FNIS Refuses to Work

I have been trying for about a month and a half to get FNIS back up and running. I've done all of the troubleshooting I could find online, changed my mod organizer (currently using Mod Organizer now), uninstalled and reinstalled FNIS and all mods multiple times with different techniques, and it just REFUSES to work. So I definitely need help.

Basically what's happening here is that FNIS is not loading any of my mods except for FNIS creature pack and extensions. All my mods basically work, but no animations are involved. My characters are tied up, but they walk around normally as if they aren't. Posted below is my FNIS log (version 7.0):

FNIS Behavior V7.0   1/1/2018 10:18:28 PM
Skyrim 32bit: 1.9.32.0 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam)

Skeleton(hkx) female: Default (99 bones)   male: Default (99 bones)
Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix"

Reading FNISBase V7.0 ...
Reading FNISCreatureVersion V6.1 ...

All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files...
Alternate Animation mods: 0 sets: 0 total groups: 0 added file slots: 0 alternate files: 0

Create Creature Behaviors ...

0 animations for 2 mods successfully included (character)

Attached also is my load order in images (ignore unchecked mods; they are old ones I don't use anymore and can't figure out how to remove).

Finally, here's my skyrim.ini:

Any help to get this back up and running would be greatly appreciated!

tick the gender specific animations in fnis

I've tried that already, but it still doesn't load any of the animations.

Have you set FNIS to run as executable in MO?

Tried it with and without MO executable. Neither worked, and I decided to just do without setting the exe in MO.

If you are using MO you must setup fnis as a MO exe or it cannot see your mods.

Alright, that's good to know. So I set up FNIS to run from MO now, but it still isn't reading any of my mods. In fact, now it's only running the FNIS folder and not the FNIS creature pack.

If you run FNIS from MO and still not get it work, I think it possible that you didn't install all mod correctily.

More than possible, but the mods that ARE properly installed should at least be registering with FNIS.

No, anything outside of MO shouldn't see anything in it.

FNIS shouldn't see any of your mods when you run it outside of MO.

That's the point of using MO.

Right, I'm following that train of thought. That's why I set up FNIS to run in MO like you said, and it still isn't working. The mods are installed correctly inside MO, but even if some of them aren't, the rest should be loading with FNIS.

Sorry for asking the obvious but ... you have run 'update FNIS behaviour' since you reinstalled it through MO? Also, does FNIS report any errors? How many anims does FNIS say are installed?

Are we talking just sex anims here or any anims?

If all else fails - try loading with an absolute minimum of mods.

No problem... yes, I have updated FNIS behaviour. As of right now, here is the log given to me:

This is since I've installed it to run with MO. Even if I run it with ONLY Sexlab and zaz, for example, it doesn't register anything. It's all non-vanilla animations that it ignores.

I think you need to post a screenshot of your FNIS exe setup in MO.

I would be happy to. What do I need to screenshot? The folder location?

See this line:

The yellow part of the installation part is superfluous and prevents FNIS from finding everything else.

First of all, please forgive me for any translation errors in this text, since English is not my native language.

I'm afraid that the solution to your problem requires a complete reinstallation of your game if I can afford to give you this advice. This will at least have the merit of getting you back on a good foundation.

Steam has the unfortunate habit of being installed by default in a directory protected by the [UAC] of your OS. Most of the tutorials present in the community recommend an installation made in a directory other than this one, free from any limitation made by the [UAC], if possible on another hard drive that will be dedicated to it. The same goes for MO.

"avoid installing Steam and Skyrim in "C: \ Program Files" or "C: \ Program Files (x86)" folders since Windows User Account Control [UAC] will cause issues with a modded Skyrim." quote from STEP.

If you are not yet comfortable with the use of MO and the installation of its various plugins, I recommend you to follow these tutorials if you do not already know them, they are very well done and in English.

First of all, thank you for helping me out; I will go ahead and try that here; however, MO seems to constantly insist on putting those two folders into the directory for some reason.

Two- YAY! The creator is helping me out now! FNIS stands no chance now!

Sure thing, I'll be sure to check those out. What is your native language? I'm a little fluent in German myself, if that helps at all. Otherwise, sorry. lol

GOOD NEWS! It looks like it's working now! Time to give it a test run!

That happened because you've ignored one of the warnings in MO that should (almost) never be ignored.

http://prntscr.com/hw63gv Since you seem to speak german, you can see here the warning ou shouldn't ignore and how to fix it. For other mods there might not be a "data" folder, chose the folder that has the meshes or texture folders in it (not those folder themselves, the one that contains them). There are few cases where you don't have any of these, like a bodyslide preset seperated from meshes etc. That's one of the few cases where it's fine to ignore this warning.

But back to the topic.
To support the excellent point raised by Nazzzgul666 in his previous post, this video made by GamerPoets gives you the complete method for installing FNIS in MO and NMM. It also details the uninstall procedure if necessary. Here is the link, it could be useful to others too.

You're right I did initially mess that up. The good news is though that I corrected that LONG before I posted on here. The problem was that I had a hard time getting fnis to run from the correct folder after I messed it up. The better news is that I got it fixed.

Awesome, thank you!

Ah, French is the language I had the MOST difficult time with. Lol, I've studied French, German, Italian, Welsh, and Spanish, but French never set in my mind.
