feature the types of perks I want to make.

 

Any input would be welcome.

-Bukkakeborn perk, or drenched in cum after sex : Increase resistance to fire and frost magic by 50%, and 10% chance to self-disarm weapon on every attack (slippery due to the cum all over you).

-Master of Handjob : cannot be disarmed by enemy (excellent grip)

-Art of Fisting : unarmed attack have 50% chance to stagger enemy

I'll spit out a number of suggestions, but some will be based on presumptions of different mod compatibilities and such. They also probably won't be that creative.

 

Also while I understand the fear of clashing with other perk overhauls, MCM only is dangerously "un-immersive". If at all possible consider instead a basic spell menu, or quest/dialogue rewards or potions or standing stones or some such thing.

 

First off consider obvious interactions and mindsets on simple interactions:

One that makes a high-arousal male do more damage (to?/around? females) but take more, for some vague rapist setup.

You could do some sadist thing where you do more damage but gain arousal per hit. And obviously the inverse for Masochist.

 

I said these ideas aren't very creative, mostly allowing for two variables to interact to flesh out a single character concept.

I'm unaware of the extent of cross-script-mod possibilities as I have little experience actually modding script mods. I don't know how you can or would want to achieve certain effects. Flat character modifiers, cloak spells affecting nearby targets or something else.

 

A lot of it comes down to picturing the different ways you can interpret things like "confidence" into gameplay values.

 

Like bridging into Devious Devices, you could have an effect that increases a female's "confidence" when fighting male characters if they're protected by a belt because they may feel safer from potential consequences of losing. But then the question is what to modify. Less damage taken? Better stamina regeneration?

Magicka regen or damage done could be reduced at higher arousal to add more of a meaningful downside to wearing devious devices as well.

You could combine the two to maybe give some inherent buff to a female character keeping their virginity. Which is lost(or replaced with a debuff) if they fail to do so. A chastity belt obviously makes the buff permanent, which you could then balance out with some nerfs to being in a state of high arousal or more ways to get to high arousal.

 

Depending on what you can do, if pregnancy of any associated mod can properly identify a "father", maybe have a buff that affects them so that they can better protect the mother of their children? Or something along those lines.

 

As far as bestiality is concerned, you could track arousal and give demerits to how well you can sneak around creatures, or that you take more damage from them as they catch your scent and hunt you down. Following intercourse with an animal the same effects could be apparent or made stronger as others compete for the "territory" that one has already marked.

 

I don't know what fetishes you're cool with representing or not, whether or not you're considering Bestiality for example, much less different mod compatibilities as above.

 

I'm also listing entirely negative effects without coming up with any positives to balance them out. So a lot can't even be applied as perks.

I'm imagining using a sex related perk mod and all I have to envision are modifiers like Devious Helpless(I THINK) that reduces the weight of restraints as you wear them, which is just a single constant magical effect. Just like the base Devious devices mod lowers your experience gain at high arousal.(Which also used to be far more punishing, iirc). There are also the milk mod buffs/debuffs which are silly but make at least some amount of consistent silly sense.

I do appreciate effects like that to just give a little bit of gameplay context to stuff going on with the character. So that's all I've really suggested.

Decent ideas

- Bukkakeporn: I already thought about some sort of "cum armor" and this could be nice, just the self-disarm seems a little hyperrealistic to me.

- Master of Handjob: Enemies can disarm you?

- Art of Fisting: Would complement an unarmed character, though from the top of my head I don't know how to stagger an enemy. Would also need investigation if you could effectively stunlock an enemy with this, that would make it op.

Well I don't really understand why it is "unmmersive" when you pick them through the MCM, but I guess a different approach I could take is making a seperate mod and then add them in the regular menu. It would certainly be a bit nicer. The downside would then simply be that the user could not use it alongside another mod that changes perk trees.

This could all be done, although increasing arousal would then need to have some downside in gameplay.

Well I generally don't want you to worry about what I can and can't do. Just suggest anything you'd like to see and I'll see what I can do. I can always ask here on the forums if all else fails.

 

Now that you mentioned "cross script mod possibilities" It got me thinking. It might not actually be possible to edit perk trees dynamically depending on what mods are installed. This bascially means every dependency would require its own patch and all of those patches would be incompatible with each other. So it would not be feasible to make such patches unless they add a sizeable amount of content.

 

As far as fetishes are concerned, let's just say anything that can be achieved with just Sexlab and Aroused will be okay, though I want to focus on a female player. This includes bestiality as well. I would be willing to make content for Devious Devces although I am currently not interested in them, but only if there is a sizable amount of perks I want to make and the amount of effort/time it takes me is reasonable. For example, detecting whether Devices are equipped and what kind should be easy, but I don't know how all of their more complex mechanics work.

I would suggest taking advantage of the Sexlab Framework as well as the SL Aroused mod if you're not planning to already. Some ideas, most of these should probably be mutually exclusive:

 

 

Horned God's Blessing - your mana pool size is influenced by your Arousal stat - high arousal gives a medium bonus, low arousal gives a large penalty.

 

Racial Fetish - choose a race, and having consensual sex with them causes your racial power to gain the effect of theirs. However, you do less damage to them, and they are likely to overpower you in combat and take advantage of you.

 

Life and Lust - Killing an enemy grants a small amount of hp and a large amount of arousal and timerate. If your arousal stat hits the max, you receive a speed penalty.

 

Defiling Fury - your magic is reduced. However, having sex with hostiles (as the aggressor) grants you a brief but terrible, physical rage which is refreshed if you are able to kill another creature before it runs out. When it runs out, you receive a crippling, long-lasting exhaustion debuff.

 

Shaman of Pain - Your mana pool is increased by a large amount, but you have no mana regeneration at all. Instead, mana is regained when a hostile overpowers and takes advantage of you.

 

Kleptophile - you gain a bonus to the thiefly arts, but trespassing, lockpicking and stealing items now increase arousal, and grant a chance that you will be unable to keep from masturbating on the spot and possibly giving yourself away. Chance is modified by item value and arousal stat.

 

Good For One Thing - Your speechcraft receives a tremendous boost. However, no humanoid NPC that finds you a compatible match will engage in normal conversation until they have had sex with you. After sex, they will give you a few coins and speak to you for an hour.

increase in lust = decrease in resistance

Charismatic - Increase barter / persuade vs opposite sex (but may decrease barter / persuade with same sex)

Intimacy - Increase barter / persuade vs npc that had sex with you. You can also take some of their stuffs depending on the intimacy perk level

Succubus - Gain temporary HP / MP / SP bonus after having sex with opposite sex (but may incur bounty every time you have sex in town)

Femme Fatale - Enemies of opposite sex do less damage to you (but enemies of same sex may do more damage to you)

Lustful Object / Beastess - Enemies / creatures of opposite sex will not attack you unless provoked

Tongue Works - Oral sex grants speech experience
